Time for yet another rant. http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/04/justice/student-sues-parents-new-jersey/Spoiler: click to toggle Can someone please... CHOKE this chick? Like. Wow.
Okay. Your parents gave you a phone. A car. Sent you to PRIVATE SCHOOL. And all they want is for you to be home by 11. Do the dishes and laundry. Stop messing around with that bad influence of a boyfriend, and stop skipping school.
And you are going to sue them.
Can I say Bitch? Because, BITCH. What??? Are you serious? GTFOH with that bull. I didn't have my phone until I was a senior and high school. Hardly had my own car. I had MUCH less, and my parents were MUCH more strict. I oughta dropkick you in your throat.
"I was forced out." I promise, this is why you need to beat your kids. Not abuse, no. Just whup 'em. Get that over-privileged, can't be touched attitude out early. Because when they turn 17, 18, and all of a sudden, oh, you can't drive a fancy car, you can't have a boyfriend that isn't a good influence on you, you're not using a phone I'm paying for... NOW they are being emotionally abused.
That is her entire case right there. Affluenza all over again. She doesn't know any better because she's never had to. And her friend's parents aren't making it any better, as if her parents are in the wrong for trying to HELP their daughter. They are preventing her from getting a good education. BITCH, YOU ARE SKIPPING YOUR CLASSES. You got suspended for skipping classes that your parents are paying for. YOU DAMN STRAIGHT they ain't trying to pay for you classes. Especially if you talking about, you want them to pay for your life even though you no longer live with them, and don't want to follow their rules. LOL. Get out of here with that bull. Frickin hilarious.
I applaud these parents for realizing the value of money, and trying to teach their daughter that. Trying to make her understand that life is a bit harder on your own, than it is when daddy's taking care of everything. All she wants is for daddy to keep taking care of her, but she doesn't want to show daddy that she appreciates that he is taking care of her.
I firmly believe that no parent should take care of a kid who doesn't appreciate the things they do. A roof over your head. Food in your belly.
Phones, videogames, cars, spending money, all of that are extra. She needs a lesson in respect, and needs to be more grateful.
Couldn't agree more. Well said.
OMM: I'm gassy

I hate how entitled some rich kids feel. Welcome to Earth honey, you actually have to work for things in life, something us with less fortune realised 10/15 years younger than you.
Kids like that need an ass kicking, I'm sorry, they do.

This girl really does need her butt whupped. The parents are the real victims here. Got her a car and a phone. I know how much you'd spend for even a crappy car, and I'm gonna assume she had at least the phone I got.
And that's just two things. They've been taking care of her for 18 years, and this is the thanks they get.
Yea. Right. If America lets this crap fly, there is gonna be an epidemic. Like the judge said, you can't let it, because then you're going to have kids basically going around, doing whatever they want and still having their parents care for them.
Talking about paying off the rest of her tuition, transportation and living fees, college, and attorney fees. The parents that she is staying with are idiots, also. I wouldn't be giving them a damn dime. If you want to take care of her so badly, well then, hell. Have her.

I wouldn't be giving them a damn dime. If you want to take care of her so badly, well then, hell. Have her. I just can't believe what this country (and world in general) has come to Yes, there are some really crappy and downright unfit and abominable parents out there that have no business raising children but judging by the article, clearly these parents aren't among them. In the late 90s the average cost of raising a child to age 18 was around $100,000... that's no small sum even for today, and that's not including college tuition and everything else that might come after that. Plus since this girl was sent to a private school, I'm betting that she was a lot more expensive to raise than that. Instead of being grateful, she turns around and sues her parents for even MORE money, just, I can't even.
It's such a shame. Parents like these ones really ought to be respected a whole lot more
EDIT: Don't worry, Honda-san, no kid of yours would be ungrateful/fool enough to mess with you!
