The God Ov Proficiency Farming Posts: 18 Group: Members Member #20,510 Joined: January 22, 2009 Gender Male	I love Fu Xi's Holy Avenger, because he reminds me so much of the Dio song 'Holy Diver'. It's backed up by when he says: "You sound like you're on stage" Another good one is "Eternal Agony" It sound so...Orochi-like... Any others?

Sergeant Posts: 25 Group: Members Member #9,629 Joined: September 11, 2007 Gender Female	I have the german subbed WO version, so I don't know if it makes sense to tell my favourits here, 'cause I don't know the english names... -.- I like the name of Ranmaru's Lv.4 Weapon - I would translate it as "Iron Revenge" Oh... and I made a reading mistake first when I got Mitsunari's second weapon... Called "Fujis Anmut" (grace) in german. Instead of this I read "Fujis Armut" (poverty) ^^"

Fu Xi's 4th takes the cake for me. "Fu Xi's Sword" . How much more uncreative can you get ? It might be that they just transferred the sword names from DW5:Empires generic swordie but still, damn. Another notable mentions: - SSX's Sol Sacram (4th) feels out of place when the weapons before it were related to Moon (Moon, Luna) - Liu Bei's Gold Dragon (3th) evolving into Gold Moon Dragon (4th) sounds again very uncreative. - Same as earlier goes for Guan Yu's Blue Dragon (3th) and Blue Moon Dragon (4th). - Oichi's Cup & Ball etc. Why not call it by its proper name ? forgot the toy's name - All X & X type weapon names mostly sound silly from SW series. - Bone Grinder (3th of Shimazu) I remember one female friend of mine always throwing sexual innuendos out of XD That's all I can remember right off the scratch.

The only 4ths that remained in Japanese were Kai-Basara and Shiranui...and theyre not even ultimate weapons. sigh Takemikazuchi ;_;

I really miss names like Susano, Tonbo-giri, Shichitsuka and Ichimonji >_>. me too. the Anglicized version just seemed so dull. some of my favorites were Goemon's Takemikazuchi, Ranmaru's Kamudo, and Noh's Hiruko(which roughly translates to "a** r*pe".) Oichi's "Cup and Ball/Cup and Gold" are so plain to me after "Sumire/Sakura" from SW1. Okuni's "Raging Sun" is basically a translation of her Japanese 4th, but does not sound as nice as "Hikage".

It has been so long since I last played SW1, I never owned it myself, just had it from my friend until I got all storymodes done sob sob That explains much. All weapons I can remember being dragon-something. (1th-4th, not taking into account 5th's and such from Xtreme series) - Liu Bei's and Guan Yu's weapons, already mentioned earlier. - Guan Ping's Flying Dragon (3th) and Young Dragon (4th) - Ling Tong's Dragon Fury (4th). Somewhat silly 3th is Rising Phoenix, funny evolving of weapon name from a phoenix to.. dragon. - Zhao Yun's Dragon Spear (3th, TOTALLY ORIGINAL!) and Fierce Dragon (4th). - Yukimura's Dragon's Tail (4th). - Hanzo's Chained Dragon (4th, OK, this does sound silly to me) So OK there is definetely many dragons out there.

All they did was throw the wielder's name in the weapon and called it good. You also forgot Toshiie's Dragon's Bite in the list of dragon weapons.
	Prepare for a laugh! A good comparison video for Orochi and Shin Orochi.

Thanks, ain't remembering too well the characters included in the Xtreme series's. I found Huang Gai's Shadow Rod (EDIT: 3th) and Dark Shadow (4th) a bit odd weapon names for someone such as Huang Gai. Why such a dark and menacing weapon name for a character who uses bombs as a weapon ? Why not following the fire line of the other Wu members ? started to just think how harsh sexual innuendo would "Explosive Rod" make OK, point taken, but maybe something like uh... Raging Rod or uh.. Heck something else than shadows it doesn't just fit Huang Gai imo at all ! Edited by RedFoxxie, Jan 31 2009, 11:28 AM.
