@granddaughter: Ahh, it does look cute :santa: Never heard of that one, either D: But I haven't actually watched all that many anime @_@~

@cousin: Oh D: Then I hope it will change soon!

I'm from Salzburg!! :santa: Was born there and lived there for the first three years of my life ^^ Yeah, from what you've said about him, it does seem that way.

Yeah, it's really very sad D: I mean, he chose to participate and everything, and people are killed every day in their homes and on the streets, often not even considering that that could happen (though I guess in times of war they do also feel like it's a risk to go outside), but still @_@~
Yeah, I do hope so too, did try and watch some races last year, watched one from IndyCar, but it honestly bored me, felt like cars were just too wide and no one seemed to dare to really attack hard to pass. But during the race, I did see something that did upset me quite a lot. They were moving a car off of the track, but instead of moving it behind the barriers, like they do in other sports, like F1 (usually they can open up sections of the wall and get the car out of there) they moved it out onto the grass under a safety car, and the commentators were sitting there, saying things like "Come on, just move it out of the way and bring the safety car in, no one will probably hit it where it is right now, it's unlikely". Over here, that does not fly, if they leave the safety car out, you accept it, because you know there is a reason for it. PROBABLY is not good enough, and unlikely is not a thing. If there is even the slightest chance of another car hitting it, it's not good enough and it must be moved, because when that unlikely thing does happen, you're most likely dealing with serious injuries.

Oh, I see XD All I knew is that you have lived (still do?) in Vienna :lol: When it comes to Austria that is XD

Yeah, one of the doctors (and friend to Senna) did try and convince him to retire after seeing him after Ratzenberger had passed away. Senna was just so emotional, and affected by what had happened. It's still so odd that it happened to him on that day though, the things he had prepared for after the race, the work he had started before the race. It was on the day of the race that he had talked about reinstating the Drivers Association, who works a lot for driver safety, and taking the president role as he was the one with the most years in the sport of the current drivers. He had talked about it with Prost before the race (Prost had retired and worked for the press at the time). I do wonder what would have happened if Senna had survived though, it does feel like his death served as an eye opened and motivation to make all the changes the sport needed at the time. And I think it is a shame that Ratzenbergers death got overshadowed because of Senna, both are tragic, but Sennas gets a lot more attention because he was a big name, but realized I've seen Sennas accident plenty of times, but not Ratzenbergers, so ended up watching it D: Still don't know why I do, guess it's just some really weird and crazy way for me to pay my respects to them, watch them in their final moments. Sounds so wrong, but after reading so much about it, and being so invested in it all.... just want to see it for myself D:

What are your educational goals? What are your career goals?

Couldn't these be multiple choice questions? :nene:

@granddaughter: Oh, are they prequels or something?? :o I will watch them first, then ^^

Maybe you could say something like: "I want to learn and broaden my horizons. In addition, I want to be well-informed in various areas and get a degree. I am not yet sure what my career goals are specifically, but it would be nice if xxxblablax were possible. Ideally, I'd want a job I can enjoy."
Or something @_@~

@cousin: Oh D:

Yeah, I still do ^^ I'm originally from Salzburg, though XD

D: Well, so many people die every day and we never hear about them. When someone famous or something dies, however, they're in every paper. It's just kind of the way things go @_@~

I guess they're kind of prequels. A lot of the scenes from them are reused in the normal series, but then there are also some scenes that are exclusive to the OVA's, so I think they're worth watching.

To me, who watch so much racing, a lot of it being FIA series, that's just horrible >_< Safety should be main priority imo.

Well, then I am keeping somewhat track of you XD .... that does sound a bit stalkerish :lol:

Yeah, it is rather tragic >_< It is understandable though, when you are famous, there's just so many who have such a big interest in you, who wants to know everything about you, your every move, I mean for some famous people, privacy is extremely rare. If there was a way to do it, then I think people should pay more tribute to all the people who pass away, I just understand why certain cases gets so much attention on the media.

@granddaughter: All right! ^^

@cousin: Yeah D:

Nooo, it doesn't sound stalkerish at all!! XD

Probably D: It would be too hard to be sad all the time about people dying, so I think some use famous people's deaths as outlets for their grief over everyone's death?? But many were just really fond of the famous person, I guess.

Would being one of the two people in the grade selected to read an essay count as an accomplishment?

How much improvement do you need in motivation?

I guess it kind of depends? I mean if it's something that interests me, I can usually be pretty easily motivated.

How much improvement do you need in public speaking?

Contrary to what people would think about how shy and quiet I usually am, I actually have no problems with public speaking. :kosho:

Being shy doesn't have much to do with that.

I get very talkative when I feel in right mindset.

@Kitten: One more for now, Sweetheart. :heart:

It actually kind of shocked my English teacher last year because whenever I would be called on to answer a question, I'd respond in a very quiet tone. But then when I had to give a presentation, I'd speak very loudly and clearly.

Hmm, I've gotten better at not being nervous when it comes to public speaking, but sometimes it's still really bad, while other times I feel fairly calm. Though I never was able to stop being nervous when it came to piano recitals XD My hands would always shake and my heart would beat crazy fast @_@~

I'll aswer right away :heart:

Hmm, I do think it's more intimidating to speak in front of lots of people when you're shy D: I just don't like it that so many people are looking at me and paying attention to me; it makes me feel uncomfortable @_@~ Though I am now able to just go up to random people I feel I could get along with and talk to them ^^ Sometimes I just talk to people at university who seem a bit lost or lonely. I wouldn't have dared to do that in the past @_@~
