Quoting limited to 5 levels deep
Last thing I heard the sales in Japan were still going strong though. It's the overseas sales that are getting hurt, so at this point I just have to be patient for PC ports, and accept that I cannot play in English until I have gotten a new console, which I have accepted.
Hey it at least gives you a chance to brush up on your japanese right? XD
Pfffft, who needs it? Don't need to understand what's going on to maul through a bunch of fools  I do know the general story of this point, and in WOZ I obviously know it after WO and WO2, just not the Dramatic Stages. And no idea about character personalities for the new adds, but I can figure that out later. Kill some fools, go towards the bright white dots on the map if it's important, continue doing your thing, win.

Wow, really thinking back on how long I've been gaming, when I started playing certain games, and using other stuff that I am now considered an expert at.... it's crazy XD I wonder how I was able to avoid massive complaints from my parents, followed by a "You're not allowed to play that again until you're older" speech XD
Haha true. As long as I can understand the general concept of whats going on, then I'm down :P

Aww you haven't gotten to really see the DW7 personalities much? Man a lot of those are my favorites :hehe:

Luckily my parents have never cared about how old I am when it comes to games. The only one they wouldn't let me play for whatever reason was Grand Theft Auto :ph43r:

 But obsession with DW games kinda made that lack of limitation useless for me anyways.
Don't understand a word, so nope, not at all. But haven't played DW7 a whole lot, not even gotten through Wei's story yet, maybe 'cause I have to go fullscreen to play it, and quite often, or was the case at the time, games take awhile to run smoothly, so was in, one battle, done.

Wasn't allowed to watch my brothers play Tekken as a kid, wasn't even in school at the time I think. Kept sneaking in into my brothers room though to watch. Fighting games my mom never liked, but at some point she just couldn't stop me anymore and I just played whatever I wanted and now I am like, the worlds biggest fighting game fan XD Biggest surprise though is Unreal Tournament, love the series so much, first FPS game I played, only FPS I really played when I was younger, never was too fond of all the others, spend so many hours in that game and the whole series. At the time, the first game was gory, it was brutal and I was.... 8 I think  And nowadays a lot of kids that age can't play anything with the slightest amount of violence without it being horrible and damaging them for life. XD We have also gotten one SNES game exchanged, or brothers did, I was too oung to remember it, we HAD the original Clayfighter, it's so awesome, but parents thought it was too violent so they had it exchanged D: Probably for something awesome, but still would love to have that game on the real SNES.

And I must've been using emulators for about as long as UT XD Even remember our first one, REV, a gameboy emulator, used it to play gameboy version of Carmageddon 2.... a series that I was familiar with at the time, only had 2nd at the time though, most likely because 1st one got banned in several countries..... what a lovely childhood I had XD And the games never had any negative effect on me  We did have a NES emulator at one point as well, not sure when though, and then when i was... around 10 most likely, it happened, that oh so glorious moment in my gaming life. The day that my brother showed it to me, among the most awesome of emulators, ZSNES  SNES is my childhood in games, along with early Playstation platformers. Can go super nostalgia mode on PC gaming as well though. 5 years old, evening, getting out first computer set up, family friend is doing it. A game came with the computer, Incoming, played it that night. And I still have the disc, and yes, I have it installed on my computer XD

Oh dear, the timing :ph43r:

I really need to get into more fighting games. The only ones I've truly truly played to the death are Dead or Alive and Soul Calibur. I've only played Tekken a small fraction, but practically nothing else.

Wow, can't believe your mom didn't let you play fighting games until you were older :o Dead or Alive and Soul Calibur were practically my childhood, my life would've been so different without them :kurokan:

I hate the way people are with violence now. "omg he hit someone, game banned" <_<

Paused game. Eight breaks the game. Like Nuwa in WO3 break the game. Once you start attacking an enemy, they can't do anything. He chains attacks like crazy good too. :kurokan:

Was going to try Cater next, but I'm going to do Cinque instead.

Well, I don't think it took that long, actually played Tekken 2 when I was around that age when I think about it XD I think I played it a few times with my brother when sneaking into his room, other times I played when visiting friends and parents did not know about it  "Oh yeah, Tekken 2, sweet, I love that game, let's play it" And it was still just a minor setback, despite it I'm still up at... probably 300+ XD

I played futuristic shooter where you could literally blow people into limbs and other fun stuff, and a game where you got points and time bonuses for running over pedestrians, while ramming the opponents until they exploded, game even had a pedestrian counter, so you could try and run them all over, never had the energy to do that XD I did not play any violent games at all during my childhood, no sir  Also love the fact that when we got our PS2, not THAT long after it's release here, it came with one game and one DVD, the game being The Getaway, 18- and every warning possible XD

Hehe, nice to hear you had such an explosive childhood! :hehe:

I really only play violent games. The only videogames I play that aren't based off violence is Rock Band, Sly Cooper, and Crash Bandicoot. Well the last two are sort of violent :hehe:

:ph43r: My goriest game growing up was definitely gears of war. Love that game. Don't play it much, if at all anymore though. :kurokan:

Well I have to go, nice talking to you ^_^

And thank you Swan

First Crash Bandicoot, which was my first in the series  was a LOT more for an adult audience. I mean, just the difficulty of it all, and then some other content *cough*Tawna*cough* Shame it went downhill after PS era though as most platformers that survived.

Gears of War? ...... wow, that's waaaaaay down the road for me XD Only played one, briefly, but remember when it first came out. And Gears of War uses the Unreal Engine, made for the Unreal series which includes the Unreal Tournament games  Seen that engine evolve since the beginning XD Feel so old now, gaming wise at least.
