Nah, this Warrior of Light guy is some kind of fanatical gay-hating Bible thumper who loves Liu Bei.
Someone find the link that says Liu Bei went for a roll in the hay with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, he'll back right the **** off. That's... kinda hot, but only if it's pre-DW6 Orlando Bloom Liu Bei.

You mean the lack of logic you guys have for blindly following the word of scientists. Ah are you upset?
1) tl;dr Pfft. Don't try this. Listening to scientists blindly is JUST as bad as blindly listening to a preacher or something. There are definitely idiot atheists who treat scientists like infallible holy figures, when they really shouldn't. However, doing the research and looking at papers proves a number of things true. We can prove, for instance, non-avian dinosaurs once walked the Earth, or that there were localized disasters here and there.
On the other hand? There's nothing but a book that backs the claim that thousands of years ago there was a worldwide flood, for instance. There's zero evidence such a massive flood occurred in either the landscape or the fossil record. Like, was it magic water that left no traces? Did seriously NO fish or other water creatures move inland during those 40 days and nights? Did the water all just evaporate and fly off into space???
That said, just because there's no proof doesn't mean it didn't happen. Any historian or scientist worth their salt would admit that. It just means there's no proof, and thus, is highly unlikely, and cannot be taken as fact. But if proof ever came to light it was true, then, yes, it would be worth considering. Similarly if there ever was proof that most or all dinosaur fossils were fake or just outlines in rocks (in spite of quite literal tissue being fossilized), then, yeah, it'd be something that need be considered.
That's the thing about science and history vs. organized faith.
The former, contrary to popular belief, isn't actually set in stone- we're constantly learning new things, that certain ideas are untrue, or why certain things happen or happened as they do/did. If it was set in stone, then it'd be no different from a religion or other faith. I mean, it was considered scientific fact hundreds of years ago flies literally birthed themselves from feces and trash and were completely unrelated to maggots. Now? We know they lay eggs.
The latter? It's all written down in holy scriptures and unchangeable. Sure you can have your individual beliefs based on what the scripture says, or make new permutations of it- but a book is what it is, never changing.
So you're free to believe what you want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. I for instance believe there is an afterlife in spite of there being no proof of one. If you need to believe that God quite literally created all of existence in 7 days (rather than metaphorical) and the world is only 10,000 years old (which basically 99.99% of the scientific community agrees is impossible), fine, you do you.
But you need to recognize that using the Bible or, indeed, ANY source without a bibliography as the sole source of your side in a debate on history, science, or otherwise is not a wise idea, when countless accurate (based on years and years of data and research) sources exist.
tl;dr - Scientists and historians aren't infallible, true. But trying to factually prove something in science or history with a single source when the opposite side has a LOT of different sources corroborating their side is a REALLY bad idea.
2) Not really. Amused is more accurate.

Many scientists have said the big bang theory is impossible because it would prove the existence of a creator. Also have you ever heard of miracles? Science can't prove a lot of things and that is why it and belief God exist together. God gave us knowledge for a reason but what you do with it is what decides whether or not you go off the deep end.

I didn't insult you before. I described you exactly as you've depicted yourself. You think homosexuality is a sin that's as bad as incest and bestiality, you bring up the Bible at every opportunity and you love Liu Bei. Am I wrong about any of that?

You think homosexuality is a sin that's as bad as incest and bestiality, you bring up the Bible at every opportunity and you love Liu Bei. Am I wrong about any of that? Sure you haven't. And yes I do believe it is a sin as just as bad as all other sins except for denying Jesus Christ as the son of God and denying God which is the biggest sin of all. However, if you want to try and insult me then do it to my face and not with others. It makes much better sense. Also where did I say that I love Liu Bei because I don't think I ever wrote that? So get your accusations straighten out before you make them. But I will pray for you as well.

I apologize if you feel that I insulted you. Awful thin skin for someone willing to go around pointing out everyone else's shortcomings and flaws. Looks like he can dish it but can't take it.
Anyway I'm done feeding this display of fake-morality and intellectual dishonesty. He's got nothing to say I'm interesting in hearing so he's ignored.
