Get serene mind and DG Cells from God and Master Gundam DG cells will heal you gradually, and serene mind will allow you to spam sp Raise your pilot's level above 40 Also if you got another license, use another Gundam IMO Destiny's moveset is too slow You can try Master,God Gundam,F91,Turn A,Nu Gundam,or Quebeley Oh and Overdrive can help too, with ms that have a good Combination SP And also the skill that can make fighting ace easier will really help I haven't finished any extra mission Because i haven't get DG Cells My Pilot is Scirocco lv 42,but still haven't got any luck to unlock that |

i'm using Heero yuu, i'm max at lvl 50 now. i'll try getting the DG cell and serene mind. does serene mind raise the sp bar faster in GM 2?? it's rather slow in GM 1, so i haven't leared it yet. i'll also try changing gundam. i've also tried another combo, i set the skills A Machine Matches Thousand, Ace Pilot and Fighting Instinct. i get my kill rate up to 1000++ and finally manage the clear one 7 bar hard stage, but almost died a few times and had to run away from the enemy. and thanks again, i'll give it a try and some feed backs later. |

If you use heero yuy,use another ms Destiny is designed for melee why don't you try his wing zero,or maybe quebeley wing zero's sp is powerful for wing zero use overdrive and you can use your double sp to wipe everything in one field oh and I dunno about serene mind in GM1,I haven't know that skill is so important yet in GM2 its quite fast, when you move to another field, usually it will fill one bar btw,in what console are you playing this game? I'm playing in PS2 oh and i'm starting to play with 360 Edited by steven_nikita, Jan 6 2009, 05:17 AM.

I've manage to get serene mind and noticed that it fills a lot faster in GM 2. now i'm trying to get DG cell, only 10% chance of learning it. I used Heero cos i like Wing a lot, too bad astray red frame isn't in it or it'll be my primary unit. actually skills and attachments are rather important. i'm also gonna change the Airmaster attachment away since the enemy pilot always escape out of my air combo. I'm playing this game on PS3. Manage to get almost all license except for Musha and Musha MK II. I've tried the overdrive method for Wing, it's good for clearing out fields but the enemy ace pilot will always escape out of the Sp attack. in extra stages, the main problem is the enemy ace pilot. So i tried another skill setting: High Tension, Serene Mind and Fighting Instinct. Attachment : Minovsky Drive, Pressure, Armor Gain, Hard Strike, Penta Drive. I manage to clear another extra stage but I'll change some of the attachment, from hard Strike to Snipe and Penta Drive to Bio Computer, since I rely mostly on SP attack in this configuration using Wing. I'll try it and give some feed back. Edited by sion13, Jan 6 2009, 06:41 AM.

I've tested some combination of skills and attachments, and i've found one which is rather decent. Skills: DG Cell, Serene Mind and Fighting instinct. Attachment: Minovsky Drive, Pressure, Armor Gain, Hard Strike or Snipe, and Bio Computer. just don't get hit by a super sp attack, you'll never get killed. DG cell replenish armor at an unbelievable speed, as long as you are not using dash, your armour will replenish even while you're attacking. Serene mind let you use sp attack at a fater rate. Fighting instinct will prevent you getting combo by an enemy pilot, you can hit him while his attacking. i manage to plow through a 7 bar hard stage using this setting, i don't think it'll be any tougher in a 8 bar hard stage. also thanks for those who shared their suggestions with me. |

Oh I forgot about fighting instinct... Recently,I fought Nu Gundam and OMG it uses its C6 over and over again..I'm using The O (My favorite).. I already have DG Cells and Serene Mind and the other skill I use is Overdrive Overdrive is really useful even in those hard stages.I killed a Devil Gundam when its weakened first time with level 2 of The-O's combo SP. I think Fighting instinct is maybe the answer to fight Nu Gundam, because i keep getting juggled (HP can't recover) and suddenly it uses its SP... |

Fighting instinct is not without flaws also. not much on the decrease in defense, it's when you lose a deadlock, you'll literally be a sitting duck for enemy to attack when in power down condition cos fighting instinct is still in effect and you'll not be juggled in mid air and take full damage of the attacks. |

Finally i manage to beat the last extra stage where you have to fight musha and musha Mk II. i used DG cell, serene mind and ace killer and lots of interim saves. i have to use hit and run tactic to complete this stage. if anyone have a better idea of tackling this stage please share with me. |

Well if you got the Ps3 now there is True Gundam Warrior Space version lol so you get to try your tactic all over again....for some reason I don't think ace killer works at all it seems to make lil to nothing difference....so dunno why but that's just how it is. |

i can tackle any extras on 7* hard and above so far with many class 1 MS,the key is AIR COMBO,i didnt even use DG cells(since sometimes it will make you die in 1 hit, especially against MA's) i usually use worthy rival(yes,i'm insane,i never put this skill away until i got best buddies with everyone, which i finally did),serene mind, and either overdrive or high tension for extra stages if you time it really precise, even the hard mode AI cannot escape the air combo, the key is airmaster+boost drive+minovsky, this applies to most class1 MS(aside for several few like turn A,nu gundam, and wing zero which has slow air charges) it does more damage than just spamming SP attacks 24/7,plus its not cheap, since you need skills to do it,if you randomly time the attack the hard AI will just recover out of it it has limits though, especially if you launch them, they can somewhat escape if you go too high up,and you do it on the ground you will most likely mess up the timing if you meet a wall while dash cancelling.. |

well, i do not have much problem with 7* hard and some 8* hard stage, it's just the last 8* hard stage where after completing you unlock all rank 4 parts for class 1 MS. that stage is really really hard, AI takes little damage and we take much more, and after you defeat one ace, the rest of the AI ace will come and gang up on you. i have to run away quite a number of times to recover health. it's sad but doesn't have much choice. i don't wan to start over again. |

The easiest method i found for beating the ultra tough True Gundam Warrior is having these skills , Instant hero, Ace Pilot and DG cells....the reason why i use dg cells in particular is I hate getting pegged by the annoying mobs of suits that's usually what kills me over the ace pilots or musha Gundam....besides musha's sp attack which if I avoid I tend to always prevail on this mission. The strategy i use is try to get my shot count extremely high somewhere around the 2000+ barrier how to do so just go to the map with an ace since if you don't kill it then it will keep respawning other mobile suits just keep regaining your sp attack and killing units and of course run away from the ace...i didn't even have a problem running away from 4 aces at once doing this....I happened to use a MS with good sp that spreads....for example Zeong has a good spread attack sp so it clears out mobs easily plus instant hero helps boost it's attack ability substantially. I've posted previously how good this tactic works for like I said 4 aces were after me and once I reached this kind of shot count and such with this particular suit i was able to handle all 4 at once with sp attacks and refilling sp attack for a rerinse...you'll start to notice your sp attack does almost 1/6th of the Ace's hp and usually you hit pretty much multiple ace's with the sp attack..... I did this same method on Musha and Musha Mark II gundam piece of cake I was so surprised how fast i was able to finish the mission too I think even under an hour...in comparision to my previous runs....with other strategies. Reason I chose Zeong though was because I knew instant hero would help this particular mobile suit a lot plus it has a range melee attack so I don't need to get that close to any ace pilot to do damage. Also it's square square triangle attack works pretty good i tend to time the third hit of the triangle to hit ace pilots when they are coming near me and it does a lot of damage too once you have the shot count in the 2000s. Forgot that attachment wise pretty much I had none with usuage and was still able to do this easily with just those skills. Edited by Richie408, Jan 19 2009, 11:13 AM.

Man, the more I hear about the Zeong, the more I want to get this game. Why are you so far away, March!? I have a very minor question about Extra Stages: if the *'s are supposed to mean difficulty, what's the highest * rating? Just interested in knowing the range is all.

I guess there is two measures of this...one is Easy , Normal, and hard....another measure is the missions also have bar difficulty.... from a spectrum of 1 to 8. 8 being the hardest that is. From what i noticed is damage....it seems to me on hard mode you take in a lot of damage and you dish out less damage. As for 8 bar of difficulty i think it plays more into how many ace pilots you face....and how smart the AI gets. An example: True gundam warrior has difficulty of 8 bar and also is stuck on Hard mode...in this mission you face up against i think a total of 8 hyper ace pilots.... Another extra mission with hard difficulty with 7 bar seemed to have less ace pilots to face. The real noticeable difference like i stated was pretty much your damage and their damage to you....and the fact that in hard modes most of the time the enemies block a whole lot. lol Shokatshin you must've caught my message that I used Zeong for True Gundam Warrior mission.

You'd be right. ![]() It really does seem to me like this game has stuff that's many times harder than the missions in the first game, which is a good thing. Nothing like having an ultimate challenge that can cause you to break your controller.

Lol i just like to think i'm extra challenging myself with that but actually i found it quite surprising myself that it was much easier for me with Zeong than any other suit's i've used.....from Class 1. It's got a lot to do with the skill probably instant hero....for Class 2 MS....I don't think I've ever would've beaten some stages on hard without it in the extra mode you start noticing they force you to use lots of class 2 and class 3 ms.....

I've tried your method, but i made some adjustments, i use serene mind, ace pilot and DG cell on wing zero. i rack up 2000++ kill count and it really turn into a breeze using sp attacks, the damage was way higher than normal . haven't tried it on zeong cos i haven't max the stats for it's parts.i also found out something, if you keep one of your allies alive, the enemy ace will not come and gang up on you, they'll remain in their field. i manage to keep sarah alive and get to pick them off 1 at a time . Haha, I'll be honest, I am REALLY interested in these so called 'super hard' missions that take epic amounts of time to complete. Obviously I'm going to play this game when it comes out religiously but I can't wait till I've got characters strong enough to do these Extra Missions with. Can't wait to attempt some of these levels with Class 3 Units

killing 2000 MS is PAIN in PS2,not enough MS to quickly reach that T_T,thus the aircombo strategy suits me better>.<,i recall the 3 TGW prereq mission(unlock all rank4 for grunt, musha, and musha MKII) was finished less than 30 minutes,i had to use DG cells for TGW though and my clear is somewhere near 30 minutes

I'm glad you finished that mission Wodash...hence why I made two strategies. I had a feeling people might point out that it's hard to accumulate that many shot downs on PS2..I think just unlocking True Gundam Warrior mission to begin with is already the tough task.....I mean geesh look at all those things you have to do just to unlock the missions prior to unlocking it..... |
