The game is slated for release early 2009 and will not be finished before Crimson Steel. I assure you it plays as good as it looks. I will certainly send you what I have so far and ask for your thoughts. I will send it to you saturday and will update my first post. I plan to have MKM help with the programming efforts, I'm sure he will be more than eager to join. I plan an Arcade mode with each character having an ending sequence and a survival mode as well as versus.

The Element of Rock Posts: 946 Group: Members Member #14,654 Joined: April 11, 2008	For now it is just those 10 characters and 2 secret bosses. If this goes over well I will add more. As it is, I will need to make around 240 animations for just those 12 characters, so I have my hands full.

But soz i cannot be soon , i havnt worked on sprites for my game in a while , and i want to finnish the game for Xmas ....but things have slowed down recently . So i have my hands full to lol.

Also I'm going to send you what I have so far just so you can get a better idea and maybe share your thoughts. One thing though, I need a code so that I can perform combos like down arrow+A key.

I hope your excited, today I'm sending you a demo, keep in mind the only operational char is Yoshi, but I would like you to post a review on your thoughts about the game's progression. Keep in mind that I just started making it a week ago.

I am very happy about this news, and about this game A versus-game like "Soul Calibur 4". This is a very very good Idea !!! My favorite characters are : Lu Bu, Orochi, Wei Yan, Zhen Ji, Ling Tong, Gan Ning, Yukimura Sanada and Nobunaga Oda (from KOEI) and Devil Jin, Yoshimitsu, Nightmare, Kilik, Jin Kazama, Ivy, Heihachi Mishima, Taki and Steve Fox (from Namco-Bandai) and Ryu Hayabusa (from Tecmo-KOEI) KOEI, please add this characters in the game "KOEI vs. NAMCO" ! I am making this game myself, neither Koei or Namco are involved, this is just a crossover fangame. If it goes over well I will expand on it and add more characters. Even now MKM is playing the demo I gave him. It is very early in production though and at the current rate this game will be done in 5 or 6 months. For now enjoy the screens and post your thoughts or ideas for the game. Also have fun trying to guess the 2 secret bosses.

Id like to say that the graphics are ripped straight from the games , as ive witness , they look good ! The title i like indeed , it does remind me of tekken 3 and 5 somehow lol . I defo think u should put the teaser online , and was there somthing u wanted me too do with it ? --i know the problem ur getting with flea stance move , all will be fixed its sunday and im goin to open CS now and see what more i have to do . how big is the game file ( in megabytes ) , id like to know thnx .

So I hope you are excited about the potential for the game, I know I am learning alot from it and my GFX skills have improved and am doing more graphics for CS that are much better than before. Thanks for your input and I cannot record the trailer, if you could that would be awesome.

I would've done more, but didn't want to mess with it. Anyways your feeling about Tekken 3 & 5 are astonishing considering that the VS in the title is from T5 while the music is frol T3.

It's a pain in the ass because first I have to take stills from the game and try to snap the pics at the exact right time and then import into ms paint and cut out the char for each frame, which is tough becaause of the screen blur. Also I've had to touch up Yoshi dozens of times just to get it as good as I did, no picnic I assure you.
