I just looked on Wikipedia on Samurai Warriors 3. Though it's a really unreliable place for Samurai Warriors 3 information, it had a source for Kunoichi's confirmation. G.K Bowes' website has information that she'll be voicing Kunoichi in Samurai Warriors 3. She's the actor who voiced Kunoichi in Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends, and Sun Shang Xiang in Dynasty Warriors 6. Here's her website: Her Website. If you go over to the "Resume" section in the top menu, it should be listed under "Video Games/Interactive". So, now that Kunoichi is "confirmed" for an appearance in Samurai Warriors 3, do you think she'll have the same personality, as she came with the same voice actor? Or perhaps she'll take on a different persona? Is there more chance that the unknown character screenshot is in fact Kunoichi? ...Discuss. |

She's either a Ninja because Kunoichi in Japanese means "Female Ninjia" AFAIK or this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anayama_Kosuke#Anayama_Kosuke Interesting though. |

Bah, I hope not. There's no reason KOEI couldn't just make her into Mochizuki Chiyome, who was an actual kunoichi and would have a place in the game, instead of some nameless and fictional one. |

Mochizuki Chiyome is not a kunoichi, but rather a recruiter of many kunoichi. Besides, they already replaced Kunoichi with Nene in SW2. Isn't "Did I just do that all by myself" enough? Edited by BlueCaper, Feb 28 2009, 04:56 AM.

How can this be true? The game is still in development and won't be released til probably later this year in Japan. I seriously doubt that they have already lined up english voice actors. It's probably just a mix up on her part/web designer because there's no mention of Samurai Warriors 1 in her resume, only SW1:XL. So yeah this isn't confirmed. |

Well, Kunoichi's voice was different in SW and SW XL. Maybe they are planning to actually release the US and JP versions around the same time for once. Or at least closer like they used to. Though her XL voice wasn't as good as her original

Hmmm, well I thought she was always a funny character,  although I would really want Chiyome!!They could just make Chiyome say, ''I have returned!'' During one part of the game. It could imply that Kunoichi has returned, but at the same time she is new and is under the name Chiyome. |

its innteresting isn't it? i really hope she comes back to this game cuz she is much better than nene, i would probly like nene if she hadn't replaced kunoichi, i hope they keep her as kunoichi too but who knows for sure they might giver her a name. wait, i just thought of something, maybey her resume meant she would be doing all the kunoichi voices in the game, like when they get hit, i hope not but its possiblr |

God I hope not. The only reason I would meagerly accept her return with open arms is because she's in SW and not DW which is my preference over the two. Therefore it isn't DW that is getting 'ruined'. Anyway, on topic. I think this is interesting as there's a possibility of her coming back. She's better than Nene and Kunoichi didn't have a quite so annoying voice. SW needs a better ninja than either of them to be honest though. Nene wasn't so important and she ruined Hideyoshi, he can live without her. Also, the major problem I have with Kunoichi is fictionality. I have a firm hated towards characters that are put in these games who weren't real. I hate how someone made up takes away a real historical figures heroics. If this woman is doing a voice for SW3 'Kunoichi', I hope she means like a random ninja woman character, the character that sounds like all the rest. That would make me happy-er  . NO MORE FICTIONALS!

well acctually she is based on the FEMALE leader of a ninja clan that served sanada nobuyuki, though im not sure if this is real or from a book...... i forgot. |

'Based' characters still annoy me anyway. Not as bad as completely fictional though. You'l have to check that book wether she is or not  . Kinda hope she wasn't, more excuse to bash her then oj.

I don't mind if she returns, as long as Nene isn't kicked out. Just give Nene a total overhaul in terms of the fighting department, and keep Kunoichi like this. Kunoichi was a really great foil to both Inahime and more importantly, Yukimura. |

i think its real because in the same article it discusses yuki hideyasu who was a real person and would be a great add to the game ( he was ieyasu's unwanted son who later fights against him in the battle of sekeigahara) but i dont care about fiction, the game is better with her and ten i agree with you whole heartidly Edited by Xanxus, Mar 16 2009, 06:11 PM.

Kunoichi is based off of Mochizuki Chiyome and the Sanada Ten Braves. In SW1, she filled both of the roles, being a Takeda kunoichi and servant to Yukimura. However, I see no reason why KOEI couldn't just put an actual name to her(Chiyome) and make her historical. They wouldn't even have to change much about her, if they're going to keep going with Yukimura being a Takeda retainer. |

no, i think your right wenze, but his is confusing me so is yuki hideyasu real cuz it explains him too but since the female ninja clan is wrong i want to know if he is real or not. and thats true, burning devil scholar if you dont like fictional characters than you must hate all the girls in the dw and sw series since they never fought in war

Yuki Hideyasu is definitely real. He is, as you described, the second son of Ieyasu who was disliked by his father. He was adopted and made a hostage by Toyotomi Hideyoshi as part of the peace deal after Komaki-Nagakute and campaigned in Kyushu, Odawara, and Korea for him. He later became the head of the Yuki Clan after marrying Yuki Hartomo's niece. As for the other females, the difference is that, while they may not have fought, they were at least actual people, or, in the case of Diao Chan and Zhu Rong, real in the novel. |

I think they should stop all the fiction made characters such as Kunoichi and Zuo Ci. Most of the other characters are believable to extent but when Koei make up characters they tend to go O.T.T, does that make sense?... |
