It's far more realistic, some more reasonable stats, higher number of events and officers. IMO, it's harder than 10 and 9, battles are fun and can go crazy even though ROTK10's battles were better than this. Differences are alot, some notable ones: Whole demistic system has changed, now you built markets around your city and get gold every season, you don't build enough markets you don't get gold. The same thing applys to food, troops, horses, weapons and seige weapons. Now, even after drafting you need to produce weapons to equip your men with, otherwise they will go with weak swords. This element makes the game more realistic. When marching, your unit can have up to 3 officers and they all will serve as one unite you move all together. You can now make your officers get married or swear and oath of brotherhood together, females can be officers too. Lots of other stuff, these are the things on the top of my head aside the typical stuff of new skills, tactics, unit types and terrians.

Sergeant Posts: 25 Group: Members Member #21,684 Joined: April 15, 2009	I would still recommend 11, coz the debat part is quite interesting ... and how the armys are fighting in small clusters... but I personally like 5 (the music of course..lol) and how you can form different troops... I like 6 in the way when you release the so-called (big move) during combats.. 7 in the way you can take apart as a small officer instead of the king... and how you can collect mystical beasts...

Definetely challenging and the AI is definetely one of the better ones of the series. Foreign tribes do not eat you for dinner as long as you keep Order in check too, unlike in some series's cough cough so that definetely is a plus thing. Gives you alot of options to do in battle and domestics alike. Beware the AP limit though when your nation gets big. Kind of forces you to leave some areas under AI control. If you like strategy turn-based ROTK series where you control a nation, not single officer, definetely give this a go.

Tiger General Posts: 406 Group: Members Member #22,748 Joined: July 10, 2009 Gender Male	ROT3K 11 do have face change for characters like Cao Cao Liu Bei and other but I didn't play 9 but you can do more for edit characters like pick oath sibling for them and other but alot of people say that 9 is the best(My friend said it was) but yeah >.> I like playing 11 and oh if you like a RPG style game then go for Romance of the three Kingdoms 8 or 10(I don't like 7 that much)
