I personally hope Jiang Wei does return though. Come on he is basically Zhuge Liang's successor and one of the spear characters that to me doesn't take the spear fighting to over the top like Ma Chao or Zhao Yun did in DW3 (Come on, spinning like a million times and climbing on spears is alright for looks but I think just spinning while turning the spear is far more useful for juggling for me.) EDIT: And he would make a fine poster boy that isn't too over the top, over athletic or just plain extreme. Edited by xkhaosxmagmusx, Sep 1 2009, 01:22 PM.

KOEI Warriors Faction Founder & KOEI Game Promoter Posts: 865 Group: Members Member #10,622 Joined: October 26, 2007	Most Likely it has to be Jiang Wei since he's the most voted and most missed character of the 7 but if KOEI add none to DW6 XL the the DW6 Series will be the most screwed up series to date and i doubt KOEI want that to happen or else DW7 will go downhill as well if they put no effort into DW6's last Expansion.

Hes really been pushed since he returned in DW6 Empires with him being ported as well into next gen releases of Strikeforce. I think we could also see Zhu Rong return as she was a fan fave, histroically relevant and the others roster is stil light on numbers so DW6 XL like DW3XL feature around the Others cast and their own battle and plotlines which didnt feature in DW6 given the time constraints (and give them an excuse to declone the whole lot of them who are all clones with with at least one other in the game with obvious exception of Lu Bu)

On the main series yeah but they dont usually give him the limelight on XL versions. They usually reserve those spots for the newer characters... DW3 XL was Lu Bu, DW4 XL didnt actually feature anyone and DW5XL was Guan Ping. As such we can expect maybe a new character altogether or perhaps Meng Huo as the latest addition to the next gen DW roster with a rather predicted place in the priority list for a musuo mode with the next game.
