Okay, I've changed the original topic about a request for Gundam sound FX to something more fun. As I have found them now anyway. Okay, this is just a bit of fun really. Basically, if you had the ability to invent your own Gundam, what would it be like? Take into consideration: Colour Design (based on existing Gundams) features (does it transform?) Weapons And whatever else you can think of. Here's mine for example. Mine would be like the Zeta plus A1. But with yellow added into the red and white colour scheme. It would have the shield section of its gun on its right arm to act as a blaster, and the nose cone on the other arm that has a barrel extension and a rocket pod. I think this is an interesting topic...I'll bite. I have a request for a Gundam sig that has this one: Its the SLBXXSH-01 Gundam Airgeadlamh/Airgetlamh, a combination of Nu and God gundam, its a high performance mobile suit that bears the silver hand custom design (Black, white and silver paint). Though mainly a redesigned fusion of the two aforementioned mobile suits, the Airgeadlamh's major difference is the number of prongs on the head crest (five in total). As for features the Airgeadlamh's main weapon, which is ironically is named for the english translation of the mobile suit's name, is the Silver Hand which acts as a combination of close and ranged combat. The hand itself can generate a particle beam sword that can cut through nearly anything known as the Claiomh Solais, or sword of light, the same weapon can also generate a mega particle beam blast with the same total destructive capabilities as the sword but it takes far more energy to do so. In its left hand, the Airgeadlamh can generate a beam shield with the same properties as an I-Field generator or the wings of light, it cannot be destroyed and can be used offensively as well, but it takes even more energy to keep it activated than the sword or beam cannon combined, so it can only be used for a 10 second period. The final feature is the Wings of Sidhe which are generated by the thruster system (Similar in look to the Gundam 00 GN drives but flatter). The wings allow high mobility movement, can be used as weapon, and provide an almost impregnable defense as well. Their appearance is that of two separate sets of angel wings, one pair on top the other set is on the bottom and is turned upside down. As for equipment there are two beam sabers with a recharge pack that is linked directly to the Sidhe Drive, the energy source for the gundam as well as the thruster system, and two hidden beam blades in the wrist armor. The cockpit provides a 360 degree panoramic view of the surrounding environment, but has no seat; The pilot must stand inorder to access the virtual control panel, com unit, and other virtual interfaces that control visuals and pilot communication, which can also be extended to enemy mobile suits by hacking their inferior com units. As for controlling the gundam there are a series of motion sensors and brain wave receptors in the frame of the mobile suit that allow full control, even if the pilot falls accidentally the gundam won't mimic that action unless told so by the pilot's brain waves (similar to the psycommu and psychoframe technologies). Otherwise the Gundam's fighting abilities come from the pilot who moves around as if he is fighting the enemy mobile suit. Thats everything but the pilot! lol P.S. Because it's design was based partly off God Gundam, the silver hand can be used like the burning finger attack, and since it has no hyper mode it just activates the sword in both hands and activates the Wings of Sidhe as its ultimate attack. As a bonus, the Airgeadlamh is a god-type mobile suit and thus has the ability to turn any object into a funnel like weapon as long as a connection between the two objects can be made (two rocks side by side for example can produce a high power particle laser, but the size and power can be increased by adding more objects. I've always had one, the Gundam Hermes Alpha, essentially a Gundam originally designed as a sniper support/fire control mecha for automated mobile suits. The problem being, high-level control of drone mecha using the Mercury System was more or less impossible for most pilots, even low-level Newtypes, they had to rely on AI which wasn't effective. A comm technician, Evangelos Gage, created a stop-gap measure by running the biocomputer feedback back into the main unit, allowing the main unit to react instinctively to battlefield data according to its pilot's fighting style, freeing up mental processes for controlling limited amount of drone MSes, especially the Hermes Gamma, a weakened, GM-style version of the Hermes designed with its own self-feeding Mercury System to further reduce the strain. The Hermes Alpha has the standard Gundam armaments (beam rifle, head vulcans, beam saber) along with a Wing Zero-esque rifle known as the Caduceus Rifle, though where the Zero Laser is a huge colony-killing blaster, the Caduceus uses the same amount of space primarily for focusing mechanisms to create a long-duration, high-focus searing beam designed for carving through enemy mecha in a controlled megaparticle lance, like a beam sword on steroids. Color-wise it's primarily dark green and gold with dark red highlights. |

Yeah, I have been hoping lately for somebody to design the Airgeadlamh as an option for my sig but no one has taken up the challenge yet, far too difficult for some to draw similar but still original parts from the two strongest mobile suits of all time, with some added features. I'll see if I can add more designs later. |

