Well..I always enjoy learning new things.

I'm sorry if that's such a bad thing.
It's not bad, on the contrary.
What I say is that I had some bad experiences about giving people new info on the past( Forum and RL wise)
But, that is good

Warm and cold currents meet and make hurricanes.
Thanks, I had forgotten that
And those earthquakes are commonly provoked by Tectonic plates

I agree with Akiro. You really are outstanding, Cloudberry. But, all humans are smart. I would use the word studious( he who studies, I believe, I don't know the english word for sure)

Are we really discussing plate tectonic and cyclones here?! The 'Family' thread has reached a new level... :shifty:

I will leave now. Good bye everyone!

You are quite a little smartie, aren't you, Cloudberry?

I'm not very good at science, weather, and all that kind of stuff. The only thing I can tell is when a storm is coming. Well, at least right now I understand what we're doing in science.

That reminds me...

On Friday, my class did a lab using those pH scale things, okay. So anyway, the scales were in these fancy little packages that looked like the wrappers for those chocolate coins. When we opened them, to our dismay, there was no candy. We knew there wouldn't be any to begin with, but still.

Next Wednesday I have a test over World War 1 in History, which I have no worries of at all.

Yeah, the first World War is a very cool subject, but not as cool as the second one. Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Winston Churchill,Roosevelt( Theodore, I believe) the most incredible leaders of Century 20( my opinion).
@Cloud: See it in page 6285

Yeah, I prefer learning about WW2 as well, more specifically the Holocaust.

My third favorite book, 'Number the Stars', is about the Holocaust if you haven't read it. We had to read it in sixth grade. And for a book report, I did 'One Eye Laughing, the Other Weeping', another Holocaust book which I very much enjoyed reading.

And part of my love for that subject compelled me to take German once I reached high school. Plus last year, when we learned German, Spanish, and French all at once for nine weeks, German was the most interesting.

Trust me though, nobody except my best friend Brooklyn understands or really knows how much I love German.

Well, you're not like Mahmud Ahmadinejad( Ithink that's the spelling of ran's president name), are you?
Anyway, my country did pretty bad at both wars. In the second, some of our battleships were sunk by Italy, and our only contribution was in the medicine area.
But, we did take some advantage in the War. We could finally become richer and somewhat developed after the war ended, in the 1960's
Detail: We were ruled by a dictatorist regime that employed this money in pharaonic buildings such as the TransAmazonic road, that's still not finished. And, Amazonas forest is now only under our nominal control. The US are plotting to make it theirs, with the arguing that Amazonic Forest is not from Brazil, but it's from the Earth
