well i dont know if anyone else cares but i think some do i was thinking the day before yesterday when i got wo2 "man i wish i can talk to people on here without spamming a topic" and i thought if possible would you guys be able to put a shout box or is this impossible with the server you guys have? |

We had a shoutbox before, but it was getting out of hand with vulgar comments and flaming. It's really hard to moderate it as well. We may put it back again, but right now I don't see a reason why we should. It didn't really serve much of a purpose except for people to spam constantly and make fun of each other. |

Uhh, that would be a good idea, if we were able to do it for that many variations. Those little pics are part of the skin, and all the skins have the same of those all through them. I dont think you can change them by something simple like that, so it would just be a long and painful process just for a single little image.

Those are section images, you add them as small codes (<IMG> tags) in the forum's description like how'd you add normal text. So they got nothing to do with the skin, and you can only have one set for all the forum (doesn't matter what skin). |

I propose putting a lock on the GFX Request section until you have 20+ posts or whatever amount. Otherwise you'll get people joining & sponging off the GFX artists here and not coming back. On snap, that happened today, I think it's lame and should be stopped. |

Nasser: lol, woop, well...im not the one who runs this ship, so I dont know anything for sure  Fayt: although it might seem to be an alright idea, I dont think that it would be all that nice...this forum tries to create a nice welcoming atmosphere, you of all people whould know this, so when we say to certain people "NO REQUEST FOR YOU!" that just doesnt really seem all that nice, but I guess the rest of the staff might think a bit differently

I just think of it as a reward for those that are active here, this place gives enough stuff for nothing (Members Only). But Requests take personalized time, it's different to something mass made for many, I know I for one would never make something for a first poster only. Why would I? There is every chance you'd never see them again and your just getting used. Either that, or it's just the cranky old bastard in me coming out again.

I really do not see that as necessary. In the end it is the GFXer's prerogative whether or not he/she will do the request. So, if they find it rude that a member with little posts has made a request then they do not have to do it. |

I agree with Fayt because the person who made a request was someone who already had an account but made a new one because they forgot their old username which was probably because they weren't even active with the old account and made the new account just so they can request a site banner for another site. I just don't think it seems right on a level to take requests like that but whatever. You can't win them all I guess Fayt. |

I think if you want to show off your Sprites and stuff you should create your own gallery in the GFX Board and the tutorial should go in the Tutorial Thread |

I think Sprites is GFX cause sprites are also found on Deviant Art and that site is for Art and GFX ... So i guess so

Blaze KF, you're more than welcome to create a gallery for your sprites in the GFX Section. The name of the forum might be a bit misleading, but it's really for any member created artwork, whether it's signatures, avatars, photography, drawings, etc...

Im sorry for the double post but an idea came up too me...... i have been lurking thru the forums since and before i joined and i saw that most members have been banned for spam, i dont know whether this has been suggested or not but why not make a spam section so if you wanna spam, spam there! if you are caught spamming anywhere else you give out warnings and if they continue then ban them..... of course there will be rules in the spam section*if you do choose to open one* Although there are a few word filters, I don't wan't you saying anything that can't be said on daytime TV! Be overall nice to eachother in this forum, no threats or hate messages or anything. (No flaming!) No stealing any body's ideas on their upcoming games/movies! No malicious hidden links or anything of the sort. No posts with innapropriate material. (Anything that can't be said or seen on basic cable can't be said or seen here!) No impersonating other members, especially the mods or admins! No posting another member's personal information such as name, address. etc. You can post yours if you REALLY want to but it's your responsibility. Please DO NOT make any references to anything that has to do with file-sharing, bootlegging, or anything else that could get this site closed down! No posting spoilers of any kind for a book, TV show, etc., without clearly indicating that the post is a spoiler. (Ex. type "SPOILER" in all caps) I will not be held responsible for any third party links posted by anyone on these forums. Don't post topics complaining about other members and/or stating not to lock them If you don't like a topic.... DON'T POST IN IT! DO NOT POST IN A BOT TOPIC. (Meaning suspicious looking topics made by forum bots that probably contain graphic material or malicious hyperlinks) No page stretchers please. It really slows everything down. all these rules can make the spam section a good section to keep out spam from other sections while not breaking any rules.. so yeah...anyone like or dislike the idea? just a suggestion that came to mind so users wont get banned for spam and other things like that,after all there is always spam in a forum one of them being IGN... |

We have pretty much implemented most of those rules/some of them aren't even necessary or needed. We kind of a have a Spam section already, but it's called the Fun Area. Most of the forum rules apply to this section and is moderated as well. Thanks for offering these suggestions though!

Umm is it possible to make a forum within the forum? Like in the Dynasty Warriors thread in Sub Forum Dynasty Warriors, It'd have a Sub Forum within that sub forum that are: Empires 1, XTREME LEGENDS 2. So there'd be two different sub forums in it. It'd save space and would be easier to talk about what you wanna talk about |

That would just add more unnecessary clutter to the forums and make it much more convoluted. Anything about the Empires and Xtreme Legends games can be discussed in their respective threads or a new thread can be created if you want to discuss a particular aspect but seriously, extra subforums within subforums of subforums are not that good of an idea. |
