I don't want DoA in my Dissidia! :lol: Dissidia was delayed to improve on the game system, plus no NG or DoA game have been made for the PSP so it's unlikely that would happen. It's too bad I don't think very highly of the Ninja Gaiden and DOA franchises. It's hard to take DOA seriously with girls in bikinis prancing around, as well as a fighting system that emphasizes button mashing. That;s all I ever got from it. Ninja Gaiden has yet to have impressed me too. I tried the demo for NG Sigma for PS3, and walked away unimpressed. Just a very generic hack 'n slash to me. Nothing new or exciting. With the current sales details on Ninja Gaiden II selling 1 million copies, at least there is some incentive for Square Enix to pick up the company. Ninja Gaiden II skewers 1M

I've found the DOA series to be pretty bland, and I'm indifferent towards Ninja Gaiden. Only game I'm really worried about if Square Enix takes over is the Fatal Frame series.

I feel Fatal Frame is fine as is. Much of the scare-factor is in exploring a dark and intimidating environment as a seemingly weak and helpless main character and facing apparitions face to face with nothing more than a camera that can seal spirits away. I personally think that Square Enix gameplay will definitely diminish the fear Fatal Frame is known to foster in its players.

This is good news and bad news. First of all, Tecmo has games already that KOEI has like Monster Rancher and Gallop Racer and KOEI has the new Monsters game and G1 Jockey. Also KOEI could merge into Tecmo which would really suck, but that would probably not happen. Tecmo doesn't have a whole lot of games and it's easy to see that their in financial trouble (lawsuits).

Lets see what will happen now..Merge both companies, will it work?? keep us informed Crimson.
