Akiro, you're a fellow bassist so you have knowledge in that area, do you understand how someone can catch a bass with one hand? XD

 At first I thought maybe it would be a Soundgear or something light like that. :uh: Then again, I've never really known many Fender users so I don't know how heavy they are.
Lots, and lots of practice...? :uh:

He doesn't look like the strongest guy either XD really surprising how he can get such a good grip on it as well since that clip is taken from a concert, my hands would probably slip if I tried

@Ce: I've played on one of those and it's not that light, but still not too heavy either, but I would never toss it around like that since those things are pretty expensive XD

Jeez, you'd think his hands would be sweaty and it would slip or something. Plus, he was pretty brave to catch it by the neck, which is the lightest part.

That was my first thought... I know my bassist's soundgear is light enough I probably could, but I'd be far too paranoid to try with anything like that.

That's what I've been thinking as well XD and the tosses it so high too. It would probably be pretty hard to catch it with one hand anywhere else than the neck though XD but there is a risk with the strings though, they snap very easily at certain places

@Ce: I wouldn't even dare to try with my old crappy bass that I never use anymore XD and that one ain't worth much

Well yes, with one hand the neck is the best place to catch it  But if it were me I would try a double handed hug kind of catch to try and make sure it has a soft landing.

Anyway, I gots to go to school now. See yat Trash, Se-chan (see what I did there? :shifty: *pets*) and everyone else that we scared away! :o

I don't care about my old bass tbh XD but still wouldn't try it. The bass is crappy, doesn't suit my playing at all, and I'm selling it together with my amp as soon as I have my new one

@Akiro: XD That would probably be safer, but I'm guessing that would most likely snap some strings  unless you get them facing towards you. I will talk to you later then, see you.

It's a shame he doesn't play bass anymore though, or at least not in a band, but I really like the bassist in his new band too XD Would've been nice if Midtown would've stayed together as well though

I'm always horribly nostalgic and attached myself. Still don't care nearly as much about it as I do my current one of course. I really probably couldn't even sell my old one for enough to be worth it anyway.

:o It always makes me depressed when something like that happens. :(
At least he is still doing music though... Once lost one drummer I really liked to... modeling. :OMG:

Don't think mine will be worth much either, but hoping to get some money at least if I sell it together with the amp. And with that bass I don't care at all XD but could be since my brother played before me and was the one that got it, I had nothing to do with it, which is why it didn't fit me at all.

I don't know why, but Midtown split up, 2 of them are in the same band now (this it's the guitarists) the last guy is in a new band as well, and Gave (the bassist) started Cobra Starship

 I guess since it was actually my first and completely my own it's easier to be a bit attached to it.

-_- Too many good bands end up splitting... It is always depressing.

-_- I must depart for work now. :(

Yeah XD much easier to be that when you have actually picked it yourself (first bass I picked out is the one I'm still using, bought it last year 2 days before my birthday, had looked at it for so long, and dreamed of getting it so really special for me XD)

Indeed =( but when other good bands come from it then it makes it easier

Awww =( I'll see you later then *hugs*
