There is probably discussion of this scattered on the board. or maybe it already has a topic i didn't see. but i think it would be cool if the gods decided that the world Orochi created was no longer fit and had to be destroyed. or if the joining put the different gods worlds close together and they had a god-civil war that the humans had to participate in. but ya, every human having to fight against every god would be pretty cool. i mean, what else are you gonna do with all of these excess gods they created? anyway, just throwin it out there. |

Here is my idea: Orochi is dead. The humans have a new world to live in. Meanwhile, a new thread has ressurected. Qin Shihuang and his terracota army rise. Because of the huge number of the terracota army, many warriors are scattered throughout the warped world. The gods watch over this whole event, to see if the humans are still able to survive. However, the humans are struggling, especially when remnants of the Orochi army fight for the Qin army. The gods hurry to their aid, but soon they would find out that even with their power, they couldn't survive. They then brought more people to the new world. Sun Tzu, Liu Bang, Han Xin, Xiang Yu, Sima Qian, Minamoto Yoritomo, Hua Mulan, Tomoe Gozen, Shizuka and Yue Fei are amongst many others. In the meantime, Da Ji foresaw that with the new power of the human side, the Qin-Orochi army would be eliminated. She then decided to ressurect Kiyomori, who also brought more people to the new world. Among them was Kiyomori's top officer, Taira Kagekiyo. With the Resistance and the Qin army at the same strength, and after some immense battles for power, the Resistance and the Qin armay would class at the Great Wall for the final battle. |

I'd try this for the Orochi storyline. This shall happen in betweent the end of WO2 and the start of the story for the 4 other factions. Mission 1 Wukong, Da Ji and Himiko are banded together because they don't really have anyone else to have their backs after the death of Kiyomori and Orochi. They are on the run from the Wu army led by Lu Meng, Tachibana and Shimazu who seeks to clean up the Orochi remnants. They escaped. Kiyomori's spirit contacts Wukong and asks Wukong to revive him. Current party: Sun Wukong, Da Ji, Himiko Mission 2 The gang sets out to find the 3 artifacts needed to revive Kiyomori. Artifact #1 is guarded by Zhang Jiao, now a mystic officer along with Zuo Ci under the godly trio. Da Ji schemes to have Yu Ji (the sorcerer who killed Sun Ce in the novel), a disgruntled mystic officer under Zuo Ci to defect, and succeeds. Fuma also comes by randomly to help Wukong and joins them at the prospect of more chaos. Current party: Sun Wukong, Da Ji, Himiko, Kotaro Fuma, Yu Ji (new character) Mission 3 The gang heads for artifact #2, which is guarded by Pang Tong (who is affiliated to both the mystic army and Shu). Dong Zhuo comes in as an enemy looking for the artifact for his own financial gains. Dong Zhuo joins at the prospect of better financial gains than fighting them for the artifact. Current party: Sun Wukong, Da Ji, Himiko, Kotaro Fuma, Yu Ji, Dong Zhuo Mission 4 The gang heads for artifact #3, which is guarded by Zuo Ci. Masamune, hearing about the rebuilding of the Orochi army, pops by to help. Masamune joins. Current party: Sun Wukong, Da Ji, Himiko, Kotaro Fuma, Yu Ji, Dong Zhuo, Masamune Date Mission 5 The gang found a safe place to begin the ritual to revive Kiyomori. Da Ji is temporarily unselectable to perform the ritual. The safe place is no longer safe when The Tokugawa army (led by Honda) and the Hojo army (led by Ujimasa Hojo) forms a loose alliance, while attacking Sima Yi, decides to try to stop them. The ritual succeeds and Kiyomori is back. The Hojo clan, out of fear after defeat, joins the Taira army. Sima Yi also rejoins the Taira army. Current party: Sun Wukong, Da Ji, Himiko, Kotaro Fuma, Yu Ji, Dong Zhuo, Masamune Date, Kiyomori Taira, Ujimasa Hojo (new character), Sima Yi Mission 6 Kiyomori's first act is to try to tame the beast he failed to tame before: Lu Bu. The Taira army goes to war with the Lu Bu army, with Kiyomori making a bet with Lu Bu that Lu Bu submits to Kiyomori's rule, if Lu Bu loses in combat, and vice versa. Kiyomori is thus forced into your selected party of 3. Lu Bu loses, and seems somewhat ok with joining. Current party: Sun Wukong, Da Ji, Himiko, Kotaro Fuma, Yu Ji, Dong Zhuo, Masamune Date, Kiyomori Taira, Ujimasa Hojo, Sima Yi, Lu Bu, Diao Chan Mission 7 Kiyomori's next order is to head to a holy location where he begins a ritual to enter the netherworld for a special purpose: To find the spirit of Orochi to absorb into himself (Kiyomori) and becomes stronger. For that, Kiyomori, Da Ji and Himiko and Masamune are temporarily unselectable. The remaining party remains to guard the place until Kiyomori returns. The place gets attacked by a coalition of Katsuie, Huang Gai, Dian Wei and Yue Ying. The defenders succeed and the 4 enemies are captured and demanded that they surrender and work for Kiyomori. When they refused, dopplegangers of them are created via sorcery, being powered by those 4's life source and leaves the 4 still in captive. Mission 7X This special mission is slated to have happened concurrently with mission 7. The 4 that are unselectable earlier are still unselectable and the 4 dopplegangers are still unselectable. Da Ji, Himiko and Masamune, being Orochi loyalists are fighting to protect Orochi's spirit (Orochi is in his Shin Orochi form). Kiyomori wants to absorb Orochi because he thinks that Orochi is weak for being unable to defeat the other guys even after the revival and the power-up. Kiyomori successfully powers himself up into Shin Kiyomori. Masamune rejoins out of respect that Kiyomori may be the one to conquer the world instead of Orochi after Kiyomori proved his strength against Orochi. Da Ji rejoins out of fear and Himiko rejoins because she just follows Da Ji. Current party: Sun Wukong, Da Ji, Himiko, Kotaro Fuma, Yu Ji, Dong Zhuo, Masamune Date, Shin Kiyomori (normal Kiyomori is removed from the selectable party permanently), Ujimasa Hojo, Sima Yi, Lu Bu, Diao Chan, Katsuie Shibata (as a doppleganger), Huang Gai (as a doppleganger), Dian Wei (as a doppleganger), Yue Ying (as a doppleganger) Mission 8 (Final Mission) The superpowered Taira army decides to test its power and has chosen He Fei castle, one of the main strongholds of the giant 4 major forces coalition. It is guarded by a heavy duty roster of Zhang Fei, Sun Ce, Zhang He, Yuan Shao, Nene, Ina, Kanetsugu Naoe and Yukimura Sanada. The Taira army exhibited its power by crushing He Fei castle, leaving the 8 officers running with their tails in between their legs. Final party: Sun Wukong, Da Ji, Himiko, Kotaro Fuma, Yu Ji, Dong Zhuo, Masamune Date, Shin Kiyomori, Ujimasa Hojo, Sima Yi, Lu Bu, Diao Chan, Katsuie Shibata, Huang Gai, Dian Wei, Yue Ying (Unlocks Orochi & Shin Orochi upon completion) |