NXG-01 Ragnarok I've had this in my head forever since I'm a trekkie of incorporated some of Star Trek's technology into it making it as far as I can tell the most powerful Gundam in existence. Matter-Anti Matter reactor (Warp Core) capable of powering a propulsion system that can safely via inertial dampers (Strapless seatbelt) and structural integrity fields (Reinforces Ragnarok to prevent it from being torn to shreds at high speed) reach several times the speed of light, defensive shields, ablative armor, also via subspace field generator can carry a great number of weapons by reducing their weight such as shoulder missile/torpedo launchers similar to the Buster Gundam, 4 rail guns two on the shoulders two on the hips, two beam boomerangs, two combinable anti ships swords on the left and right side of the back, beam sabers imbedded in the arms and legs, two phase rifles stored the same as the Strike Freedom and a anti proton rifle twice as powerful as that of Wing Zero’s B.R. stored in the back in-between the two anti-ship swords it also has four wings coming out from the waist up and outward two are for it's Warp drive the other two generate the shields. It’s also equipped with a phasing cloaking device which is different from a normal one this one not only renders Ragnarok invisible but also enables it to pass through solid matter but it can not use it’s weapons or shields while active. It’s palms are equipped with replicator’s that can make anything form in them so long as it’s molecular structure is programmed into the Ragnarok’s computer and it can fit in the palm of it‘s hand link a gun, rifle, knife, sword ect. It is also equipped with a Neural interface that connects directly into the pilots mind enabling the pilot to accesses all of Ragnarok’s systems shields, sensors, engines, weapons… literally pilot with his or her mind but this is an extra thing not used all the time normal Gundam controls but with touch screens for buttons are used most of the time. Since I don’t believe in bright primary colors in space it’s primary color is black while it’s secondary and eye color are crimson red. I’m going to say it takes element’s from the Duel, Buster, Aegis, Destiny, Infinite Justice, Strike Freedom, Sword Impulse, Wing Zero and the USS Defiant. Yeah yeah very nerdy and too powerful…. But it’s MY creation and the ideas for it will always be changing.

To be fair, I used only elements shown in the Gundam series. If we want to just go labelling any old machine a Gundam, I have one you might be interested that uses the high-energy environment of hyperspace to justify an armor that can't be torn apart by any energy in normal space due to its being made of a material which only reaches molten form at speeds in excess of the speed of light. But I'm not interested in calling any ridiculous hunk of mecha a Gundam. I stick to the old-school methods. |

WOW!! ZGMF-X19A Infinite Justice!! Thats a Gundam I'd never want to face.. XD I'm also a trek fan and never really thought about bringing the 2 elements together. Although, I have been thinking about a customised Unicorn Gundam that has an inbuilt Cloacking device that activates when all the panels open up. I'm thinking of using this concept for my second Gundam model kit stop motion. I think it would look really cool.

Hrmmm i haven't put too much thought into this.....but a gundam with an unlimited power source that would make things go pretty wild already.....think about infinite god mode......or infinite transam......geesh.....the potential of what would go on with that...... though that would just defy all logic it's almost like dynasty warriors gundam with a gundam that has infinite SP all the time. XD it be kinda crazy to constantly get hit with buster rifle of heero over and over...... or nu gundam's funnels shooting non stop......x_x;.....If we are talking more realistic..... i'd probably cross over some series of gundams systems..... and such..... for example the original gundam kept learning things.....so it adapted for stuff in combat....if you take that system and mix it with the psycho frame..... and zero system...... it would be a really deadly unit.....also the power source....needs to last quite long.....not sure which series had the gundam with the longest lasting power source but i think seed destiny gundams had nuclear reactors which lasted the longest of all suits which i've seen in every series....... i could be wrong though.... as for the outer layer of the gundam it has to be made of sturdy stuff so it won't go down with a few hits but also it has to be quick.....so i guess fast enough thrusters like the minovsky drive to maneuver and have great mobility........as for weaponry Amuro's Funnels, God Gundams Burning finger able to do his best move of domon as well, weaponry for rifle could be wing zeros buster rifle or strike freedoms twin rifles that can combine one bigger blast..... as for light sabre i prefer the one Epyon was using for it looked nice....and flashy.... as for wing content i'd like victory gundams wings where it can do the wings of light...... as secondary defense without the funnels it has the light shields of victory or strike freedoms gundam..... obviously the pilot has to take good use of these systems and weaponry.....probably best being newtype to deal with funnels and pyscho frame...... i wonder how Amuro, kamille, char, Judau, haman and others would do in sucha machine like this. XD As a precaution can dump out nuclear drive and put in GN drive for Transam Action. Just adding that in there for 00 activity.....and perhaps may be able to do the Moonlight butterfly over the victory gundams Wings of light....Edited by Richie408, Feb 4 2009, 10:33 AM.

