Obsessive Yue Ying Fan OMG Posts: 1,696 Group: Members Member #9,822 Joined: September 20, 2007 Gender Male	I really hope she gets a somewhat different ENG actress compared to her JP one; I'm not a fan (I think Michelle Ruff as Shang Xiang is the best example; love her but hate Shoku's seiyuu). Otherwise, I like it. Unfortunately, it's par the course for KOEI's new Musou female character designs, but it could have definitely been alot worse (much worse) - plus, she has the entire mystical excuse going on. Love her weapon; I've been waiting for someone who fights with sleeves for a while . I hope her 4th isn't the pink sleeve bit; not much of a fan but I love the red one. And I'm using 'she' rather loosely considering I think she's a bit of a trap :lol:. But hey. I'm really happy that she appears very kind-hearted and friendly - considering the mystics we've been introduced to tend to be either kind but mysterious (Fu Xi & Zuo Ci) or snappy and snarky (Nu Wa & Taigong Wang), it's nice to see a played-it-straight-friendly one.

Like Qing Long said, I would agree with her that she looks like Gracia too. Looks like KOEI knows how to make an characters. Futhermore, her weapon looks very weird. Using long sleves as her weapon. I wonder how her move lists would be. Not to say with 'Almighty'.

As some of you already said, it seems in one screenshots, that she is trying to reconcile Taigong Wang & Da Ji >> http://koeiwarriors.co.uk/screenshots/moz/s039.jpg (but we may mistaken or interpret bad this screenshot) If she's naive as Himiko, maybe someone manipulate her to be in the Orochi side. By the way, yes, she come from the same story as Sun Wukong.

It is already 100% confirmed it is Sanzang. I know a lot of people speculate otherwise because its a girl, but Sanzang has always been depicted as a female in Japan.

Anyway, Is it just me but I find that video disturbing when everybody looks at her in astonishment and poor Magoichi thinks she is obviously beautiful. I just find her a total creep. It's like, sleeping with a girl and finding out she had a d**k . Sorry, I won't use that terminology again but, yeah, I find this girl bizare. Same goes with her voice .

Once again, I repeat, KOEI DID NOT change Sanzo. Sanzo is female in several versions of Saiyuki in Japan, Koei decided to use that version of Sanzo so stop being ridiculous homophobes about the entire thing. Some of those versions had Guan Yin as a man, too, y'know. Multiple times with folklore and mythical beings/gods, sometimes gender of a person/god is not clearly defined(or in some they are both male AND female,) or is just different in different stories. This doesn't change anything actually important.