From the depths of Yomi, Izanami rises to take the land of the living from Izanagi. In preparation of her invastion, Izanami enlists the help of Daji and her two sisters, the Jade Pipa and the Nine Headed Pheasant, Orochi, a resurrected Kagatsuchi, and other demons. In retaliation, Izanagi coerce Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susanoo, and other gods and figures like Kintoki Douji to aid him. The Jade Emperor, seeing the potential ruin in the action of Daji, commands Nu Wa to take her down. So Nu Wa gathers the help of Fu Xi, Huang Di to take her down. Along the way, Nu Wa enlists the help of Son Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing, who are defending San Zang Faishi from demons that wish to kidnap him for his flesh. Behind the scenes, it is later revealed that it was Mikaboshi that spurred the actions of Izanami in a bid to turn the world back into a chaotic state. Point is, I prefer the next Orochi game to be purely a game between deities and demons, and none of the DW and SW crossover. |

Orochi is defeated at the end of WO2... soon after the world starts to tear apart and the dimension is soon become apparant to not be able to exist without the power of Orochi to sustain it - portals begin to open to drag in even more chunks of land from historical eras of strange new lands and with each new chunk of time and land thrown into their dimension the land becomes even more unstable and yet more of the Orochi trademark unhospitable land appears from beneath (fire, brimstone and lava) Amongst all this turmoil new armies appear from these distant lands and in the anarchy people realise once and for all Orochi must be revived yet contained much like Sun Wukong was by Sanzhang to stop this before its too late to either stop the rot or send them back to where they belong. This leads to many forces forming with their own ideals for where to go from here as... Some want Orochi revived to stop the turmoil and control the chaos left behind in his death (potentially the likes of Da Ji and Masamune) Some want Orochi revived but controlled to make him their puppet so they can become the ruler of this strange land lost in time and space (potentially the likes of Lu Bu and Yuan Shao) Some want Orochi revived and controlled so he may send them all back to where they belong in time and space (potentially the likes of Meng Huo and Lui Bei) and some will stop anyone reviving Orochi outright seeing the worlds destruction as the lesse of two evils if it means Orochi remains dead (pontially the likes of Fu Xi and could be ideal scneario to add Susanoo) That in my mind would be a great set up excuse to bring Orochi back in as hes essential to Orochi titles and allow for various factions to form and chase there ideals on this including forces of Wu, Shu, Wei, Lu Bu, Tokugowa, Toyatomi, Oda, The Divine force (led by Fu Xi) , Da Ji (leading old orochi allies) and introducing new forces of Bladestorm, Troy and a new demon invading from another dimension army summoned and led by Kiyimori Taira. The possibilities for more are also endless but those are the main ones i would like to see though you could have forces led by Masamune, Yuan Shao and definately Sakon Shima and Cao Pi (who already has Zhen Ji, Pang Tong, Nagamassa Azai and Oichi under his banner) To me at least ten to twelve forces would be ideal to really develop so many character proper, would add different elements and motives to what they want from all this and be excellent for adding new characters into an already massive roster without feeling out of place and allow plenty of mixing up of the old rosters as there are plenty enough reasons why some old veterans of the old forces would dissagree with the objectives the leaders are taking on all this. |

