One of the last updates for the game was that those characters that appeared in the first SW game get their alternate outfits from there, and the DW6 costumes go to those people from within that title. Those that do not appear just get new fittings. Which are you excited about? Or any you would think will be funny to see? I think characters like Wei Yan's DW6 costume will go well with his breakdancing and fire breath R1, but then there will most likely be people who will look or act extremely odd. |

Actually I'm of the opposite opinion of Wei Yan there, breakdancing in plate armor just doesn't look good. But it would be funny to see DW6 Yuan Shao to do DW5's C1...... |

I certainly can't imagine DW6's Sun Quan with DW5 moveset. He looks more like a warrior in DW6 so it's strange to see him with "ruler" moveset. |

Yeah now that I think about it... Sun Jian and Sun Ce would look pretty weird too. Sun Jian awesome outfit with one of the most copied movesets in the game (ruler). Sun Ce DW6 costume for me just doesn't mesh well with tonfas, the breastplate/armour ruins one aspect but throw in a cape (see clipping striking with a vengeance) Edited by Lord_Redhand, Feb 9 2009, 03:31 PM.

Which I am excited about: - Zhuge Liang: just love the costume. - Cao Cao: he looks more like the ruler of Wei. - Sima Yi: he looks more Chinese and detailed. - Ling Tong: he has some armor, and I prefer that hair. - Zhou Tai: he looks more like a warrior with that armor. - Dong Zhuo: I dunno... I just love it! - Lu Bu: he is the most fearsome in that black armor. - Yukimura: a real samurai! - Nobunaga: it is just great. Which I am not certain about: - Cao Pi: his outfit is more ruler-like, but his hair is not very Chinese... - Xu Huang: his outfit is great, but the fact that he has no armor on his arms... - Zhang He: the high heels... - Taishi Ci: great, but also no armor on his arms. - Tadakatsu: he is fearsome, but I prefer his SW2 outfit. Which I despise: - Guan Yu: spiky hair. - Ma Chao: blond hair... (well, Keiji has it too, I don't like it neither). - Pang Tong: he is a moth... - Wei Yan: always wanted to appear in Steve Irwin's show... - Zhao Yun: behold! It's the warriors from the future! - Xu Zhu: superheroes! - Gan Ning: blond hair... - Huang Gai: wanted to be with the hells angels with that mohawk? - Sun Jian: with that sword? Nah. - Sun Quan: same thing. - Ranmaru: what the... !? - Okuni: very Japanese... - Shingen: I guess I don't have to explain this. - Hideyoshi: well, I don't like it. That's it. |

This update for the DW6 costume is just awesome. I have always wanted to use DW 6 costume with old fashion skills and this is a dream come true! I really like this because... Mitsuhide in battosai clothing Oishi is in her.... fox wear? Zhao yun looks better wearing white and yellow, blue green etc. Guan yu, tbh I hate this costume. He is a guy who wears GREEN, not red. The statue are always green, not red Ina is no longer fat lolz Lubu in that black armour, what more can we ask Can't wait for this, but then I think... damn I need to ask my mum to buy it again for me... from hong kong lol Edited by Oreadia, Feb 10 2009, 02:39 AM.

Yeah, Yuan Shao would look pretty epic with his C1 and True Musou finale. And yeah, I reckon this could turn Lu Bu into one of the best form & moveset yet. Plus this could actually be a good thing for Ma Chao's outfit as well. Many more players would likely use it compared to the likely few that did when finding out he had a shared moveset in DW6. Hecks yeah.Wei Yan's outfit in Dynasty Warriors 6 for the win. Well, I'm excited for just about everyone to have their Dynasty Warriors 6 costumes in the game, just some more than others.I'm [more]excited about: Dong Zhuo: I hope his proportion is the same in both games. Though, I don't think his weapon will be big enough to match the size. Zhang Jiao: I just love his new design and mane. Cao Ren: Roc's size will definitely match with the new Cao Ren. Hanzo Hattori: White ninja? Oh hell yeah. Not excited about: Lu Bu: His armor just doesn't match the Sky Scorcher anymore. Zhou Yu: Egh, his new design just isn't as great for the Elder Sword as the previous one. Zhang Liao: The European style doesn't match the halberd anymore, in my opinion. Sun Ce: As mentioned before, the tonfas don't match the armor. Sima Yi: Ni. |

Hmm, i'm especially curious whether or not Oichi or Masamune will be having their "original" costumes. Masamune's gonna look so funny if so. |

KW showed us some in the updates awhile back. and i'm trying to find them as well.. and some dw6 costume gameplay. i only found ling tong. and i think i saw liu bei with dw6 costume + mustache. EPIC FAIL |

For me, the unsuitable DW6 costumes for DW5 moves are: Liu Bei, Guan Yu (what the hell?! pants?!), Pang Tong (breakdance fever man with moth costume), Wei Yan, Zhou Yu, Sun Jian, Sun Ce, Sun Shang Xiang, Sun Quan, Gan Ning, Zhang Liao, Dian Wei, Lu Bu, Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shao (the hair and face just unmatched!), Zhang Jiao. The best are: Cao Pi, Xiahou Dun, Huang Zhong (Kung Fu Men!!!), Yue Ying, Xiahou Yuan, Zhen Ji, and Zhou Tai! |

I like a bit all ... but I wonder why the fox dressed as a Oichi ... could not put them in SW1 already WO2? As well as Masamune ... and now comment all of the characters I like. Zhen-Ji = Costume in DW6, so fantastic! Kunoichi = new dress, a beautiful and highly original, even if the black and purple do not beat anyone. Oichi = I am a little disgusting ... would have had to explain to SW1! >: ( Motochika = Change only the color ... Bleah! Mitsunari = Change only the color ... Bleah! Ginchiyo = Change only the color ... Bleah! Noh and Okuno = I have always dreamed of using them with these clothes in WO! ... and then there are others, some nice, some monstrous ... but I did not want to write them all

well from what i have seen so far, sun ce should use his older costumes due to the tonfas.. he looks kinda wierd in a cape with tonfas... zhou yu is awesome in new costume with sword... i like it. diao chan in dw6 is hot even with maces.. is a matter of fact maces are better for her.. ummm oh cao pi looks great but using his old weapons ehhhhh welll..... who else did i get the 4th costume for ummmmm...i think that's it for now.. update later.. |