Well I know this hasn't been a popular topic for sometime but I thought I should post this before I forget. Its the Airgeadlamh's moveset if it was in DWG2, Enjoy. S1-S4: A series of beam sword swipes from left to right. S5: Cross "X" slash foward. S6: 360 spin, causes shockwave. C1: 3 consecutive Silver Hand beam shots. C2: Backflip kick, knocks enemies into air. C3: Cross "X" dash attack, breaks guard. C4: Silver Hand thrust foward, unblockable and causes shockwave. C5: Counter-clockwise upward spin, dash-cancel combo reccomended. C6: Sciath Solais (Shield of Light) thrust foward, breaks guard. Dash S1-S3: Two left handed beam sword swipes followed by a heel drop that causes a shockwave. Dash C1: Grabs a single mobile suit and detonates it, creating a massive shockwave. Smash Attack: Thrusts the Claiomh Solais (Sword of Light) forward, has long range. Ground SP LV1: Moves foward while slashing side to side with the Claiomh Solais, has long range. LV2: Changes to a moving, rapid spin attack that pulls in enemy mobile suits, does high damage. LV3: Increase sword length and adds and upward spin at the end, still does high damage. Hyper GSP: Longer duration and power up Aerial SP: Activates Wings of Sidhe, flies around while crushing mobile suits with the Sciath Solais either by encasing them in the shield or pounding them into the ground. Hyper ASP: Longer duration and power up Combination SP: Fires massive beam from the Silver Hand while moving from right to left, then it finishes off with the Urchar Grianda (Solar Shot), a massive energy beam (can engulf the Musha Gundams standing on each other's shoulders easily) that causes masive damage even against aces. Has a VERY long duration period. Hyper CSP: Longer duration (if at all possible) and power up. Thats all. |

Oh, I've been waiting for something like this. I've been designing machines in my head ever since I first saw the Shining Gundam. I don't know if there's a posting limit, so I may have to post my profiles in sections. My machines are all based on pre-existing Gundams, so don't expect the most originatily you've ever seen. All my machines have a red primary color with black secondary (except the Molten Gundam, which has the basic Gundam colors)Molten Gundam: Unit Type: Mobile Fighter. Height: 16.7 meters. Weight: 8.2 tons empty (approx 19.34 tons full) Power Source: ultracompact fusion reactor Armaments: -Concealed switchblade x2 -Head-mounted Vulcan Cannon x2 -Beam Saber x2 -Flamethrower x2 Description: The first Mobile Suit built by Evan Eagle. Unlike later units, the Molten Gundam is designed purely as a unit in the Gundam Fights. As such, it is designed with physical combat in mind, and is lightweight compared to later units. Taking design elements from the Shining Gundam, as well as more numerous original design elements, the Molten Gundam was one of the most powerful mechs yet built around the time of its completion. However, it has since been greatly surpassed by the Firestorm series, and even more so by the more recent Gundam Sol. Trivia: -The Molten Gundam is able to transform into a space shuttle. Its upper half can detatch beforehand and transform into a speeder or a small Mobile Suit. -Unlike the Firestorm series and the Sol, the Molten Gundam can overheat. -The Molten Gundam is capable of pulling off a move visually similar to the Shining Gundam’s trademark Shining Finger attack, though not as powerful. Most notably, Gundam Firestorm MK II has on its back two wings inspired by those of both Master Gundam and the original Gundam Wing Zero. Power Source: Heat Overdrive Reactor Armaments: -Sword/Rifle x2, attached to arms as switchblades -Heat/Flame Gauntlet x2 -Head-mounted Vulcan Cannon x2 -DRAGOON Unit x8 -Anti-Ship Broadsword x2, combinable, stored folded on back when not in use -Hip-mounted railgun x2 -Concealed flamethrower x2 -Variable Phase-Shift Armor -Haro-Interface System Description: The final unit of the Firestorm series, not to mention the most powerful, and the first in the Variable series. The Firestorm III is designed to be powerful and extremely fast, but it sacrifices defensive capabilities for this. Although it has few means of increasing its power output, aside from the pilot attaining Hyper Mode, there is not much need, as it already surpasses many other Gundams. Compared to the previous two, the Firestorm III experiences the most difference, lacking several trademark abilities. The arms can no longer extend, the plasma skates have been removed in favor of verniers concealed in more conventional feet, and the ability to transform is absent. However, it still possesses giant switchblades on its arms, concealed in which are powerful Beam Rifles. Also unlike the previous two mechs, which were purely red and black, the Firestorm III has traces of other colors. Perhaps the most amusing feature of the Firestorm III are the two flamethrowers on its head, each hidden behind one of the slits in the “mouthplate”. This lets the mech almost literally breathe fire. The biggest change in armaments is the addition of wings housing a total of eight DRAGOON units. Overall, the Firestorm III takes design elements from Gundams Strike Freedom and Exia, along with one or two from other mechs. It has been rebuilt after it was nearly destroyed in a fight with a machine called Gundam Throne Dreadnought. Trivia: -An interesting aesthetic feature is that the Gundam’s second set of V-Fins on its head curve backward slightly. This is not something seen on any other Gundam so far. -Another, more amusing aesthetic feature is that the eyes sometimes portray exaggerated emotions (for example, if Evan’s eyes become comically giant, so will the Gundam’s). This is also a feature seen on the Sol. -Until it was upgraded, the Gundam Firestorm MK III was the only unit in the Variable series at the time without a GN Drive reactor of any sort. Instead, it ran on raw heat, hence its Heat Overdrive