It's funny knowing that Xiaoqiao's story is gonna last longer than Sun Jian, Sun Ce and Zhou Yu

But so is Daqiao's probably :saburo:

That's life, since DW9 is going by more or less historical life spans.

I liked Daqiao's story in DW7. I liked that they finally showed her exist beyond Sun Ce and be acknowledged by her in-laws, namely Sun Quan, for a change.

Even though it all happened in Xiaoqiao's story.

Daqiao had to steal her sister's moment :nope:

I hope Meng Huo and Zhurong have more than just the nanman campaign. I want them showing up to help Shu

her sister botched her moment so Daqiao had to step in and save it

I liked in DW4 when, if you did things right, the Nanman would show up in Yiling to help Shu (or Wu).

I liked the stage in DW4 that started out with a hostage exchange between Shu and Wei. Both of them would start running back to their own camps and you had to chase down the other one.

That was probably Dingjun or something

My favorite part of Shu's DW8 hypo was the Nanman stage obvs. but also the Yellow Turbans turning up was pretty lol-worthy  I was hoping for more Zhang Jiao :XD

“Content Descriptors: Fantasy Violence, Mild Suggestive Themes, Use of Alcohol
Rating Summary: This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of Lydie or Suelle, twin sisters who help their father run an alchemy shop in a fantasy kingdom. Players explore magical paintings to collect ingredients for alchemy, interact with various characters, and battle fantastical creatures (e.g., slime creatures, humanoid monsters) in turn-based combat. Players can select weapon attacks (e.g., swords, firearms, bows) and magic spells from a menu screen to defeat enemies. Some female creatures wear revealing outfits that expose moderate amounts of cleavage; the game also references some suggestive material in the dialogue (e.g., “They've got everything from special summer pin-up shots, to mature and introspective shots, to sexy offshoots!” and “Pervert! Damn, another old reflex!”). During the course of the game, several characters are depicted drunk, with red-flushed faces and slurred speech; dialogue also references characters' intoxication (e.g., “A little vacation, a loose booze! This is the life, hic!” and “Mireille, you're totally drunk, aren't you. You've been drinking non-stop since we got here”).”

Rated T for Teen

One of my favorite things in DW4 was your playable allies being randomized, except for the key characters. So sometimes you'd load up Yiling and have Xiaoqiao and Huang Gai as allies or Zhou Yu and Gan Ning or whatever.

I liked seeing all of them get used, even if it was random and out of place most of the time.

I think one time in DW4 I managed to get all the girls (minus Diaochan and Zhurong) as subordinate offiicers in YTR. was pretty cool.
I liked how Xiaoqiao was always an allied officer for Wu's version of the Nanman campaign in DW3 too.

Lu Xun, The Qiaos, and Sun Shangxiang beating Sima Yi at Shitting was the best in DW3
I guess it was called You Ting in DW3

Not sure how exactly the story in DW9 can be spoiled since it’s basically the same story in every main DW game

They concentrate on gameplay over story for DW9 I think.
If they put hypotheticals and stuff back in for DW9 XL or whatever, then it could be a possibility.

This is really, REALLY ripe for Empires though. Empires on the open world map has great potential to be pretty epic.

Also, I look forward to the Chinese dub

I liked that you could use Ikusa as a battle track in 4-II

Senbonzakura my favourite song of theirs though

Ikusa is a great battle track. They even included it in a Nobunaga's Ambition JPN music mod that replaces the music with Japanese style music.

Senbonzakura is another terrific track. That said, I was going purely by what was in KOEI games

Ikusa was the best thing from the Anime as well.

Japan is much smaller and much more "congested" than China is, but hey maybe that just means more random encounters with bandits and stuff!
