"we have the advantage,but let's proceed with calm"chapter 3:battle of mikatagahara.."to glory" takeda army-shingen takeda,katsuyori takeda,masatoyo naito,masatane hara,nobufusa baba,sakon shima,masakage yamagata,nobushige oyamada,nobukimi anayama,yoshimasa kiso,yukimura sanada.reinf:none oda-tokugawa:ieyasu tokugawa,tadakatsu honda,hanzo hattori,yasumasa sakakibara,naomasa li,tadatsugu sakai,tadazane honda,tadatsugu matsui,yoshinobu natsume,yorinobu tokugawa,moritsuna watanabe,kyabuzuro suzuki,nobumori sakuma and hirohide hirate.reinf:none in the beginning,the takeda army will charge.don't worry about the four officers who die in sw2.they will be killed by your comrades.you have bigger trouble.as you all know,tadakatsu fought against masatoyo in the real battle.that's the point.when your men charge against ieyasu,tadakatsu will come to you.meanwhile,the oda will begin their withdrawal.sakon pursues then,and will make them be busy.yukimura will guard katsuyori.everything is okay.but,when the 4 tokugawa officers + hirohide are slain,hanzo will wound shingen,who will withdraw.the hotheaded katsuyori will charge against hanzo.there,things will get interesting.you have to finish off tadakatsu and rescue katsuyori,as yukimura withdrew to keep shingen safe.he will be surrounded by hanzo,yasumasa and naomasa.okay.when you save him,probably your army will be affected.nobukimi,nobufusa,yoshimasa and nobushige will be defeated,leaving you,katsuyori,masatane and masakage against ieyasu and his remnants 3 officers.but ieyasu speed will increase.go through the garrison where you begin,and you'll reach hamamatsu.once there, defeat ieyasu.don't worry about katsuyori,he will retreat.but take care.when katsuyori is surrounded,if you leave him be for more than 3 minutes you lose. conditions:first:victory.defeat ieyasu defeat.shingen or katsuyori is defeated,or ieyasu escapes. second.defeat ieyasu and protect masatoyo and katsuyori to complete:sakon will be wounded by the oda in the meantime,and both him and the oda will withdraw Edited by Zhuge Zhan, Sep 30 2009, 02:07 AM.

basically,hidetsugu will be with the western attackers.his stage will be equal to hideyoshi's and nene's in sw2. 4th stage:struggle at mt koya hidetsugu was ordered to commit seppuku by hideyoshi,but refused(this would be a what if stage).then,hideyoshi besieged him and destroyed most of his army at mt koya.but hope is not lost.you have the support of kanbei kuroda,who thinks you should be next in toyotomi line.also,tadaoki hosokawa wants to help you escape alive and norihide matsuda(traitor to the hojo) does not like hideyoshi anymore,and feels in danger.hideyoshi has 5 times more generals than you have by your side,and this battle will need bravery toyotomi rebels: hidetsugu toyotomi kanbei kuroda tadaoki hosokawa norihide matsuda reinf:none toyotomi army: hideyoshi toyotomi mitsunari ishida masanori fukushima kiyomasa kato yoshiaki kato naomasa li naokatsu li naotaka li toshiie maeda toshinaga maeda yasumasa sakakibara tadasuke okubo tadayo okubo yoshitsugu otani yukinaga konishi time,if you are fast,hideyoshi's army will be cut in half.but norihide let his bravery get the best of him,and is surrounded by kato and maeda guys.you don't have much to do,just head to sakakibara and li clan and defeat them as well.by this time,norihide is killed.your army is now outnumbered by two yo one.but kanbei and tadaoki are separated.kanbei is surrounded by maeda,and tadaoki by kato guys.if you rescue kanbei first,he will be by your side.if you rescue tadaoki first,then pray.he will tell you he will retreat,and kanbei will be badly hurt,but you can save him.you'll have 3 minutes to do it.if you do it,just destroy hideyoshi.if you rescue kanbei first,tadaoki will not be in a bad situation,but you'll still need to save him.the thrre will head to the toyotomi main camp.defeat hideyshi fast,and do not let your allies alone,as they can die fast.after you defeat hideyoshi and mitsunari,congratulations.you won.if you think this was exciting,wait to see sekigahara.if you Hojo Ujiyasu Siege of Kawagoe (Hojo vs Imagawa/Uesugi) 1st Siege of Odawara Castle (Hojo vs Uesugi) Batte of Kondai (Hojo vs Satomi) 2nd Siege of Odawara (Hojo vs Takeda) Battle of Mimasetoge (Hojo vs Takeda) Decisive Kanto Battle (Hojo vs Takeda vs Uesugi) *Fictional Dream: Final Siege of Odawara (Hojo vs Toyotmi) Siege of Kawagoe Ujiyasu and Kotaro are the Hojo PCs in this level with Imagawa Yoshimoto, Uesugi Norimasa, Uesugi Tomasada and Ashikaga Haruuji as joint commanders for the enemy intially, and Kenshin showing up later under the name of Nagao Kagetora. Hojo Tsunanari is holding Kawagoe castle which is under siege by the joint enemy forces. Ujiyasu sets out with a Hojo relief force to break the siege despite being heavily outnumbered by the allied armies. Ujiyasu and Kotaro start off with the advance forces far from the actual siege itself. Imagawa Ujichika will be holding a fort nearby and the first order of business is to capture it and clear the way for the rest of the relief force to arrive. Kotaro will then go ahead and scout for a possible hidden path, later he will then return and tell of a backroad which is lightly guarded, Ujiyasu and the Hojo relief force will then advance through the backroad having to take out several sentry forts as they go, otherwise they will trigger the alarm and the surprise attack will be foiled. Eventually Ujiyasu and co. will reach Kawagoe Castle and be directly behind the enemy forces, an event will then trigger where the Hojo army gets a massive morale boost and Hojo Tsunanari will open the gates and come out to fight. Around this time Kenshin will show up to assist the Uesugi and Uesugi Norimasa will start to retreat. Kenshin will rush to help his "master" you will now have to elminate Norimasa before he can meet Kenshin, if Norimasa is defeated Kenshin will fight as normal, however if the two meet, Kenshin will escort Norimasa from the battlefield, appearing powered up and instant killing any of your officers if they get in the way, they will then withdraw together. Mop up the rest of the allied commanders including Yoshimoto to finish the stage. Edited by DarkDante, Oct 21 2009, 03:01 PM.