Reactor. This also meant that not only will it never overheat, but also that a pyrokinetic could use their powers to enhance the Gundam’s abilities to its limit, as displayed by main pilot Evan Eagle. -Evan Eagle designed the Firestorm III as a sort of “devil version” of the Strike Freedom (sometimes leading the Firestorm III to be jokingly called “Dark Strike Freedom”), despite being slightly less heavily armed. He has been met with mixed responses. -Of the five Gundams that Evan has built for himself, Gundam Firestorm MK III is the first one that cannot transform, the other being the later Sol. -Although the Firestorm III is extremely fast and agile in the air, in space, and on the ground, it was never designed for use underwater, and is thus extremely cumbersome in that environment. -Where Evan’s previous three units were designed for use in the Gundam Fights, the Firestorm III is designed primarily for Mobile Suit warfare. -Although the Gundam runs primarily on the heat it generates, this provides a problem for startup. -Despite taking the majority of its design elements from the Strike Freedom Gundam, the Gundam Firestorm MK III is incapable of docking with the Meteor System. The Surge Pack is created as a consolation. Now equipped with a GN Drive, the Gundam now has an infinite battery life. There are also some new features, such as the switchrifles being able to open up further for firing a wide beam. The Burst Mode has been replaced with a Trans-AM System, though the Firestorm III’s armor plates still open up. Several of its armaments have been altered, such as replacing conventional anti-ship swords with completely solid blades whose cutting edges are coated with GN particles. At maximum output, it is also capable of generating a set of “wings” made entirely out of GN particles. These become more prominent if the unit’s DRAGOONs aren’t docked. Also, these designs originated from a fantasy world of mine, so I altered the profiles somewhat to fit more with the Gundam metaverse (though perhaps imcompletely) P.S. I like how you based alot of it on G Gundam and you really went in depth explaining how it worked. I kept alot of things secret about the Airgeadlamh so I will translate and explain some terms and background history to this mysterious MS of mine Claiomh Solais: Lit. Sword of Light, the name comes from Irish mythology as the primary weapon of Nuada, King of the Tuatha de Dannan, it was said to have the ability to cut through anything and was said to be the most powerful weapon ever forged. The sword of light that the Arigeadlamh uses is able to do exactly that, cut through any and all things reguardless or their materials, even beam weaponry is not safe. Silver Hand: This is the main ranged weapon of the Airgeadlamh since it has no rifles. The silver hand glows similar to Burning Gundam's Burning finger attack, except with a silver color. It can fire beam shots similar in power to the Sword of Light and can destroy anything that they touch, break beam swords, and pass right through the strongest rifle shots and shields. As a full particle cannon it can decimate several large targets in one shot (Ex. Five colonies lined up in a row), but this attack uses alot of energy and can leave the Airgeadlamh drained if used for too long. As for a melee attack it can deliver a crushing blow to the head of an enemy mobile suit (like the Burning Finger) nicknamed the "Twilight Finger" by those in the Future Century who have fought against it. Wings of Sidhe: Two pairs of white angelic wings sproted from the thruster system of the Airgeadlamh, this high mobility augmentation allows superior movement in Space and on Earth. The feathers of light that fall from the wings are like plasma bombs that detonate if they touch an enemy mobile suit or they can be used in coordination with the power of the pilot, who is generally a GOD-TYPE (See below), to create a massive ring or light to use the strongest attack of the Airgeadlamh: The Urchar Grianda (see below). These same features can be used to defend the Airgeadlamh by forming a 360 shield, or it can be used like normal New type funnels. The Wings also allow re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. Sciath Solais: Lit. Shield of Light. This acts as the primary defense for the Airgeadlamh, like most of the weaponry it cannot be destroyed and can destroy everything else easily but is even more wasteful than the other features combined, only usable for 10 seconds at a time. It can be manipulated into any kind of shape and can be used for offense as well, able to crush enemy MS by encasing them in the shield and compressing the victim inside. Urchar Grianda: Lit. Solar Shot. Known by all who have seen it to be the strongest weapon in the known universe, the Urchar Grianda is the Airgeadlamh's trump card. Using the feathers from the Wings of Sidhe, the Airgeadlamh creates a ring of light that can stretch to unlimited size and fire a beam shot strong enough to destroy a planet sized object by deconstructing the atomic bonds that make up that particular object, leaving only shining dust. The downside is even worse than the Sciath Solais, after it's use all weapon systems shut down, including the beam sabers and recharge pack, but the thruster system and hidden blades in the wrists however continue to work. On top of that it takes time to charge up, leaving the Airgeadlamh open to attack (Thankfully the armor of the Airgeadlamh is stronger than that of the Turn A, having no need to be repaired through nanomachines). The final negative is that it can only be used once per battle, the Airgeadlamh would have to leave and rest for five days before being able to use it again. Sidhe Drive: The main power source and thruster system for the Airgeadlamh, this reactor works by taking in any particles from space or Earth and turning it into raw energy (Minovsky particles are a good example, in fact by absorbing