If you're worried about it not working then just buy it first and check if it does, most stores have a 7 Day Refund Policy (make sure with the store before purchasing) so you could just return it if it presents problems. And plus that saves you having to unnecessarily pay for the rent fee. |

ok, thanks. i'll probably goto gamestop and get it, cause i plan on collecting the entire warriors series for the ps2 someday.. except the empires game, because i tried DW4 empires and i just couldnt figure it out... |

Okay. I bought SW2: XL......and I've had lots of fun playing as Toshiie. Dude is a beast w/ ice. I guess my question is that there really any point to getting SW2 with this game? I originally planned to get it to play the remaining SW2 cast.........but I saw that I can play/lvl up all the SW2 cast on Free mode. I don't know if it's worth keeping SW2 when it comes.... |

With just XL you wouldn't be able to play through any one else's story modes aside from the new characters. |

You can't get 4th and 5th weapons for original SW2 cast either. But if you don't care about them and you don't mind playing Free Mode, then SW2XL is all you need to enjoy the game. |

Hey there. Got a quick question for everyone. I live in the UK and have a UK 360 and had Samurai Warriors 2 from the start and dowloaded XL as soon as it was available. Loved playing the game and the new characters and everything. Now I planned to go back and play the game recently, since the dashboard update, but it now only plays as Samurai Warriors 2! I checked that the XL extension was still there and it is, I've tried redowloading and also installing Samurai Warriors 2 onto the hard drive and redownloading but still nothing. Strange thing is, in your 'recently played games' part on the 360, it puts it down as Samurai Warriors 2:XL. I'm kinda getting frustrated with this. Any suggestions? Claris44 |

I've got the same problem as Claris44; is there some trick to getting XL to work on the 360 or something? I've only gotten to play XL twice since I've owned SW2 on the 360, and it only worked when there was absolutely NO SW2 data on my 360 prior to download. This problem's been annoying me for years. Is there any particular reason why SW2 XL won't load on the 360 or is it just a bug?

Question......... Do I have to import the SW2 disc to XL for story mode everytime I load up my PS2? It looks like I have to.........I even saved. |

You can only obtain the XL version of SW2 by downloading it off Xbox Live for 2400 Microsoft Points. I assume your quadruple post was due to lag and I'll delete the excess. |

Can anybody help me. When i try to swap the disk its always work. And i can get three or two old char from SW2 their 5th weapon. BUt when i get to the third or fourth person, it just hanged. Can anybody tell me why ? |

Yesterday, I completed Oichi's story. With that, I've currently completed three Campaigns; Sanada Yukimura, Akechi Mitsuhide and Oichi. Who should I play next? How many levels are there in a character's Mercenary Mode? I just started playing SW2XL and I leveled Keiji up from level 50 to 70 after playing though Level 14 on Mercenary Mode. I was thinking that if there are only 20 levels per character in Mecernary Mode that I would just play though with Keiji and then reset him. If it is unlimited like Survival Mode or has more stages I may reset now and play though again. I don't know, I didn't feel like reading though this entire thread just to see if anyone commented on it and if I had and didn't find anything I'd feel like it was a waste of time. So anyway, forgive my laziness if you feel that way about me. I'm just looking for a quick answer, thanks!

IIRC, I believe its 100 total stages if you want to collect all of the precious swords, otherwise, you can end it sooner by uniting the land under one daimyo. |
