I personally chose DW4 as the best, purely due to the fact that I like most of the tracks form it, more so than from any other Dynasty Warriors soundtrack. It had a nice mix. My favourite track off the album would definitely be "Eve" with "Avenging Battle" and "Evil Festival" not far behind. |

Of course, my favorite was 3. All the build-up at the end of Musou mode when you defeat it and shows all the people you killed in each battle= Pure beauty. Also love the music when it shows you partying with allies at the end as well. 3rd best music in DW3 is Battle at Hu Lao Gate when you have more morale:):) I have got to say DW2 & 3. Nothing like some awesome guitar shredding to get you in the mood for a gigantic massacre of the enemy!  -------------- Waiting US release of Phantasy Star 0 |

Without a doubt DW6 has the best soundtrack. I don't think there is a track that dosn't fit the stage  . I find myself randomly playing some of the tracks from the game I have downloaded. I think the reason I like the music of 6 so much is because of how bad 5s music was. Argh, It was awful, there wasn't a half decent track at all. Actually I'm lying a bit there, 'Great Red Spirit' (I think that's waht it's called) was pretty damn good and the character selection was to, but that is about it. Wu Zhangs music was pretty crap though in 5 and that always had beastie soundtrack, also, them bits when the character spoke at the beginning of every stage in their music and you had to listen to some horrible music e.g. 'Intelligent Boys', 'Hi Dear' or 'His Way'.Anyway, DW6 soundtracks give all the stages a certain feel that I can associate all the moments with. I perticularly like the 'Genius Sanctuaries', 'A Great Giant', 'Irratation' and 'Tropical Wars' soundtracks, I like them all .Apart from 6, DW4 had some pretty good tunes in it aswell for its time and I can't complain about 3 either. Perhaps (if ever) DW7 comes out that will become my favorite  , and DW6 will just become 'good' like the others. But still, 6 soundtrack is my favorite, and DW5 soundtrack will always by me considered to of gone drastically wrong as I never ever liked it .Oh, however, In DW5 Fan Castle had its own soundtrack which pleased me greatly. That was one of the highs for DW5 music as it will always be my favorite stage in all DW games .

Hmmm for some reason DW3's ost always stuck with me as my fav, dw2 i can't even remember, dw4 was terrible and dw5 was okay, dw6 is closest to dw3 in my opinion |

@foomin: What I think it's, is the fact that with 2's and 3's OST's, both the uprising and appropriate themes play together with the colourful art style of the games. People tend to grow more into this and come back wanting more. DW4 was dark and mysterious, many tunes being the same, except for mayhem tracks like Eve which have a positive and uplifting effect on that game. 5's Dual NRG is like the only track I especially love in that game and it's just really a glorius tune to fight to, especially for a grand castle. So I think most people prefer to listen to happy and joyful music songs rather than songs that are just epic and masterful pieces. This could play into effect to some extent. DW2-3: - Yellow Storm - Sacred Ground - The Force Field (Opening Edit) DW4: - Eve - Straight Ahead - The Wall of Fate - Struggle for Existence - Look Back On Your Way - Your Dynastic Line DW5: - Memories - Living Through - Change The World DW6: - Ignition - A Ways Away - Welcome to China - The Two Heroes - The Battle Without Justice - Rock And Roll Over - Geniuse's Sanctuaries - Dawn of the Wish - The Crest of Thirst All: - In Conclusion Was just listening to all the DW OSTs just a while ago as a refresher, these were the ones that caught me most right now and most of them I would consider good... favorite is still Sacred Ground after all this time, Geniuse's Sanctuaries is a good theme for Wu Zhang Plains unlike its two predecessors... |

In Dynasty Warriors 3, i liked Chase the Wave, Last Stand, The Men of Intelligence, Exotic Traitors, Arena and Power&Glory. In Dynasty Warriors 4, i liked the He Fei theme, Heavy Gauge, Struggle for Existence and Lu Bu theme. In Dynasty Warriors 5, i liked Persistent Fellows, Lu Bu's theme and that's all i think. In Dynasty Warriors 6, i liked Before the Storm, Geniuses Sanctuary, Ignition, A Battle Without Justice and Chaotic Field. I liked so much themes, don't remember all of them!! |

They're all pretty good, but as soon as I heard even one song in DW6's OST, I immediately loved it. It's arguably the heaviest OST in the series. Plus, I've got this habit of playing air guitar when I'm hearing Rock and Roll Over. It's just... catchy. Up until then, it was just maybe three, four songs tops from the other OSTs. I even made a habit of picking songs in DW5E that best fit the character. Arena from DW3 just fit one of my CAWs and SSX perfectly. |

Dynasty Warriors 2 & 3 are the exact same except 3 has more music. DW4 OST are great and has the best Lu Bu's Theme from all DW Series but overall DW 3 is better. DW 5 are awesome too and I can't tell which is better in the Music & OST , DW3 or DW5. Both of them are great and very enjoyable to listen to. Lu Bu's Theme for DW3 is better than 5 and " Tyrant " Music From DW3 is just out of this world. But still DW5 has more music and OST than DW3 and they are also very good. Well, in conclusion I think DW 3 & 5 are both the best in music and OST in all The DW Series |

The Dynasty Warriors 3 music will always be my favourite because there are tracks I just love SO MUCH and have always been attached to!!!! There is so much energy in it! <333 Dynasty Warriors 6 is Mind Blowing, the Music is Incredible..I love how there is a mix of Rock but also the Chinese Instruments!
