...Or can you? I made this poll because I'd like to see how similar we are when it comes to playing KOEI games. What is your KOEI game cycle? "There's never a point when I'm not playing a KOEI game." Simple. If you're always playing some sort of KOEI game without any periods of non-KOEI, choose this. "I play them, get bored for a small period of time, then start again." You play a KOEI game, then you get bored of the entire 3 Kingdoms/Sengoku Era/etc. concept, so you stop. But you can never stop playing, so after a short period (about a month or 2) you get back on the KOEI train. "I play them, get bored for a long time, then start again." You play the games, you get bored of them, and it takes you a couple of months to jump back on the KOEI train. "I don't play KOEI games (even though I'm on a KOEI game board...)" You don't play KOEI games and your appearance on this forum is questionable...  "Other (Please State)" If none of the choices describe you, then choose this. Then describe your method. ----------------------------- I chose "I play them, get bored for a small period of time, then start again." When I play DW/SW, I play them a lot for a long period of time. Then eventually, I play less and less until I stop playing entirely (to play other games or whatever else I'm doing). But I get in the mood to play some DW/SW after a short period of time (a month or two) and then the cycle starts again. What about you guys? |

I play them, get bored for a small period of time, then start again. I do that with every Warriors game I have. It's mainly because I start to enjoy the game and then either finish it by the end of the month or I just start to lose interest in the game itself and play something that isn't KOEI related. In some case, I stop playing them after seeing information released for other games I rather play like Strikeforce and Empires. |

Other I play moderately when I have the chance, playing each game until complete, so I don't really get bored. Once the game is complete, I move on to the next one. Its been that way since SW2: SW2 > WO > SW2:XL > WO2 Though I played SW + SW:XL and DW4 + DW4:XL before this, I played even less often than I do now, hence why I wasn't a member here until '07  I guess playing in moderation helps to keep me from getting bored. SW2 bodyguard EXP grinding was about the closest I've come to wanting to stop playing KOEI games. Thankfully, WO saved me from that

i've always got KOEI games in rotation. i have backwards compatible PS3, 360 and PSP. so one of them always has a Warriors game in it. |

me? i remembered playing dw5 on my laptop about a year or so ago. then i switched to playing c&c: kanes wrath,fifa 08 and 09, racedriver grid, red alert 3 and other koei games(wo,dw6....).. but nowadays, i returned to playing dw5 again...odd huh

There was a time when I was an option 1 type! I played Koei games at least an hour whenever I was on my Playstation. And it seems I was never going to get bored. These days however, I hardly play Koei games. I think that's partly because of WO2 prof. grinding but also for the fact that there aren't much improvements from WO to WO2. Another factor is probably because I don't have a current gen console! Otherwise I think I would play DW6, Bladestorm, DW Gundam like there's no tomorrow!

Yeah, I chose the 2nd choice, get bored a little and go back to the Koei games  But I do notice that the longer the time between playing each game, the more I seem to enjoy it when I finally play it again most likely because its like a new game again

its usually,musou games,bored,kessen,bored,some gundam game,bored,SB,tired,some random funny RPG,bored,a new musou game.............. but in 2008~2009 its all musou for me,starting from WO2~DW6S~and straight to GM2 this is a new record! |

The second option. I also have a Wii and a DS. Sure on the PS2 I mostly play Koei games nowadays, but on the Wii I still have plenty of others to play and beat. |

I play KOEI Games but I also play others video games so there're always a period I don't play them to play others. And if I'm busy with homework or job I can't play too during a period ^^''''' I picked the 2nd option too, but after thinking about that, maybe I should have picked option "Others" because I rarely get bored at some video games. XD |

I play when a new games comes out, like a big release like the latest Warriors game. Then I'll play it for a month or so before getting bored. Probably play it a few more times, but never to the same extent. Of course, when I was new to KOEI, I was playing DW3 and DW4 CONSTANTLY. There was just so much to do. |

When I get a new game like WO, then I play it for quite a while, like three straight months, then I get bored and move on to other games untill the next Warrior game release. So once ive gotten bored of the game, then I will basically never come back to it. I really dont expect myself to play WO2 again, also mainly cause of WOZ in which I plan to get. About a month ago, when I had no game to play at the moment, I played like 2 levels on DW6, in which I had not played the game since I first got bored of it about 2 months after its release. |

I play the game for a long time, then get bored for a long time, then play the game again. Its more fun if i don't play for a long time, makes it seem like i just got the game. |