them certain systems aboard U.C. Spaceships will begin to function again). It is the source of all of the Airgeadlamh's weapons as well. Another feature is the auto-lock which prevents pilots of non-Godtype status from using the Airgeadlamh's major weaponry. God Mode: Just as the name states, it is when the pilot (Godtype, remember?) puts the Sidhe Drive into hyper mode, combining the pilot's godtype power with the particles being absorbed, creating unlimited power. This boosts the abilities of both the mobile suit and pilot for a certain amount of time. The effects are: Invincibility, increased speed, increased power overall and increased funnel control (can create a whole field of funnel weaponry and use them accurately). No one has ever survived an attack by the Airgeadlamh in God Mode. Godtype: The final evolutionary stage of mankind, godtypes have abilities beyond reasoning and outclass newtypes in raw power. Unlike most newtypes who have trouble controlling their emotions and can be mentally unstable, godtype's emotions are always in check and under control with no negative side effects. Outside of increased empathy and spacial awareness, godtypes possess all of the same powers of newtypes, but with added bonuses such as the ability to turn any object into a funnel like weapon (even outside of a mobile suit) by placing two or more of that object parallel to each other to create a circuit that generates a particle beam shot similar to a normal funnel or bit. Another bonus is their raw power physically, able to takedown mobile suits and perfom extraordinary feats similar to that of Domon and Master Asia. As pilots they generally have varying skills depending on the person, some have even been weaker than most common human pilots, and being unable to pilot a mobile suit effectively. Other than that there is one downside to the godtype race...there are so few of them in number that they can be counted in single digits lower than eight and normal humans cannot be enhanced to become a "cyber-godtype" since the status of godtype is given at birth and is completely genetic; what denies it even more is the fact that all those of godtype status don't lend their DNA for such an experiment and are generally too powerful to hold captive. Cobalt Gundam Unit type: prototype general purpose mobile suit Accommodation: pilot only, in panoramic monitor/linear seat cockpit in torso Height: head height 13.7 meters Weight: empty 6.2 metric tons; max gross 17.5 metric tons Armor materials: lunar titanium alloy/ceramic composite Powerplant: ultracompact fusion reactor The growing use of beam weaponry in mobile suits, while devastatingly effective, wasn't very cheap or easy to maintain. In order to cut costs on development and design, several Earth scientists began work on a modern mobile suit capable of using traditional munition-based weaponry to nearly as lethal effect as its more technologically advanced cousins. By increasing the muzzle velocity and the size of the rounds fired, they were able to create weaponry that could pierce defensive fields and barriers without having to draw power from its reactor. The first mobile suit to use this experimental technology, the Cobalt Gundam, was soon pressed into combat to test these weapons and theories. Equipment: M8010 Assault Rifle: The main weapon of the Cobalt Gundam, the M8010 rapidly fires large rounds at a very high velocity, which impact with great force on a target. Even Phase Shift Armor is not immune, and a suit so protected will still take damage, albeit far less than normal. It has several firing modes: semi-auto, 3-round burst, and full-auto. An optional scope may be attached to it, or it can be fitted with iron sights. The weapon takes magazines of 30 rounds, and is designed to be compatible with any mobile suit of the Cobalt's relative size. Beam Rifle: The Cobalt Gundam can be equipped with a more standard beam rifle in place of either its M8010, for when combat with mobile suits resistant or immune to conventional weaponry can be predicted in advance, or in place of its M37564, for when damaging or destroying battleships will not be a priority. Its firepower is 10% greater than that of standard mobile suit beam rifles, and it uses E-pacs similar to the M8010's magazines, with the advantage of being able to be recharged in the suit's backpack. Beam Saber x 2: Most mobile suits that equip beam sabers recharge them by placing them into a slot on the suit. The Cobalt, designed to lower the overall costs of mobile suit production, lacks a place to recharge its sabers. Instead, a rack of sabers is kept at the hangar, recharging them and allowing multiple suits to use them interchangeably. The sabers instead attach to small holsters on the sides of the mobile suit, and are activated or deactivated by pressing a button. M37564 Anti-Battleship Beam Cannon: The Cobalt's powerful reactor is put to little use in normal operation. While it can equip a beam rifle in place of its assault rifle, the reactor output remains focused in the suit's thrusters and thus the majority of it ends up wasted as heat exhaust. In order to put this excess energy to good use, this cannon was developed. Focusing the particles into a compacted beam, this handheld cannon fires a beam capable of punching a hole into a battleship. The beam is powerful enough as to be nearly unaffected by beam coatings, and can punch through force fields and barriers in milliseconds, but its unwieldy size and large energy expenditure make it highly impractical against anything smaller than a mobile armor or a capital ship. Shot Puncher x 2: The arms of the Cobalt Gundam are fitted with a hydraulic mechanism that allows the lower arm and fist to extend forward suddenly, vastly increasing the force of any punches the Cobalt throws. Resetting the arms to normal takes roughly the same time as pumping a shotgun, but can be done with springs and thus doesn't