I just hope that if they aren't given orders, they don't just sit there at let ranged enemies attack them without response. I lost many units like that in Kessen 3. |

ikr. Chronicles was fantastic. I'm actually happy they are trying to emulate it here in a main title so people who don't have a 3DS can at least experience the better mechanics the game offered. |

They still fight! They can even kill officers. It's just... you kind of have the babysit them in a sense if you want to make full use of the 'giving orders' stuff. In SW:C, no. That person just becomes grayed out, and you can't play as them for the rest of the level. In SW4? idk. Edited by dancingswan, Thu Mar 13, 2014 9:16 pm.

One thing though, they could of added partner's info beside the item square. Mini map should of been smaller too. |

Gameplay was decent, morale bar was made important again. And those events that like improved the whole cast a thousandfold. Easily one of the best Warrior games. |

generally everything should be smaller musou doesn't need the flashy lightning effects, all bars should have been thinner the musou ougis could have been displayed as a thin bar that is sectioned into 5 parts, etc minimaps in this series have always been awful though, i always minimize them cause they are less intrusive that way |

At the end of each stage you get points for time, missions completed and stuff for every character. But the one that killed more enemies and stuff obviously got more exp. |

i really really really hope all characters share xp in SW4 at the very least even characters you didn't use get a little bit of extra xp, just so they dont fall behind |

Each mission has bonus stuff too. For example. "Kill Megohime in 5 minutes" You can do that with any character you want, and you'll get the mission complete. "Bonus: Kill Megohime with Masamune Date" You not only get the mission complete, but you get a bonus reward which ranges from EXP, gold, items, and weapons. |

I like that, would make character switching worth it. Hope it's not just a simple partner mechanic. Right now thinking of just using it to get from one side of map to the other quickly. I hate using horses.

I wouldn't mind them doing what they did in DW7/8 with exp accumulating through each story, so characters you don't get a chance to play as until later stages aren't horribly under leveled. At least for the longer stories. |
