The playable mobile suits in this game can be categorized into 3 classes. Class 1 Mobile Suits These MS have complete movesets. They have up to 6 attack strings and charge attacks*, and they can cancel dash if any charge attacks hit the enemy. They have 3 dash attack strings and 1 dash charge that is executable anywhere in between the dash attacks and can be connected with cancel dash, though it is advisable to launch SST for optimum combo. They also have a smash attack which is very useful when fighting a MA boss. And finally, they have 3 kinds of SP attacks: Normal SP, Aerial SP, and Combination SP. The higher the SP level, the longer and more powerful the SP attacks are. *At first you can only use 4 attack strings & charges, but as the pilot levels up you will be able to use C5 and C6. All returning playable MS from the first game and the newly added main Gundams are categorized here. In order for other pilots to use these MS, they will need to clear the License missions for these MS first. Class 2 Mobile Suits These MS only have up to 4 attack strings and charges. They do not have smash attacks and only 1 dash attack without dash charge. Their SP attacks also only use 1 SP level, though on the bright side, this allows you to launch consecutive SP attacks if your SP level is more than 1. Most MS that are categorized here are non mass-produced MS piloted by less major pilots. Class 3 Mobile Suits These MS have very basic movesets. They have up to 8 attack strings, but only 1 charge attack. They also only have 1 dash attack. And like Class 2 MS, their SP attacks only consume 1 SP level. Most mass-produced grunt MS are categorized here. And this will be the template for each MS. Note that the buttons used are using the PlayStation layout.

Times of Musou for class 2 and class 3 Fight: Attack power Shot: Shoot power (anything to do with the gun Defence: defence of the mobile suit Armor: Mobile suit's HP Mobility: Mobile suit's running speed / dashing speed Thruster: dashing length There are 5 bars below these status, these are the attachment to your parts you can attach items such as I-Field and so on to increase the strength and defence of your mobile suit. since my japanese is not all that good, I cannot list the attachments to you. Yeah, unfortunately the Zeong returned to space-only unit here. But perhaps its ground appearance in GM1 Original mode was to describe that the gravity in that red planet is lighter than Earth's gravity so the likes of Zeong can hover there?  And now that you mentioned it I kinda wish they put in Perfect Zeong here... >.< |

That's... actually a very good story reason for allowing the Zeong in those parts. Oh man, the Perfect Zeong. About the only MSV design I want to see make it into the GM/DWG series somehow. If they do put it in, they need to make it the proper height (30 meters yeaaaaaah) and give it the sword. |

a question about official mode "rank 4 unlocking",when we done it,does it give any popup message that we can now find rank 4 parts for that suit anywhere?i played char's official today and i've babysitted roberto and apolly 24/7 in space and jaburo,i didn't get any message about it though,although i got a rank4 for hizack in one of the later missions.......

the space mission has emma riding rick dias!!!!! unfortunately,i know that>.< err....so if she didn't make it she won't appear in the jaburo stage?i'm pretty sure emma managed to escape too in space,the only one left when i fight jerrid was kamille,the others managed to escape,but emma doesn't show up in jaburo so i only protected the other 2 rick dias there..... |

okay,i'll try those,just got some really awesome hyaku shiki parts after consecutively fighting him in all 3 gundam fight tournament(piloted by sleggar,beecha,and THEN char~err quatro),so it think it would be way easier to do now.... |

ok, a couple of cuestion, i barely have 60 hours playing, but as i do not know jap, i do not know a lot of things.Besides, there is no FAQ yet. 1.- How to UNLOCK the mission to get the "unlock Rank 4" parts???? i mean, WTH should i have to do to "unlock" that mission on my EXTRA Mission menu??????? with kira (since is the one who has almost all the skills 2 I did amuro-char just first (1) official mode, and y did kira, atrun,shin, story mode of the three, i have kira on level 50 and answer the two quiz (normal, and advance) and, recently unlock 4 rank parts of the Strike Freedom, so, wich is the best mission to get the part of the musou rank 4??? y have lucky skill and Tech level 10. 3.- How do i get Musha MK-II and Musha Gundam?????? i mean, how the heck should i have to be friend of all??????? i have no friendship mission for MAster Asia,Jerid,KAmille,Hamman, etc, just have a few mission of a few characters (and i have like 45 missions) 4 if i play with kira, and be friend of milliard,puru, and domon, i know i'll get the 4 or 5 mision of requeriment for Musha's. But this will be unlock for all characters or just kira???? what i'm trying to say is..... the friendship stay where there are no matter the character???? for example: kira gets friendship of 1,2,3, teams of the past game (GM), and team 1 is amuro-char. if i start playing with amuro, the level of trust will be the same with kira because the levels of kira????[ on his relation info]???? i hope someone undesrtand me. and someone can help. thx .  |

