I'm not really going to look at it but I know I have somewhere near over 2248+ missions completed...shot down count is somewhere in the 554025+ and hours spent is almost 303 hours+. Best 5 pilots: Heero Yuy lvl 50 all skills....all missions unlocked completed in mission mode....meaning everything: extra missions, free missions, story missions, collection missions, license missions and friendship missions..download missions too.. Kira Yamato lvl 50 all licenses....all skills...friendship missions, free missions , collection missions, license missions, and story missions complete. Dozle Zabi lvl 50 some licenses... Sleggar Law lvl 40 some licenses... Amuro Ray lvl 44 some licenses... 40/40 pilots lvl 31+ have skills: Charisma, Pilot sense and Worthy Rival along with all unlocking Rain G Gundam Fight Friendship missions and 5000+ shot downs each. Everyone is Newtype got terminal message. No specific special features occuring from what the eye can see. I'm not sure if this helps me gain any relationships or changes messages with one pilot to another since they are all now newtype. Oh well. I wonder if I can notice things more in the NA release when this happens. All rank 4 parts for Class 1 Suits 100% maxed out stats.... All grunt units and other mobile suits unlocked with Rank 4 parts 100% of the pieces upgraded to max... Attachments pretty much complete can obtain any attachment needed.... Library complete... All story modes completed for all characters....which also means unlocked all characters... Original Mode completed... There are differences between pilots in some categories of missions for example some pilots will have a different extra mission from another pilot usually about 1 or 2 tops....some pilots will have a different friendship mission over another pilot same issue about 1 to 3...this is because sometimes it relates to genders reasons or the extra mission would involve that particular pilot...and it would conflict if you end up facing each other and such....I know for sure each pilot has 31-32 extra missions and I believe each pilot has 28 collection missions....and about 65-71 avg friendship missions ( why some less converting to new type too fast or is newtype has a few less friendship missions then) .....36-38 free missions....and 30 license missions for most pilots.... download missions currently have 15... in total... If this was on xbox360....have completed all achievement points... Btw I also own this game on PS3 and Xbox360 NA release version I may as well put down my progress later on this when I progress further into both those versions. Uhh, from the list of pilots Richie posted, I bet he's mentioning his records in GM2, while that topic is supposed for GM1 records. So I decided to move his post here. Also, this will be the place where you will post your progress in GM2, how much % of completion you have done. Eh, you don't have to exactly follow my post. ^.^; But anyway in my post, the missions cleared one is for kinds of missions only, not all missions cleared with all characters. And feel free to beat the last 2 extra missions and immediately get 100% on R4 parts, but I personally has vowed to not clear them until I got all of them by other means.

steven i think it sorta makes sense to have 700 + missions... with that kind of shot down... he must've tried maxing out his mobile suits and learning all skills or maximizing lvls for a couple more pilots...... since you techincally can keep playing the Rain G Gundam friendship mission to farm for things like that. I would say probably 1400+ of my missions is pretty much that.... Also i haven't updated to the list in some while been doing too much with upgrading everyone to cyber new type and eventually new type... I don't really have a distinct count on this but i do have to say there is a lot more to go... it's almost like most cases i have to do a lot of faction missions to make it go faster.... but do to my work recently i'm exhausted.... don't have much time to play unless i'm on the weekends.... and since i pretty much beaten this game to death at times i feel motivated to try my other games more. If i had to make a wild guess excluding those that are new types to begin with may be i did about 10 or 12 already to newtype... Edited by Richie408, Mar 26 2009, 08:54 AM.

@steven:yes richie is correct about that, i AM making a movelist topic,i play gundam fight to see CPU only moves and test moves and setups,thus the insane amount of mission sortie but aside from that,my playstyle is also "kill aces,finish the stage quickly",which means i rarely clear fields unless i must do it,thus my below the average shotdown scores,most of the time i avoid the 1000 shotdown misions by quitting and replaying the stage hoping for the mission to change. as for maxing characters,gundam fight is also good for levelling AND skill learning,as for relationships i tend to go for the quiz instead nowadays,don't have the time to fool around>.< @richie:12 pilots? wow,that's still a lot of non newtypes,i wonder when will i finish doing mine>.< Edited by wodash, Mar 26 2009, 10:45 AM.

