I want Komaki-Nagakute to be a more epic conflict in the games. Add more characters focused on that battle, especially on the Tokugawa side, and some more cutscenes and what not. Maybe Tadatsugu Sakai, Yasumasa Sakakibara, Nagayoshi Mori, Ikeda Sen, Nobukatsu Oda, maybe Tsuneoki Ikeda (ideally most of these guys can go on and do other stuff both prior and after Komaki...ya know, the ones that live) especially Sakakibara because goddamn that's a fun name to say. Sakakibara. |

Sakakibara was an epic warrior for Tokugawa and he should totally get added ![]() He is in SW4 Empires though, I play on a Vita so its too small to get a good screenshot of him but he should show up sooner or later. |

Agreed. Komaki is one of the greatest battles in the Sengoku and it needs to be more EPIC. It was best in SW1XL. They should add epic sence like Tadakatsu's stance alone againt Tyotomi |

I find that whole Komaki-Nagakute campaign to be very boring historically (personally), but I think that in the games they make it pretty epic. I wouldn't mind them expanding upon it, as KOEI seems to do a good job with it and they have a character base to make it interesting. It's kind of boring to me historically because the whole campaign was very anticlimactic. There were a few serious engagements but nothing that really committed the full force of either side. They ended up just settling down to negotiate once Ieyasu's position deteriorated diplomatically. Very dull, imo. |

Well, I meant more in the game. In the games its presented as this big power struggle between these two powerhouses and it kinda just starts and then ends. It'd be cool if they did something to make that whole conflict feel a little more push and pull, even though (from what I read) it looks like Ieyasu was handing Hideyoshi his ass most of the time. Mind you, they need to do the same with the ACTUAL epic battle, Sekigahara. But I am so bored of Sekigahara at this point... Edited by Mr. Kamikaze, Tue Oct 6, 2015 6:50 am.

Ieyasu won the engagements that pitted the two directly against each other, so I agree that Ieyasu kinda handed Hideyoshi his ass to him. The thing is that Hideyoshi lost very little overall, though, and tactically his position actually became stronger with time. The main problem is that a lot of the fighting was done in a more proxy manner. For example, the Toyotomi forced the Tokugawa's Oda allies to surrender and a lot of Ieyasu's other allies basically abandoned him or remained noncommittal. That's why I find the campaign very boring in a way. There wasn't any epic battle like Sekigahara or Anegawa or Nagashino that capped off the fighting between Hideyoshi and Ieyasu. The whole thing ended in an anticlimactic way diplomatically between two forces who didn't really want to fight each other. |

Well, it is a key trait for the character. If he wasn't, then he wouldn't be Mistunari and loved and adored by the fans that love those kind of characters, now would he? |

I'll never really like him. I tolerate him at best. SW3 more or less made me hate him because of his rescue stage. No. I don't want to save him 5 million times thank you very much. Don't even get a thanks or nothing do I? Edit: He might have said thanks. I don't remember. I willed myself to forget that stage. Edited by ChibiGingi, Tue Oct 6, 2015 7:18 am.

Funny you say that. I am on this stage right now: "Mitsunari's Crisis The forces of Kiyomasa and Masanori have descended upon Mitsunari! Utilize the wisdom of Sakon to escape certain detah!" Looks like we have to do it again! |

Garlic. And more garlic. And I begin to soften my stance on Shinji (Akihiko's best friend/sworn bro, btw) now. Gosh he's so foul-mouthed. But hey, Grant George nailed it. He's voicing a person who's a friend that Liam O'Brien voices. And in Dissidia 012, they did it again. Daymn. First off, the Grant Grorge/Liam O'Brien duo. Then, close friends/comrades. Worst of all, one of them has to die. Them similarities. |

SW2 Komaki was my fave. Still waiting for Matsu Koei. A story centered on her and Toshiie would have been great for 4-II but you settled for having Nene talk about her again

Yes she is according to the company. I also would like to point out that I don't think any of you guys have mentioned the fact that this is all to do with the age of consent in Japan, though. And that issue which could be addressed because of how the age of consent ranges from place to place, likely once again having something to do with money rather than a person's personal opinion. It's very early teens in Japan for consent, and these characters like Honoka and Marie Rose look like early teens. Despite what you feel about how obvious it looks like and how it disgusts you, it's likely within Japanese law, and not the British or American laws which are 16 and 18 respectively. It's Japanese law. These games are primarily aimed at the Japanese audience. And not us. We're just getting a localized version where in some cases the law can't afford to not notice and so we get character ages like Ayane's increase for when the game comes overseas.
