@KoW: I think that's Toshimitsu Saito, a Saito retainer who was an officer of Mitsuhide's, and Motochika married his sister. He'd probably get in because of his "connections".

Murakami Yoshimitsu? The guy was a relatively minor Noshima-Murakami pirate who simply fought at Itsukushima and Kizugawaguchi Nomi navy. The only particularly notable thing about him is he married Nomi Munekatsu's daughter.

He has NOTHING to do with Soul Calibur's Yoshimitsu.

If any Murakami pirate gets in, it'll be Takeyoshi.

Yeah I think it was him. I thought Yoshimitsu steals gold to give it to poor. Oh wait thats namco...

Anyways it would be really cool if Koei could borrow the character Yoshimitsu from Namco and make it a guest character for SW3. His story could relate to ninjas and have rivalry with Fuuma and Hanzo.

Also I searched in google, I found out that there are couple of NPC who have Yoshimitsu name. Having him in the game could attract quite a lot of tekken/soulcalibur fans...

I thinks probably Ii Naomasa (9/10), Hojo Ujimasa (8/10), Uesugi Kegakatsu (9/10), maybe Nobutada Oda (beacause he's Oda family ..), Tadakatsu five general ( i forgot their names), Masanori Fukushima(5/10)

and the last one i guess is Yukimura Brother Nobuyuki Sanada (10/10) maybe... because the event on the empires. ^^

NO GUEST CHARACTERS!!!!

I'm sorry having a character from an entirely different game is a dreadful idea, no relevence to history and such would make anyone rather pointless (alright we had Fu Xi and Nu Wa in DW3 but they are seriously borderline)

On topic: I have a slight feeling that Nagahide Niwa may get a spot in SW3

although he wasnt in the wars of the sengoku period i think masazumi ishida (mitsunari ishidas brother) could be a good choice but i think hideyoshi courtesan chacha could be a good candidate cos she could open up more toyotomi and azai storylines

Don't see how Cha Cha could really get much (in the way of missions), she was a child by the time the Azai fell, and the only battle I can see (that Hideyoshi isn't in) is Osaka Castle.

I can see why you want Masazumi in
Other than the fact that he's Mitsunari's brother and that your account is named after him I can see no other reason for him to be in.

I would personally prefer Eastern Army guys who aren't strictly Tokugawa so as to give it diversity. Right now the Eastern Army is literally the Tokugawans + Masamune. This is why I'd personally prefer and expect guys like Kuroda Nagamasa or Kato Kiyomasa over Sakai Tadatsugu or Sakakibara Yasumasa.

If we had more specifically Tokugawa guys, I'd expect Naomasa or Honda Masanobu. Naomasa due to fan demand, and Masanobu since Ieyasu still doesn't have a strategist, plus there's a lot that can be done with Masanobu plot-wise.

We already seem to be getting Kiyomasa, so no real issues on that end.

Remember, this is a thread for people with the best chance to get in, NOT who you WANT in. All Ishida Masazumi did was die at Sawayama Castle after Sekigahara.