require the Cobalt to empty its other hand. This does mean that the punches can be used in a combination attack, but as this would require the suit to get in very close, it is not advised to do this except as a last resort. (IE: when the beam sabers are depleted or inaccessible, and an enemy is in melee range) Shoulder Missiles: A pair of missile launcher pods are mounted on the shoulders of the Cobalt. Firepower is great, but accuracy is unpredictable due to the intricacies of both Minovsky and non-Minovsky physics. Beam Shield: A beam shield may be equipped to the Cobalt's left arm to increase the unit's survivability. Vanguard Gundam Unit type: refined prototype general purpose mobile suit Accommodation: pilot only, in panoramic monitor/linear seat cockpit in torso Height: head height 13.7 meters Weight: empty 6.2 metric tons; max gross 17.5 metric tons Armor materials: lunar titanium alloy/ceramic composite Powerplant: ultracompact fusion reactor The Cobalt proved such a cost-effective design that when the mech was damaged in a sortie, the original designers set about rebuilding it to be even more powerful. Though it is no longer any more efficient than concurrent prototypes and unique machines, it makes up for this by boasting firepower, maneuvering, and defensive capabilities to match the powerful suits it must sometimes fight. Equipment: M8010 Assault Rifle: The main weapon of the Vanguard Gundam, the M8010 remains unchanged from its original design. It is every bit as powerful and penetrating as before. High-Powered Beam Rifle: The Vanguard Gundam also retains the use of a beam rifle as did the original suit. This rifle, however, has been modified to fire a far more intense and penetrating beam. While it uses E-pacs as with the old design, rather than being directly attached to the suit, these E-pacs are still recharged by the suit's powerful reactor. As a result, powerful beams can still be fired at a decent (though not rapid) rate. Beam Claymore: The Vanguard's beam claymore, unlike its predecessor's sabers, can be recharged by the suit's reactor, in a specially-designed "sheath" on the left hip. M37564 Anti-Battleship Beam Cannon: The other major weapon of the Cobalt was also carried over to its successor. This powerful cannon remains largely designed for punching holes in battleships, but it can be used to carve a path through a large group of mobile suits, or deal with a dangerous mobile armor. Shot Puncher x 2: These modules were retained in the upgrade of the Cobalt into the Vanguard, and are unchanged. Shoulder Missiles: These missiles have had their explosive charges increased, and are now more numerous, but have even less powerful guidance mechanisms, rendering them totally useless against countermeasures. Defenses: A beam shield may be equipped to the Vanguard's left arm to increase the unit's survivability. In addition, it can be outfitted with either Variable Phase Shift Armor, or an I Field generator, but not both at the same time. The reactor simply isn't powerful enough to run all this hardware at once. S1-S4: A series of beam saber swipes from left to right, pretty bog standard really. S5: Slash diagonally and turn saber off afterward. S6: Double Shot Puncher, small explosions deal minor splash damage. C1: 3-round burst fire from M8010, x3-5 depending on skill set. C2: Upward slash, can juggle. C3: Single round shot from HPBR, unblockable, causes small shockwave on impact. C4: Draw left saber, swing both horizontally in 225 degrees. C5: Dash forward and Shot Puncher uppercut, press again to follow into the air with an upward slash. C6: Spin in place, full-auto fire from M8010 with shoulder missiles. Dash S1-S3: Diagonal slashes, left-right-left. Dash C1: Shot Puncher, causes grab then toss, damage dealt only on toss. Smash Attack: Shot Puncher-enhanced beam saber slash. Ground SP: Shot Puncher combo, deals heavy damage but only directly in front. Hyper GSP: Adds shockwaves to the combo, improving the crowd control capabilities. Aerial SP: Sustained beam from the M37564. Higher levels increase the duration of the beam. Hyper ASP: Larger beam, finish with a barrage of shoulder missiles. Combination SP: Fires all weapons in a cone in front of the Vanguard. Hyper CSP: Vanguard glows blue-white for duration of SP. Damage doubled, and aura damages nearby enemies. The sad part is, I still have another idea I could post. Then again, at least my mechs don't involve anyone more powerful than a regular old Earth-born Oldtype piloting them. |

The system also works similarly to the zero system from the After Colony period (detailed in Dark History ) however because the system is kept in check till the pilot enters SEED mode and is completely focused on the battle the side effects related to the system are suppressed. Wings of Fire An improvement over the wings of light used by the ZGMF-X42S Destiny however while in looks they appear the same the wings of fire are in fact beam weapons that not only improve the speed of the mobile suit but also can be used to cut though other mobile suits. Moonlight Butterfly Reverse engineered from an captured enemy Mobile Suit known as the Turn A gundam. Though the Turn A was eventually retaken by the enemy ZAFT scientists had all ready gained the knowledge need to replicate the Moonlight Butterfly and realising that the only way to protect them self from the Turn A was to have there own Moonlight Butterfly equipped machine, to do this they placed the technology into there 4 prototype TURN series mobile suits. SINs Moonlight Butterfly appears in the form of long threads of light that are designed to seek out enemies and destroy them. Cockpit The SIN is equipped with a special cockpit seat that uses spine impulse sensors in the seat which pick up the pilot's will. This lets the machine work at the same speed of the pilot thus creating a 0 response time between the pilot and the MS Nano machines The Sin like