Battle of Kawagoe Fall of the Imagawa - Tokugawa-Takeda alliance vs. Imagawa remnants Battle of Mimasetoge Battle of Temmokuzan Siege of Ota castle Those are just some of them because I'm too lazy to post all  I would like to also see a three-way battle between Takeda, Uesugi and Hojo titled "Conquest for Kanto". One more thing would be that Numata castle should get it's own map (could appear in Ina's, Yukimura's and Kunoichi's story mode). |

I fully support the inclusion of Kawagoe and Mimasetoge. Temmokuzan itself wasn't much of a battle, so I think a "Fall of Takeda" campaign map would work better(this time, including the fall of Takatenjin, Iwamura and Kisofukushima castles.) In Kawagoe, it should be the small Hojo force against the massive Kanto alliance at first, then after the Hojo's successful night raid kills one of the two Uesugi leaders and destroys much of the alliance, Kenshin shows up with the Nagao as reinforcements for their side and is given control of the Uesugi by the remaining leader Norimasa. |

2nd and 3rd stages of masayuki sanada:same process as yukimura,but masayuki and yukimura would be together now,here comes the interesting stage 4th stage:struggle at ueda masayuki's tactic of the flooding against hidetada worked out,but after discovering that the eastern army won at sekigahara.the sanada morale was crushed,and the tokugawa began full assault.many officers were slain.now,masayuki and yukimura had to find a way to keep themselves alive.luckily,ieyasu would never come to battle,as he would not risk to lose to masayuki at this point(he knew masayuki was good even pressured).but the great tadakatsu honda,yasumasa sakakibara and ina were rushing to hidetada's side.and with nobuyuki safely retreating(request from masayuki,to keep the sanada clan safe),masayuki and yukimura gave their all for their lives..."mitsunari lost at sekigahara,but we cannot lose here" chapter 4-struggle at ueda castle... "to preserve the sanada" sanada army: masayuki sanada yukimura(nobushige,if they change) sanada genba karasawa bitchu kozuki yukishige yokotani reinf:none tokugawa army: hidetada tokugawa masanobu honda tadasuke okubo tadayo okubo ujishige niwa nobumasa okudaira kazumasa ishkawa tadatsugu sakai moritsuna watanabe yoshimasa tanaka reinf: tadakatsu honda ina tadamasa honda tadatomo honda yasumasa sakakibara map:a cliff behind ueda castle,several caves in the south area,a garrison to the northeast,the center is flooded,but you are being rushed from east and west. caves/garrisons to the east. this will be hard,but not impossible,as you'll see in my conditions.the only problem:your officers are scattered,and yukimura himself(the strongest),is charging hidetada with no effect.genba and yukishige in the west,and bitchu to the east are being forced back.help them.by that time,genba and bitchu retreat to ueda,and yukishige go east to aid yukimura.now begins the funny part.the tokugawa reinf will show up.detail:on the cliff that is behind genba and bitchu.yasumasa(pc)shows up at the direction of yukishige.yukimura life bar is 1/2.first,rescue genba and bitchu fast,as they won't last more than one minute,if not rescued(don't go far away from ueda after pushing back the tokugawa,because of the reinf).yukishige will be defeated fast even if rescued.now head to yasumasa,who defeated yukishige.take him out.now,only masanobu and hidetada rest.save yukimura(if possible),and take them out.you won(advice:my sw game would be very hard,even on easy,so train before getting 4th or fifth stages.the stage you would go would be available for you to train.don't worry,even if you die,you chars won't lose the levels you get) think this is hard.wait to see the 5th stage,that would not be osaka,but would be good |

