Question Concerning ROTK8; Execution

~Distuinguished And Noble~ Posts: 127 Group: Members Member #187 Joined: November 30, 2005	I would just like to know if anyone else experiances what I keep experiancing. When I campture officers, and execute any more than one of them, everyone seems to hate me, officers stop joining, and I am stopped if I go to a tavern to talk to officers because I am a "nefarious individual". I was also wondering if there was any way of negating this effect?

Furthering the proof of Ding Feng's resemblance to Mario. Posts: 1,715 Group: Members Member #9,775 Joined: September 18, 2007	Pretty typical. This has always annoyed me about the game. This lone single feature can make execution seem not as fun. The only way I see avoiding this is leaving your character to the AI and come back as him/her again. After you'll notice that your friendships are all gone.

Even your friendships with loyal people or good friends get effected by this unfortunately. The best thing you can do is put a smile on and become really nice and let everyone go as they get captured, so then maybe officers will enjoy 'working' for you. Man the game can get really messed up too. I've seen Liu Bei execute Liu Chan before...

Sure it's easy to not execute, but as a matter of fact it's more useful as it can be seen. What if you capture Lu Bu, he doesn't want to join and makes a lot trouble for your army? I'd only see one way out of that.

You kill that guy, another one rules in his place and the loyality of ALL the other officers drop down heavily so you can easily employ them. Like a chess game, sacrifice one, to catch em all Though that's not something I'd do to Cao Cao ~~or anyone who's kids make 50% of the game's officers~~

I would recruit as many as possible...coz you'd always need a few junk generals to stay in the far size of the borders One day I was playing as Sun Quan and I was able to excute Cao Cao .I then went for Liu Bei and the others untill I was vistited by Cao Pi who wanted to avenge his father .I chose to resist and guess what ? He cut me down !!! Thanx god there are memory cards .

I bet if you add all their children up they'd make up almost 8 % of the characters >_>. But as said before, it brings to many grudges and bad reputations. You kill tens of thousands of troops in one battle, you're squeky clean with everyone. You execute 2 people and 27 different people hate you. Weird.