the turn A can use Nano machines to repair its self and its pilot One of Four prototype units designed by ZAFT to combat the unknown fleet that attacks the earth sphere in CE79. it is designed using reverse engineered technology from a captured enemy Mobile suit and unearthed mobile suit designs from a black library discovered on the moon. The machine its self makes use of the same armour of the unknown MS dubbed FE type as well the same I-field Beam Drive System for Propulsion. However the machine does have its own micro thrusters placed all around its body to allow for omni directional thrust. Its weapons are pretty standard it carries 2 beam sabers stored on hips and 2 high beam rifles the beam rifles can be combined to form a rephaser rifle with strength comparable to the Requiem and GENESIS. The machine is given to Zeik Hibiki after his ZGMF-X666S Legend is destroyed while engaging in combat with Admiral Ghingnham’s Turn X. Zeik would sortie in the SIN during the final defense of earth challenging and defeating Ghingham and critically damaging Turn X in final duel on the Moon’s surface. To Cronocke: Go ahead and post any ideas you get...but don't get me wrong, I stated in my other posts that my MS is based on God Gundam and Nu gundam so it is technically a super robot type (that follows its own rules) but the size and appearance of a Gundam...plus I forgot that some of the negatives are alot worse than previously stated so I have to change them: 1. Urchar Grianda cannot be used for over a year after use, but the sidhe drive will turn back on after a short period of time has elapsed. 2. If the limit for any weaponry connected to the sidhe drive is up and is still trying to be used it can cause serious damage to the mobile suit and even kill the pilot. 3. Even though the armor is strong an electric current can still be used to attack the pilot directly 4. After God mode is used, both pilot and MS are severly weakened...that goes for all of my godtype pilots and MS's This is all in good fun anyway...I know they would never make this sort of mobile suit in Gundam...its common knowledge. I only wanted to air out my mind so I stop dwelling on the idea. However I do like yours, I'll post my real ones if you post yours...plus it doesn't matter who pilots it, just post lol MSW-07 Omega Gundam Type: Knight Class 1 MS Timeline: Anno Domini Height: 20.00 Meters Weight: 30.00 Tons Armor: Gundarium (Titanium suited for MS's) Thruster/Powerplant: Cold Fusion Reactor/Solar-powered Generator Paint Scheme: Orange and Gold Pilot: Edward Hartman (Status: Oldtype [By U.C. standards]) Appearance: By looks it's similar to the Strike Freedom, but it's cockpit and head completely contradict this as the former is more human like, the mouth is similar to Zeta and the eyes are a bright orange. Issued by the European Union in 2536, the Omega Gundam was the first knight class MS unit to be equipped with a cold fusion reactor which was a supplement to the limited output of the solar generator. Though it possesses high combat statistics, it was never put into mass production like so many before it due to the cost of producing numerous CFR's, so it remained a stand-alone unit long after the fourth world war. As a fighting unit it surpassed most MS's at the time in both long-ranged and close-ranged combat, but had issues with it's low armor, whereas many of the Russian and Chinese forces had far stronger armor, which had long been a deterent for enemy troops. However, it's powerful weaponry made piercing enemy armor easy, the best example is the Omega Spiral Cannon which, by using a rotating beam, could essentially act like a drill and burrow through almost any armor it hit. Wow, that is one powerful suit you made there Blackfreedom, combining the science of Turn-A with the power of SEED, nice indeed! Even Patrick might not be so lucky against that if it uses it's Moonlight Butterfly.Well, I'll give one a shot, wont be as impressive as some, but alot more unique in the Gundam universe (hopefully). Codename: HIHI-04 Joy Gundam/LR Colours: Main base is Gold, details such as the 'Gundam Diamond' and armour protecting the cockpit will be green, little details like the 'Horns' with be white. Cockpit: A chair, and the only other thing is a button which if pressed releases nanomachines through a large vent in the back of the cockpit, that connect to the pilot. Powerplant: Minovsky type ultracompact fusion reactor, output rated at 9400 kW Fixed armaments: Shield x2, Head Vulcans Optional weapons: Anything the pilots feels like picking up. Special Attack: Sound of Light/Sorrow. Unable to move if one of these attacks is used. Sound of Light - Using the nanomachines to connect the pilot with the suit, Minovsky Particals and nanomachines are sent out and disable other machines. More Particles are sent out according to the pilots emotion, the stronger the emotion, the more sent out. The particles can be controlled and focused only by Newtype intuition. Sound of Sorrow - Using the nanomachines to connect the pilot with the suit, Minovsky Particles and nanomachines are sent out and take the shape of a Mobile Suit. This 'suit' acts in according to the Newtypes command, and uses a Beam Saber to attack other suits. Pilot: Lye Rik (as you can tell, I totally made this guy up): A singer from his era, gets hold of the HIHI-04 and modifies it to his liking. Showing his emotions though song, protects those close to him. A little Macross, but hey, tis unique in Gundam. EDITTINGS: Tried to make a picture for it. hmmmmm....I like it...I saw macross a while back but couldn't get into it. However I do know that there were some transforming mecha. As long as we start getting more people posting I don't care what the design is based on, just have fun As for the pilot, its always nice to see original characters, now I want to mention that my first guy's name is changed in it's pronunciation (Tear-ek Sill).