To be honest, I fully expect either, if not both, Kawagoe and/or Mimasetoge to be in the game. The Storyline is right there. For Koei to miss it would be a serious blunder. But then again, look at how long it's taken the Mori to get some love. (What? It's true, even if it's from the mouth of a hardcore Mori fan.)

Well...since you're asking. I want some kind of stage dedicated to the capture and murder of Mitsuhide's mother, or in the very least some kind of mention of it. It's speculated that's one of the main reasons for Mitsuhide's betrayl, after all. The Korean Expeditions would be a GREAT new set of stages (or more accurately, a stage) with SO much potential. I suppose the reason they haven't included it so far is that they don't want to include any big Korean officers or what have you. Hanbei Takenaka's legendary capture of a castle with something like..16 to 20 men? Maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration but it seems fitting that if you have Hanbei, you include one of his most legendary achievements. The revival of the attack on Mino province by Nobunaga Oda: A stage not seen since the original Samurai Warriors, I wouldn't particularly want this stage in the sequel unless Dosan Saito became a UNPC. Nobunaga's own march on the capital: Including his capturing of the Ashikaga Shogun, and most of all to me, the aquisition of Hisahide Matsunaga (I really think Samurai warriors needs a true murderer again, now that Kojiro got the axe) What I truly want though is an SW encyclopedia, much like the one that is in the Dynasty Warriors series that describes every officer, and a time line and such. I know that this feat may be considerably more difficult, since Dynasty Warriors was based on The Romance of Three Kingdoms rather than any legitimate historical documentation, but it would be a neat touch. |

I doubt we'll see anything about Mitsuhide's mother. Koei has already established what Mitsuhide's reasons (in general) in the SW series is. I cannot agree with the Korean war being included. I've already argued against it heavily in a previous discussion, but in summary: this is a game set in Japan, about the unification of Japan. Adding in Hideyoshi's arrogant conquest to subdue Asia is outside the scope of the game and would damage the "good" personalities/portrayals of a key number of characters. At best, I would care for a mention of it as one of the causes leading to Sekigahara, nothing more. Hanbei's taking of Inabayama, while highly impressive, was not even a battle. I could imagine seeing a cutscene or event of it in the main Inabayama siege, though, where Hanbei defects to the Oda. There's really no correlation between Siege of Inabayama and Dosan's inclusion. The boss was Yoshitatsu or Tatsuoki in SW1, and Dosan was Nobunaga's ally, unlike the other two. I think it's highly likely to be in due to Hanbei's inclusion. I definitely agree on Nobunaga's march into Kyoto. The Ashikaga, Miyoshi and Matsunaga get horrible representation in SW when they're effectively the Han Emperor and Dong Zhuo'n'Lu Bu equivalents. There is an encyclopedia in SW2, it was however removed from SW2's english release for unknown reason. Same as how the voiced narrations were all removed in SW1's localization. How about a battle where Motochika unificates Shikoku island? That would be cool, even though it would only appear in his story. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that Okuni will have some kind of a relation to the Chosokabe clan (maybe have her possibly as another Chosokabe character?) |