I'm going to keep mine short and simple Orochi has a Brother or son who is out for revenge after Orochi's demise and he has an army far more sinister than Orochi's army ever was and will do anything to gain revenge on those who ended Orochi but a new array of characters help the Humans/Mystics as they know all about this enemy and devise a way to defeat this demon throught various scenarios ala Shu, Wei, Wu, SW and possibly Other unified as it would be good to give the others there own little scenario. |

Sounds very similar to WO2 plot to be honest... substitute the brother/son for for Kiyimori and his more sinister visually impressive demon army seeking to revive rather than avenge his death and the fact the mystics united with the different factions to lead the forces on their own story to his demise and that of the revived Orochi as the mystics knew the most about this new enemy. |

Orochi's son awakes and is furious about fact that his father is dead.He relies on the help of his mother Da Ji and his uncle.Kiyomori defects and tries to revive Orochi and fuse with him and control the human world and the world of the gods.Susanoo learns about Kiyomori's plans and gathers an army to defeat him.Orochi's son sets out to destroy Kiyomori and the restistance that killed his father.SunWukong joins Susanoo and they gather the help of the gods to kill Kiyomori.Kiyomori Taira succeeded in his plan to fuse with Orochi and combine their powers.Orochi's son joins the restistance that killed his father ,in order to kill Kiyomori.As much as he hates it he knows it's the only way to kill Kiyomori.During the battle Susanoo joins the battle.Finally the restistence kills Kiyomori and Orochi is freed.When Orochi is freed he walks over to his son and tells him he shouldn't be mad that he joined the restistence and pats his son on the head.Orochi then thanks the Restistence for freeing him and protecting his son.Orochi walks off with his son,his brother,and Da Ji + Himiko. |

I should have added the fact he turns some of Orochi's world into a demon realm which his armies have conquered since they invade the peacful parts like Orochi did in the first one but unlike Orochi who captureed some of the officers he wipes them out as he is determined to eliminate them and has no secret desire for them to be happy like Orochi did which he doesn't know and is like Liu Bei was at Yi ling except he's more cunning and sinister like Sima Yi in a way. I'm certain if there is a WO3 story KOEI will cause a twist none of us see coming but it's clearly got to do something with Orochi which is why i suggested he has a brother/son out for revenge rather than someone who is brought back just for the sole purpose to bring him back afterall Kiyomori was as helpful as a dead person after his job was done also since Da Ji, Himiko and Wukong didn't die they could easily have a plan of there own and i'm not talking about bringing someone back from the dead again Edited by SJFaith, Nov 7 2009, 08:36 AM.

Orochi was put back to slumber thanks to the Heroes. However, Da Ji once again knows that he can still be revived, unbeknownst to the heroes. However, there is a strife created between her and Date Masamune. Masamune wanted to revive Orochi to keep order in the chaotic world, but Da Ji purely does it to create more chaos that she thrived for. This created a rift between the Orochi forces, since eventually Masamune got fed up that he never get the 'order in the chaos world' that he wanted so badly that he'd sell his soul to the devil. In the meantime, Izanagi and Guan Yin realized that the chaos between two worlds had gone too far, and Sanzang's interference only helps very little due to Sun Wukong in Kiyomori's side. They sent out their ultimate champion: Susano'o, armed with the mystic blade of Kusanagi, the only thing that will not just put Orochi to sleep, but ultimately obliterate him. Susano'o joins the heroes to put an end to Orochi, taking advantage of Da Ji and Masamune's strife. However, the heroes doesn't know that if Orochi, the creator of the chaotic world, is obliterated, the world will crumble and everyone will be sent to their realities. And even the heroes found themselves in strife whether they want to be in this world or they want to return home... |

In my opinion WO is destined for a reboot. Orochi's 3rd revival is not a interesting plot. But I can do this for fun... With Orochi dead, the humans begin to wage war on each other in order to control the new world. Wukong and Da Ji reassemble the remnents of Orochi's army but are routed by the mystics. Then the mystics, disgusted by the humans' need to wage war, build their own army to stop the humans senseless violence. In the midst of the chaos the psychopathic First Emperor Chin Shi Huang Di summons the terra cotta army and various mythical beasts in an attempt to replace Orochi. In responce Sun Tzu and Susanoo build an army to resist Huang Di. As the war between Sun Tzu, Susanoo and Huang Di grows more intense they slowly draw in the Three Kingdoms and Sengoku. As the game progresses, the different human armies are drafted into either army. Which would in the end result in a climactic battle between all the factions. |

^ lol i doubt they'll turn on each other when they fought so hard for peace unless of course you're refering to Dong Zhuo as he has the reputation of a tyrant But if anything it'll most certainly be Human Vs Demon Wars again other wise they may as well call it off as we already have the DW and SW series for Human vs Human wars anyway But knowing KOEI they'll make up a story we'll refuse to believe