To unlock rank 4 parts for everyone requires a huge relationships with i think up to 40 pilots. There are a lot of extra missions that all are set to hard mode that you have to finish. Once you unlock the last extra mission called True Gundam Warrior in japanese that's when you beat it and you'll now be able to get rank 4 parts through missions for your Class one mobile suits doesn't mean oh i just get them all right from beating the mission. As for licensing and flying other pilots and such you'll only unlock musha for just one pilot. I believe what you did to get strike freedoms parts was just the individual mission to get rank 4 parts just for that particular mobile suit. Every original pilot meaning ones that flew gundam has a mission that unlocks just their suits rank 4 pieces. To be friend everyone is quite tough you'll have to keep playing and finally get those characters into your relationship log. After playing 100 missions cumulatively with one of your pilots you'll unlock a lot of these free missions that state like 10, 50, 100, 300, 1000 and 10000, 20000, 50000 stuff like that. After beating 7 of these missions the quiz will unlock. The quiz will show up in the terminal and you can replay it by going to your terminal and selecting it by pressing R1 but this is for ps3 version not sure if it's same menu in ps2. The quiz gives you friendship points for all your pilots that's the easiest way to get everyone all to gain relationship with you by doing the quiz over and over. It's quite tedious but it works. Unlocking musha by doing all those missions just gives you access to do the license you still have to do this individually with every pilot as well if they wish to pilot Musha. The relationships are different for everyone they do not relate to one another so basically it's like playing all over again you can tell just by going into the pilots relationship log notice right from the beginning there is no pilots with any relationship with your character. Very important thing to mention pretty much you would need to have a pilot with good relationship with all 50 pilots i've confirmed this that musha can't be unlocked until everyone seemlingy is at your best relationship.....another thing is an extra mission needed to have true gundam warrior unlocked also requires to have a pilot have all licenses.....so that means all your 30 license missions must be completed. Kite, it might help if you put in which pilots are in which MS (by default), as it might help others who aren't really sure of certain things. I assume just something like 'Name: The O, Pilots: Paptimus Scirocco' wouldn't take too long. It'd take me five minutes if I knew myself which pilots were in which Suits, I don't have the game though  Non-playable Pilots should also be added if you can remember anything about them.Just trying to help

I too am curious about the Hyaku Shiki rank 4 parts. I was going through the mode for the first time just now, did not save Emma in mission 4, but saved Roberto and Apolly. Saved both Rob and Apolly in mission 5, then went back to 4 and saved all three Rick Dias pilots. I didn't really see a pop-up after I saved, I don't think, unless it came in a small rectangle box.Is there any way to tell if my MS has rank 4 part access already, or should I re-do mission 5?Does Emma appear on mission 5 if you save her in mission 4? EDIT - One more thing, how do I get M'Quve to survive until the end of Char's Texas colony mission?I've tried conquering all of the fields, but I'm too slow, I've also tried ambushing Amuro when he spawns, but the Gundam/Gyan fight triggers anyway and M'Quve dies Edited by mogwaimon, Jan 18 2009, 11:54 PM.

Well I'm thinking if you start collecting rank 4 pieces by finishing up missions then you'll obviously of course unlocked it already. Personally I just went off beating true gundam warrior to unlock all rank 4 parts for class one units. I could easily do any of the missions and unlock them the regular way too but it's kind of lenghty in trying to figure what i'm suppose to do and that in a way ruins the fun for me because I'm forced to play in a certain manner in which i don't like. I just like to clear fields beat up ace pilots and move on not grind it out everywhere. XD As for M queve i suggest speeding over to where he would end up dying...i'm pretty certain it's in the same area all the time....sometimes its best to do some upgrading and attachment changing in mission modes to help you get faster boosts in thrusters and stuff..then go back to challenge this task.. Actually, I managed to nab Hyaku Shiki and Gundam Mk II's rank 4 parts, the requirements are basically the same and I got Gundam MK-II pretty much automatically in Kamille's official mode, so I repeated the process for Hyaku Shiki. As for M'Quve, I can't just rush to him. What happens during the battle is you start in the SE corner, few fields around you. I take out the fields, M'Quve and a field spawn in the NW. Then a lot more fields spawn, text encased in a green box appears and all the fields start flashing, then I start to take over the fields. I am able to take 3-4/6 of them before Amuro spawns in M'Quve's field and auto-kills him. Even if I go directly to his field and start beating on Amuro, he still gets auto-killed. Only other solution I can see is to take all the fields before this happens, but I don't think my Char is strong enough to do that yet on hard mode, which is why I was looking for input in case I was wrong in my assumptions |

@mogwaimon I've tested clearing all the fields ASAP on easy, and as soon as I cleared the last field Amuro appears but didn't kill M'Quve immediately. But unlike the Hyaku Shiki & Gundam Mk-II I didn't get Gelgoog's R4 parts afterwards so for that one it might be hard-only after all. @Osiris Hmm... You know, I was actually going to add pilot names on it, but as you get deeper to the game, the MS-pilot combinations become more random. You know, from Zeon pilots riding Gundam, Char using Jagd Doga, to even Heero piloting V2. So I don't know where to start. @.@ But if you mean the original pilots of the MS, I can still manage that. ^.^ |

Yea, for the Gelgoog parts, it is Hard only for the objectives. Thanks for the tip, though...I tried again, this time using the Hyaku Shiki rather than the Gelgoog...almost had all the fields, but Amuro spawned and mauled M'Quve. I think I'll just wait until after I do Char's CCA mode and try again. |