Well it's redesign time NXGG-01 Ragnarok (NeXt Generation Gundam) Design takes elements from the Freedom, Nu Gundam, Buster, Verdi Buster, Wing Zero, RX-78-2, Zeta, Infinite Justice, Hyperion, Destiny, and Sword Impulse. It starts with the basic design for a Gundam with the addition of wings similar to that of the Freedom and Strike Freedom it has 5 wings on each side the lower four of each side houses DRAGOON's that function in much the same way as Nu Gundam’s funnels in that they can both shoot, be controlled by Newtype power, and can emit a shield while the top two act similar to that of Freedom's "Balaena" plasma beam cannon's but have been replaced with a modified version on Wing Zero's buster rifles. It has both head and chest mounted CIWS (Close Interception Weapons System) basically machine guns. In between the wings and to the left and right of the main engine are two combinable anti ship swords similar to that of the Sword Impulse. It's shoulders house rocket pods capable of shooting 10 small high yield rockets each similar to that of the Buster while behind the shoulders house one beam boomerang each similar to the Sword Impulse. It has two combinable beam rifles similar to the Strike Freedom, and two beam combat knives stored in it’s hips similar to that of the Hyperion. It’s cockpit is located in the same area as the Freedom while below that is a miniaturized version of a positron cannon. It’s legs and arms are the same as the Infinite Justice’s in that they can emit beam sabers. It is also equipped with state of the art sensors capable of detecting object's through both heavy Minovsky partial density and mirage colloid. It is also equipped with state of the art computer systems such as improved learning and bio computer’s, and a Destiny System that is basically a more defined Zero System that can now also transmit instructions to other mobile suit pilots to either aid them or give them false information. It is made from Gundanium alloy and reinforced with variable phase shift armor. It is powered by a top of the line ultra compact fusion reactor. It’s primary color is black with it’s joints and wing tips red it also has Destiny’s Wings of Light system that produces afterimages and gives off a blood red color. Now it's time for Omega's moveset: S1-S2: Two right handed beam saber swipes. S3-S4: Twor left and right roundhouse kicks. S5-S6: Forward stab and dash attack. C1: 3 consecutive beam rifle shots. C2: Shield uppercut followed by shield beam cannon shot. First breaks guard, the second is unblockable. C3: Double shield bash, first attack breaks guard. C4: 180 degree shield beam cannon sweep. Guard breaker. C5: Jumps into the air and fires shield cannon downward. Guard breaker C6: Fires Omega Spiral. Unblockable. Dash S1-S3: Two right handed beam saber strikes followed by a left beam saber thrust. Dash C1: Solar Fin flash, flash of light that has surprising range. Smash Attack: Dashes forward with shield held in front. Ground SP: Combines both beam swords together and spins them rapidly while moving forward and using the solar fin flash. Hyper GSP: Increased power and duration. Aerial SP: Splits shield in half, firing both cannons seperately along with the Omega spiral at max. Hyper ASP: Increased power and duration. Combination SP: Solar dash; Now in overdrive, the Omega moves in split seconds, using it's solar fins to cause massive shockwaves where it stops. It finishes with a large explosion. Hyper CSP: Increased power and duration There you have it. |

The machine its self makes use of the same armour of the unknown MS dubbed FE type as well the same I-field Beam Drive System for Propulsion. The Freedom can use Nano machines to repair its self and its pilot (not that Kira needs it) they can also be used to rebuild shot down or damaged DRAGOONs The True Freedom was designed as an update for the now outdated and underpowered Strike Freedom. Most of the weapons power has been increased with the rail guns now able to penetrate Phase shift with little to no problem. There are now three large wings on each side each housing 4 micro DRAGOONs. The wings however are much thinner then the original strike freedoms these redesigned wings now hold 24 micro DRAGOONS that are around half the size of normal DRAGOONs and can move 3x as fast as a normal one also they can project an anti beam barrier by linking up 3 or more DRAGOONs finally 2 DRAGOONs can make a beam between them that can be used as a slicing weapon. The Balaena have been added back and are in between the wings and where the engine (thrusters) was (engines aren’t needed since it uses the I-field beam drive system) while the new twin buster rifle is stored on back between the balaenas. Like the rest of ZAFTs TURN type suits the True Freedom also uses the Moonlight Butterfly. True Freedoms Moonlight Butterfly appears in the form of long threads of light that are designed to seek out enemies and destroy them while using the Freedoms lock on system to increase the amount of threads that are released. The Freedom also makes use of the SEED burst system once active the freedom glows white and gold and gains several new abilities these include being able to teleport across short distance and teleport its beam weapons shots The final incarnation of the Freedom is given to Kira Yamato in the last days of the war. Kira would sortie in the True Freedom during the final defence of earth and engages against the Turn A Gundam. The Freedom along with the other 3 machines and there pilots whereabouts after Mu uses the damaged Turn A’s Moonlight Butterfly to reset humanity and destroy the attacking fleet is unknown. Just adding that in there for 00 activity.....and perhaps may be able to do the Moonlight butterfly over the victory gundams Wings of light....
I've been designing machines in my head ever since I first saw the Shining Gundam. I don't know if there's a posting limit, so I may have to post my profiles in sections. My machines are all based on pre-existing Gundams, so don't expect the most originatily you've ever seen. All my machines have a red primary color with black secondary (except the Molten Gundam, which has the basic Gundam colors)
