If you, like, me, grew up playing old 2D platformers, where pretty much everything killed you in one hit (sometimes more if the game was kind) and pretty much everything you could find hurt you as soon as you touched it, then you'll enjoy this XD Basically it's a pretty fast paced hardcore 2D platformer. I died quite a lot today, despite having done all the stages previously, as I had somehow lost all of my progress of World 2, so need to redo it all.

My family never used it, was just a nicnkane for me to use when I would game pretty much XD And I still do, although it tends to be TrasHSWE more commonly, as it's a fair bit of online gaming. And I am from Sweden, which surprises most people XD Some find it hard to believe I'm not a native English speaker. And it's alright, I don't mind questions at all XD Probably the opposite.
Wow, sounds like some really tough games  And awww, I hate it when that happens :XD Good luck though, I'm sure you'll be able to!

And wow, I see! Yes, your English is flawless, so I'd never guess it wasn't your native language ^_^ Just like I'd never guess it wasn't Sera's or Selli's. And I'm glad you don't mind all the questions!
I really enjoy those types of games though, love platformers, or old-school platformers, so these fit me perfectly XD ESJ with it's checkpoints too.... just so fast paced usually that it gets addicting, keep doing the "One more life, just one more life, one more try then I'm done. Just one more" then you're so far into the stage that you can't quit without finishing it XD And so nice with games that doesn't move you along at babysteps. Most show which button do what, then sends you on your way without any interference after that XD ESJ does have a bit of that, includes some really quick filler stages, but those are still fun due to all the NPC's who talk to you.

I'm glad to hear that, I have been working rather hard to try and polish it and expand my vocabulary to make it as good as it could possibly be ^_^ Still remember when Selli commented about it when I put out the first chapter of the story I used to write, and a member who were very active at the time, whom I used to talk quite a lot to, was shocked that it wasn't my native language, and I was like "You've known me for quite some time now, how did you not know I was Swedish?" XD It used to come up quite a lot.
Yes, I know the feeling :XD I've almost gotten addicted to certain games myself. Some games are way too easy and it's nice to have a more challenging one for a change.

And you have a very expansive vocabulary ^_^ Not to toot my own horn or sound like I'm bragging or anything, but you can feel free to polish it up with me too, anytime  I'm a peer-tutor for English at my university (I'm graduating in just a few months with my English major!) so I'll be happy to help! Not that you need it of course ^_^
Oh, may I ask what games that might be? And Ih ave a bit of both, some games that feel insanely difficult at times, some that can be very easy, depending on the difficulty. What bothers me is games, with unskippable tutorials, that acts like you've never touched a controller in your life. "This is how you punch. Now punch five times. Good!. This is how you kick. Now kick 5 times" I know this already, I'm a SNES kid, I've played Beat em Ups all my life >_<

It's hard to really point anything out, just the odd words here and there that I haven't encountered, but those I tend to ask about right away, or look up myself, usually ask though as then you can get a more clear example of how to use it. But I will keep that in mind if I need any help ^_^

Well, I doubt I've played as many/as difficult games as you, of course  But one series I got really into for a while was Persona. Namely 3 and 4, I couldn't put them down until I finished them. Then I just restarted them, hahah :XD Ace Attorney too, I love solving a good mystery (which is really a huge part of what the game does). And yeah, those games really baby you :XD I have no doubt you're an expert on Beat 'em ups, this is a Koei forum we're on after all :P

Great! Anytime you want, just say ^_^

I haven't played THAT many really difficult games, and not that many that I've been up on the highest difficulty in either, have had a few though, personal favorite probably being the short stint I had at Godlike in UT, beating the first 3 stages of the game XD Ah, I see, games like that are quite rare for me, usually play them in periods, unsure what the last game I played all the way through, with no other games in between, would be. I did play a lot of Pokemon X when I got it though, and had it beaten in just under a week, despite barely playing a couple of the days, so that might count XD Never played Ace Attorney, but from what I've heard, Dangan Ronpa should be similar to it in gameplay, at least certain parts of it, and that I've played the entire first game of, not 2nd though as there's no translation patch for it.

Well, Koei games are rather different, Hack and Slash have evolved a bit in a different direction, it does work a lot better in 3D, easier to make it work. Most Beat em Ups that they've tried to make in 3D haven't been as good, and most were quite clanky, but been a long time since I saw one. Don't think I'm as big when it comes to the Hack and Slash scene, or at least not the more modern one, but still know a bit, and the retro ones are just beat em ups with weapons, so those I know quite well XD
