Having not played the game myself, I gotta ask, is there the "Lu Bu like character" in this one as well? You know, strong towering man, has own theme song, feared on the battlefields in this game? I mean I know you can't control the heroes themselves, I'm just wondering. |

The Merc with the best reputation on the game is Henry Percy (surely?), but nah, there's no one quite like Lu Bu/Tadakatsu/Musha on this game, unfortunately. I don't think a character like that would particularly work though, it's VERY difficult to strengthen your character via armour and weapons, and you'd probably end up getting killed by him nearly every time you played him. I think I've played a good 15 hours of the game so far (got it a couple of months ago) and I'm still stuck on 2 stars of fame, I don't think I'd stand a chance. |

The way I see it is, the ingredients of the "Lu Bu of a Koei game": 1. Needs to be famous in history and feared on the battlefield 2. Needs to have a theme song 3. Needs to have a powerful in-game moveset It seems Koei never put someone in the uber league due to the fact that BS isn't the average HacknSlash Koei game. Joan of Arc and Edward III do have their own respective themes, but they are far from being classified to be in the uber league IMO. |

No, on certain stages story NPC's are like Lu Bu, but on any other battle they are all equal. |

There isnt a definate Lu Bu style character, but the one that might get close to it would be perhaps the legendary Mercenary John Harkwood. He has that legendary status that is higher than those that you guys mentioned before, Percy, Hal, La Hire, and any of those others who seem strong, they would be probably be put to a level like that of Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, Zhang Liao etc. The thing was Harkwood though, is that you only get to see him very late in the game, and even then you barely see him

Well, there definitely isn't one in game then, but what about from a historical point of view during THYW? I'm sure there are other people who haven't been shown in BS yet. |

There weren't many important people during THYW, there can't be anyone else equivalent to Lu Bu...

Well...since characters such as Branwyn, Iamarl and Philipa are all fictional characters...what about if a new Bladestorm was to be made...a fictional character with who could be the equivilant of Lu Bu. Other than that, I dont think there could be anyone who actually could be like that
