i like kingdom/clan based stories way better

i despise doing the same 4 stages over and over and over with like maybe one different cutscene at the end of the story

So DW8 is too easy on settings lower than hard but you then complain about the difficulty rising, am I missing something here?

DW5 Nanman was alright, probably the only stage I actually liked.

I did like being able to kill my bodyguard at Chi Bi too

i feel the same when it comes to somone and thinking the SW series is so inferior to the SBseris

like, ok, why do you still play them though?????
I especially don't get it because it's like comparing apples to oranges... or perhaps more aptly, tangerines to oranges. They're very similar (in setting/plot/characters/general gameplay), but their core is different. Musou has always been more about mowing down lines of enemies and getting the KO counter up. Basara is about racking up large combos irregardless of how many KOs you get. And it shows in what tools the devs give you to play with- Musou gives you strings that cater more to mowing down enemies, while Basara offers diverse movesets to juggle things with.

I think it's possible to compare the two, but the way most handle it makes it seem like they're in direct competition. Newsflash- they aren't. People are either fans of both and buy both or only fans of one and swear off the other altogether out of misguided loyalty/hate, thus there's not competition there. There's almost never a case where someone goes "hmm, I'm going to buy either SB4 or SW4, and only one or the other, never the other."

I hated playing DW6 on my old TV b/c it was impossible to play all the levels set at night cause the tv would just make everything black.

Final attempt. If this isn't good enough I think I'll just ask someone to render it I guess. It looks okay though...

Edit: HAW WAW no it doesn't. To the Graphics board.

I loved DW5, still my favourite DW probably. Amazing designs, everyone had a story and it was just the right difficulty for me.

But yeah the repetitiveness of the stories did suck a bit. DW needs kingdom based stories now, there's just too many characters for individual ones to still work.

Why wouldn't it? The only reason SW3XL or whatever didn't is because of Nintendo contracts.

Same here

Why wouldn't it? Absolutely no reason why it wouldn't. They've never withheld a vanilla DW, SW or WO from coming to the west.

Even though 5 is my favourite I'd say 4 was probably the one they put most effort into with how the kingdom story was done. And also with the changes to the weapon system etc. It was great