I only use the quiz once I use friendship mission 1,2,3 to increase my relationship with Jerid and Haman,that's maybe the reason why my shot down count is like that. I also play collection mission really often,and I get around 700 KO every run |

lol the real fast way for me to get shot downs is using aura burst on easy mode.... through most of the first 3 friendship missions.... since you don't really face aces in those.... so you just clear fields of grunts... usually about 100-120 or so per field..... another way to get tons of shot down is playing super hard extra missions just keep letting them respawn.... i recall always getting like 2700+ tops on those kind of missions.... it's a good way to sorta get shot downs when you need a lot of them to unlock stuff.... like zaku needs 4000 shot downs.... sazabi 3000... pretty much could finish those off in 1 or 2 missions even..... but the hard part is trying to kill off aces with weaker moved suits usually heh... but remember even if you game over on those missions you retain the shotdowns... just sorta lose the completion pilot exp for the mission or any parts gained and what nots... another easy way to get shot downs is the dlc mission for Musha licenses.... since you have to kill 1000 grunt units for all the aces to appear... there is tons of fields with tons of grunts.... and you can also set it on easy here too.. we are soo different you and me>.<,for me the collection missions are pretty much pointless since at the time i get to play them i already unlocked every MS,as for rank 4 parts i thought i'll get them "eventually"(which i did,got all rank4 parts for every MS now,and only 4~5 MS rank 4 part is not maxed yet) the only time i play collection mission is to clear them(duh) which will unlock more missions usually,and also to get the 1000~4000 kills to unlock most of the grunt extra missions,and even then i use various characters to do it,and not focus on one character remember kids,the PS2 version makes you hate taking down a lot of grunts>.< |

The kind of progress I've done is Amuro's first set of Officials, Milliardo's Story Missions and basically randomly training several other suits in Mission Mode. |

Well I'm on 48 hours now. Just done a few stages with Cecily to get that story stage unlocked and used a few different suits. It's a nightmare spamming square all the way through with the lowest class, especially when having to face Psycho Gundam with not being able to charge a square. I had to wait for Uso to help me defeat the neverending boss... Otherwise I've just done Loran's story missions. Got the 10 Mission Mode trophy and the 100 missions trophy as well. But I posted that on another thread a few days ago. |

I'm on 63 hours, doing all I can with Amuro's Nu Gundam at the moment. I just find it a bit too much that you have to do many missions, the same ones, with every character. Some of these, once appearing, should be available to every character... Oh well, guess there's always something to do.

^yup,that's why i stopped for a while,everyone seems to be over hyped at first including me,but once you finished with one character(get everything,licenses,skills,etc) you will feel the repetitiveness once you focus on maxing another pilot... but that didnt stop richie and his 999.999 hrs(its capped on that number?) record to stop playing>.<,and IIRC he haven't turn all pilots into newtypes yet.... LOL wow, he's done well! What a fan! Though I'm not surprised that it takes longer than that. So does the timer clock and stop at 999 then, I wonder. At the end of the day though, it's not a bad thing if it still gives you time for another day. All the content started a bit overpowering, I just ended up picking randomly most of the way through. |

Yes from what i see it is capped at 999.99 or what nots. Also I have completed the newtype conversion and got everyone to lvl 50 but i was a bit lazy about fixing up everything above lol.... Technically I also went back to make everyone learn every skill and everyone to get all the licenses to fly every suit along with completing all the relationship tables for all characters to max and be able to play all missions and finishing them all. I was going to make a bigger update once I have actually done the similar things to the Xbox360 and PS3 NA versions which I also own. Only difference in terms of what PS3 and Xbox360 NA has to add is probably online vs mode and of course a better understanding of what the heck i'm doing lol. After may be converting all to newtype in the NA release I can see whats so good about the prize of it besides just reading a terminal message which i'm not too sure what it did for me since I did just about everything already in the game at the time. Hope this answers your guys questions on this. I also am not too sure if doing the online vs mode. Some of my friends love it they play on ps3 and are in the top 10 on the leader boards. I don't think i'm going to get into that as much as them at best may be for just the trophy or achievement point thats about it.I'll make an update later when I'm more into the game on NA releases. Btw i'm not really sure I really used up all the clock to 999.99 to do everything I lost track of time trying to do all things over probably more than likely it did when i tried learning every skill for every character...that was a pain in the wazoo...
