How do you run out of water? Your sink broke?
Naw, but I usually drink bottled water out of habit.

We have a water filter, but that water tastes... different. Looks like I have no choice now, though.

Might live in an area that doesn't have safe drinking water. Also it's good to buy gallons for washing, cooking (if you have a gas stove and the electricity goes out), etc.

That way if the storm hits and your power and water goes out, you're not completely boned.
And no, drinking Hurricane water might not be a good idea.

Me and my roommates talked about trying to see if we can find a cheap alternative oven, we don't have a gas one.

I feel like they don't understand that we could lose water. I'm going to eventually get around to start stockpiling the filtered water now, in preparation.

Never hurts to have water. Just in case. My areas always under boil water advisory so it's just smart to have some set aside. Just in case.

In any case, I'm less worried about water/food than I am the impending death and destruction that everyone's starting to act like is coming.

It sort of feels like election time, where half of my peoples are freaking out, and the other half is laughing at how scared that half is acting, and I'm trying to figure out which horse I should back.

Yea, I'm gonna go and look for some over these few days. Water, gas, and bread are in limited quantities here. And gas was like, $2.70 when I checked yesterday, so I don't think evacuation is going to be an option.

I got a huge filter because tap water is no good by itself. Save a lot of money because that's really all bottled water is anyway.

It's a good idea to always have a backup source of water, heat, food and transportation. Get a kerosene heater, and a water filter that you can put rainwater or even pond water in.

Be prepared, but don't panic. Have supplies, and an escape plan.

I'm going to look into a high quality filter, because my roommates suck anyways. It's just I've been drinking water nearly exclusively from water bottles for the past decade now, it's a hard habit to kick. I notice subtle differences in taste.

Kerosene heater? I'll look into that.

Summoning only gives me the same characters. Had to delete like 10 Arthurs and that green haired mage kid.
