Was it perfect? No, but it managed to sparke my interest in Gundam and made me the Gundam obsessed fan that I am today.

Despite what everyone says..."It's just a rehash of the original MS Gundam"..."Kira is such a crybaby"..."The ending was too rushed"...etc.., it was the Gundam series that got me back into Gundam. I mean I loved Wing, 08th and G, but 0080 and 0083, though entertaining, got me getting very bored with Gundam. Then SEED came out and for some reason it blew me away, and no series I've seen since then, old (Zeta, ZZ, Victory) or new (DESTINY, 00, Stargazer), just hasn't topped that feeling I got when I first saw SEED. It's also one of the few series I can actually watch over without getting bored.

With the exception of Wing, 0083 and SEED/GSD, I do think that most Gundam productions are very well done. However, the three I've listed, in my opinion, have a perfect balance of character development, action and believability.

Loved every minute of it. 0083 - Regardless of how short it is, 0083 is still an awesome gundam series. Wing - Like a lot of people, Wing got me into Gundam. And I actually liked the story.

General Posts: 236 Group: Members Member #20,864 Joined: February 22, 2009 Gender Male	G Gundam will always stick out for me despite it's horrible world stereotypes(neo mexico space station was a sombrero!!) and epic cheeseyness, it had heart~! and half way threw i just ended up at the edge of my seat every episode to see what happand next, it also has my fav gundam ending For UC, Zeta would be my fav, the charecters in particuler were all fantastic, made the finale even worse for me x__x though i do prefer the movie version ending of zeta gundam, thus it's canon to me~! (i'll just pretend kamile retired at the start of ZZ nod nod

Gaia Gear is one I've been learning more and more about, and it's easily one of my favorites if only for the designs. G-Saviour has some cool characters and designs, and some excellent music.

I'm gonna give every nation a Gundam, pit 'em all against each other and then throw Devil Gundam in there to little by little mess it all up. Oh, and this one Gundam has glowing fingers and shite". It hooked me from the very first episode. The unique twist on controlling the Gundam (Which makes the most sense of any), the Shining Finger deal, the hot-bloodedness of the whole thing which at the time I didn't even realize. A more straightforward plot with action and with Master Asia and Domon Kasshu at the center of it? Good. Exploding God Finger and insane techniques with Gundams glowing gold? Great. Devil Gundam becomes a freakin' colony and Rain gets into that suit? Good jeebus sign me up. And it actually had a happy ending. It was entertaining and it had a happy ending. This is huge for Gundam. After G though I'm liking Zeta Gundam. Damn you Kamille, damn you Scirocco, damn you Haman! And especially damn you** everybody getting hit at some point which makes it so damn entertaining to watch!
