the amount of snsd members irritates me. The only ones I can make out are Taeyeon, Sunny, Jessica, and Yuri. :beard:
He he. I had a hard time at first too. Now I couldn't even mistake a member even if I tried. :ph43r:
Hehe I guess it will come with time. I just feel like the rest of them look really similar :kurokan:
I'm surprised you even have Yuri down, as most people call her, Yoona, and Seohyun, the triplets :kurokan:
Huh really? From the first time I saw them, she just looks like she has a thicker face than the rest of the members to me

@VV Probably. :ph43r:
I guess it depends on the pic, video, or timeframe you view them in.

I used to love American Pop before I got into kpop, now I basically don't listen to any of it. Don't even know whats new and not anymore :kurokan: Except Taylor Swift. I always listen to her.

I will still definitely listen to American Pop lol. In particular, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. Pretty much any pop/rock artist thats not Justin Bieber. :beard:

I don't think I'd be able to listen to just one type of music, but that's just me.

Yeah there are certain types I prefer, but everyone has favorites.

It just depends on the mood. Sometimes I want to get moved by great meaningful lyrics from a great rock band, other times I want to just bob my head to catchy pop songs. :innocent:

I think that depends on how much you get into a certain genre. Like me, I follow everything that Kpop does :ph43r: I know of every new song and video that comes out, so it consumes my time enough for me to not even care about other music much. There are always exceptions though. I still love movie scores, and the occasional alternative rock like The Goo Goo Dolls and The Script.

I've never been a huge music follower. I usually just listen to songs and artists as I come across them from somewhere.

I wouldn't have the patience to follow everything an entire genre does. A specific band or group, maybe, but even then it would have to be a band I really like.

I haven't even heard every potf song and really know nothing about them besides the names of two of the members.

Well to be fair, Kpop is a lot smaller than any genre in American music. My brother is the biggest alt rock fan I know and owns over 3000 CDs, and I don't think he even knows of every band that rises and falls within the genre.

Well, I ment more so in quantity, rather than popularity :innocent:

But yes, yes it will :ph43r:

Well that too :hehe:

And I think kpop would definitely make a huge stride if SNSD did more songs in English. The boys is so addicting.

I don't mind not being able to understand the lyrics, I just like the catchy tunes.

Myself too, but sadly a lot of people won't listen to the music if they can't understand it. :/

They are coming out with an English album next year. But they aren't popular enough in the English speaking world to regularly do so. Japan is their best market. They could just continue to only release Japanese albums, and they would continue to bring in millions and millions of moola.

True, all very true. I wonder the year when Kpop bands will do both their songs in Asia and in America. I just don't think the American music industry is ready for it yet..

I would love to learn Korean :kurokan: just don't have enough determination right now. But yeah, as far as the music goes, it doesn't bother me at all.

It doesn't really bother me; but listening to both the korean and english version of the boys, I definitely enjoy the English a lot more.

Wait till 2NE1 comes to America. They've already have ties with huge American acts like Will.i.am and Nicki Minaj.

And they are on that new Dance Central game.

Yeah, BoA was huge in all over Asia in the early 2000s. Then she made her way into the American music industry. I wouldn't say it was terrible, but I wouldn't have called it a successful venture.
