Matsu was Toshiie's wife. For the Hojo, it might be Ujimasa and/or his dad. Soun was not in the period, but he could make a cameo appeareance (maybe in Ujiyasu's Dream he fought his grandpa). The Miyoshi Trio and Hisahide Matsunaga should appear in the game (don't be afraid of Basara, Koei!) so there would be the scenario where Nobunaga fights the Miyoshi in Kyoto. For the Takeda, Masayuki should act like Shingen's apprentice and Nobufusa as an elderly warrior whho always want to prove he still got it. |

Sasuke Saturobi is a good add . Yoshikage Asakura has a good chance of being added . Matsu is good too. |

Hideyori and Hidetata are cool they are the sons of the great hideyoshi and ieyasu .What about Nobuyuki Sananda and Masasuki Sananda . Masasuki Sananda was one of greatest stratagist of his time.Dosetsu Tachibana is Tadakakatsu's equal .Also Nohime father and the rest of the Tokugawa guardians to be playable characters in SW3.

Top 10 of possible new characters in my view: 1. Ujimasa Hojo 2. Ujiyasu Hojo 3. Masanori Fukushima 4. Matsu Maeda 5. Naomasa Ii 6. Chiyome Mochizuki 7. Ekei Ankokuji 8. Nobuyuki Sanada 9. Masayuki Sanada 10. Motonari Mouri That is the list of top 10 possible adding. Clearly, a lot of people demanding Ujimasa so he's in the top of my list. I highly doubt Koei will put Motonari, that is why he's in the bottom of my list. |

I agree people this is not the wishlist thread, this is for discussion on who has the best chance of being included in SW3... And Miyazaki I had high hopes for Motonari in the beginning but they are slowly fading. He wasn't actually in that many battles which are depicted in SW. My memory is a bit hazy so I don't remember if he was dead or alive around the time of Honganji (Osaka Bay) but unless Koei seriously come up with a huge "What if" scenario I can't see him being included... Hojo Ujiyasu/Ujimasa has a much higher chance given the potential retainers now in SW and the fact the Hojo have at least one "major battle" in the form of Odawara castle. |

Don't forget that they are adding more Mori battles. So he's chances are one of the highest in my opinion. But it looks like Otomo, Hosokawa or Hojo |

As much as I want Motonari, I think Terumoto, Murakami Takeyoshi, Ankokuji Ekei or Kobayakawa Takakage all ultimately have a better chance of being the Mouri representative. |

Just who are you talking about? I reckon there's no character named Yoshimitsu (not even as NPC). Chances for Motonari Mori and any of his sons (like Motoharu and Takakage) to be added are small. If the Mouri will get anybody, I think it will be Ekei, but Terumoto isn't bad either. |

Hideyori was pretty much a bumbling fool, he allowed his mother, Lady Yodogimi/ChaCha to strategize against the Tokugawa, one of the reasons which lead to both of their deaths. she had more control over the Toyotomi than he did, besides the fact that it was reputed that she'd slept with any number of Toyotomi retainers, including Mitsunari(who by this point was rather unpopular). |

Yea, she committed alot of adultery.I hate her  I hope Yodo never gets added, theres no reason for her to.The only great thing I would like about it is that I'd get to kick her asshh  wiff Nene!I really hope Matsu is added, Im suprised that she hasnt been announced for SW3.Hmmm, I'd also like to see Motonari Mori, and maybe Nana too. |

*points out*i DID say reputed, i believe that there's as much fact to support that she did not do these things(Hideyoshi was already dead, by the by) and how is it adultery if he had dozens of concubines? no one seems to hate him because he was man-whore? why all the double standards, at least she was trying to support the Toyotomi holding on to power. i think she'd be a great add, she has such an amazing tragic story, it's said that she went a little mad from all the horrible turns her life took. i even believe it's the subject of a Japanese opera about it. |

Heyyy, no need to get mad.Its my opinon of what I think of her.Im just saying, the many tragedys in her life, just because all of that happened to her doesnt mean she had a right to act crazy, or be not very kind to those around her. She's described as a ''wicked'' woman of her era.There is no double standard, I didnt mean it as because he was a man he could do all this and she could'nt.I just thought sense he was the ''Taiko'' he was allowed to have more then one lover, I didnt think concubines could. |

not mad at all. just wanted to point those bits out. Lady Yodogimi gets a rough deal. she was also very kind to her grandchildren and loved Princess Senhime very much, and aided her in escaping from Osaka to return to her family. and of course, Iyeasu took Sen back, big softie. |

Ok, good.I didnt want us to argue over Yodo  But I see your point to, she did had a rough life.There are bad/good points to her, and I think if anyone reads about her you'll understand way she was like that.I wander when the fifth character will be shown? |

Iyeasu perhaps made such a large effort to rescue her(possibly) or have her escape(differing stories), because her mother, Yodo-dono's sister Oeyo was married to Hidetada. and she was said to be a persuasive woman. Sen later married Tadaoki Honda. Tadakatsu's grandson. i think KOEI'll be more forthcoming than they were with DW6, since they are aware how mad everyone was. |

As someone who desperately wants the Mori to get some love, I can admit that while I may wish for Motonari, Terumoto does have the greater chance. Ekei Ankokuji was one of the wild cards I had thought about. He seemed to get a lot more attention than most of the non-daimyo NPCs in SW2, especially in the Western Army's campaigns. I always had a suspicion Koei might have a soft spot for him, for whatever reason. That suspicion's faded, though, and I'm putting money on one of the others you've mentioned. |

Hearing Ankokuji Ekei's name every time playing Sekigahara always rings a bell. He would make an additional character for the Western Army as well as a Mōri retainer. |

If there's no Motonari or Terumoto, then they should just put Ekei to represent the Mouri clan. Since he served Motonari before Terumoto, he could have some of Mori's early battles too. It's interesting to note that in SW2, when all other Mori characters rebel in Sekigahara, he's the only one stays loyal to Western army. He was also a monk historically which is another reason why I would want to see him as playable. We have warriors, advisors, strategists, ninjas, nobles and even a knight in shiny armour (  ) but no monks.

Exactly. Plus, in Edo Castle, Ekei's the one who refuses to betray his principles, and ends up needing a heroic rescue. For a generic NPC, they really promoted his loyalty and unwavering honor. Edited by Lord Manshoon, Aug 26 2009, 11:28 PM.
