I'm ok, thanks  I have sooo many horribly boring assignments I have to force myself to do @_@~ And how are you? ^^

Awwww :pat: Hope you can get through them fairly quickly at least  I'm not sure honestly, I have very mixed emotions still.

Thank you  Yeah, that's understandable D: I'm just gonna start assuming that free to play games will close down eventually @_@~ If Dragon Nest were to close down soon, I wouldn't even have time to play much anymore because for at least the next two months, I'm pretty swamped XD That would be sad D:

You're welcome  Yeah, I'm starting to become very cynical towards them. I have 3 left that I have put a decent amount of time into. One isn't THAT much, one is maybe like 60? And the last is the game with the most hours in my Steam account, so if that one goes, then I'll probably give up on them >_<

 Idk, I wouldn't regret having started playing it because it was fun XD How many hours does the longest have? :o I don't remember which one that is XD

 I don't know, usually there's no way to really beat the game when they are free, so it feels like all the time spent on it was all for nothing when it goes away. And realized there are more free games I have played quite a lot, like Duel of Champions, and Defiance, Defiance I tend to forget about because it wasn't free when I started playing it, so I did pay for that game. I think my most played game has 137 hours or something like that, some of that isn't game time, as it counts me as in game when I update it

Why is it for nothing if you had fun? :o Ohh, I see ^^

I dunno, for me it just feels like.... I haven't really accomplished anything. I guess in some cases I have, but it is hard to remember such small things, rather than beating a full game. I don't know, I can't really explain it.

For the game that is closing down, I definitely agree with you, my evil companion :asia:

Although most games I feel like if I enjoyed it's fine, but it's also why I never actually put money into free to play games
I'd still think it's a shame, would be great if RH was still around and if DN or Warframe went down it'd be really annoying as feels like there is so much left undone in those (as it did with RH), but they were definitely good fun to play and definitely wouldn't regret playing them just because the progress is gone.
Things like Renaissance Heroes and Microvolt and such were fun too (is the latter still around? Not sure) but I don't really mind if they were to shut down (the former definitely has)

DWO was another one which was a real shame actually, but I think I think so negatively on that one because while I'd played it plenty, you and Mits had just gotten into it properly :kurokan:

@cousin: Ohh D: Well I don't beat very many games, so I guess I just see that differently XD I just want to have fun while playing ^^ Though it can feel great to accomplish something XD

Hello brother ^^ Yeah, I don't want to put money into them either XD Tbh I think I would have given up on Rusty Hearts because of all the stage repetitions XD

Hello :P
Yeah, I understand that
I mean obviously I played a lot of RH while you were away during it's shutting down period, but I burned out on the repetition, because the bosses were also being a real pain to actually kill due to having so much health
Although multiplayer I think I'd have still kept going :ph43r:
Repetition isn't too bad to me if the combat is fun enough, I remember playing the same stages over and over in DW2 and DW3 for instance, to get the items to max the characters stats and to get good weapon drops and such

Dragon Nest is another one I could do that with I feel :ph43r:
But it doesn't need it half as much as RH

I'd ask how you are, but I predict you'll say all right? :o
Yeahh, it was so annoying XD I wouldn't have played it so much if there hadn't been the pressure of it shutting down @_@~ I guess the harder difficulties weren't meant for single players ^^'
Well it's different in DW, the whole point of the game is the combat, kinda XD But with Rusty Hearts, it's took sooo long for the plot to move on, it was super infuriating >_<

I thought you knew me better than that :nope:
Spoiler: click to toggle

I'd have been happy to play it about as much as we did, but did go a bit overkill when I was doing it solo when you weren't there too
Also to be fair part of that progression problem was doing the side quests too

I know that XD I was about to add "Or well, alright anyway" but then didn't :hehe:

Yeah, I mean I think you always played Tude when I went to bed? And then you only played Tude anymore I guess, might have also been part of it. Because you didn't have ~variety~ XD
True. And some of those side quests were absolutely ridiculous XD But it felt wrong not doing them, idk @_@~ But I just wanted more story stuff to happen XD

@Sanada: Microvolts is indeed still around, I need to get back into that one, have 40-50 hours played in it, but been sooooo long >_< It have gotten a lot more enjoyable after you could buy weapons permanently for in game currency, and it isn't like when we started playing it XD But yeah, that company does not handle their property well, so, who knows how long it will last.

@Selli: Well, I get a game and start playing it, it is because it looks fun, and because I want to have fun with it. But at the same time, if there is a way to beat the game, I want to beat the game, I want to see the end. Video games for me have always been a pretty competitive environment too, I mean I have played them a lot on my own and I still do, but ever since I first started, there was that competitive side to it as well. First against my brothers, then friends, and now certain people I know online :hehe: And if it's a game you can't play against each other, find other ways to beat them, beat the game before they do, beat their results, accomplish something in the game that they have not yet been able to do. Or if it's something the other person have played a lot, and there is no way you could possibly match them, just do well enough to gain their approval XD

Yeah, that's right. Tude was really fun though, so I don't think variety matters too much

I did play a bit of Baira towards the end too though
Some with TrasH infact, isn't that right? :asia:

The most ridiculous was the chicks :XD
Some were ridiculous, but it was nice to see the interactions about them since the characters were pretty good
I'd only just hit where Natasha appeared to chime into those side quests too when it shut down

Yeah, Microvolts is not one I'd be confident in sticking around. It might do, but many more unique ones have failed to

@cousin: Ohh, ok XD Idk I guess I was just always worse than my brother from the start, so I never felt thaaat competitive because I just accepted it? Though it depends on the game, I guess XD I do want to feel somewhat useful at least, otherwise I feel like crap XD

@brother: I was so sad I didn't get to play my Angela more D: But I liked Leila (was that her name? XD)
It was sad that the egg never hatched XD
Yeah, the characters were pretty unique ^^

@Sanada: I'm not really worried because of how much it stands out or not, I am more worried about it because of the company that runs it >_<

Baira?

@Selli: So was I, I never stood a chance against my brothers in anything, because they were older than me and had gotten a head start on gaming. But as I grew older, the gap began to shrink, and I began to win more and more, and the feeling of finally besting my brothers was so satisfying XD And I have had that a lot, used to have a big problem with it whenever I felt like I didn't perform the way I should. It still hits me sometimes, but not anywhere near as bad as it used to be.

It makes me kinda sad, having missed so much of RH. It feels like whenever you are talking about it, I don't know any of it.

Omg if I actually beat my brother in a game, he'd show no more mercy XD Like in those DW vs thingies? If I accidentally defeated him, he'd just start juggling me, hitting me while I was on the floor, and just generally not going easy on me at all XD Even though he won all the time anyway?? It was just a matter of pride for him or something, or also expectation like you said, I guess ^^ Aww :o

Oh no D: Well, to be honest a lot of it was really ridiculous XD But yeah, it really sucks :(
