LOL "Charlie" sorry, not "Charle" having one of those really bad dyslexic days :XD

If you're an adult now, I'd just go through with it. You don't even need to do it legally strictly speaking. You could just use nicknames that your friends call you. Just save your real name for legal documents and stuff. It's quite common for people kind of informally take new names without going through all the legal stuff. My grandfather anglicised his name without going through legal stuff I think, it was just informal

Might depend on your country though
I have everyone call me by my Chinese nickname. It's not 100% comforting but I feel better than my 7 letter name that gets spelled wrong every day.

I can change it in Canada, but if i do my parents are gonna flip tables. o3o
I just don't like seeing my eng name on documents, it makes me go, "Ew" @@

@Crusader: o3o whoa calm down kid. I'm chill.
===
My grandma had three names. She got her name spelled wrong in Hong Kong, she had a special name in school and she has her birthname. She just uses the wrong spelling one nowadays.

my mom has been going by her middle name since before I was born. Put it on all her legal documents, driver's license, etc. Almost no one knows her real first name, and those who did i bet half of them dont even remember it...

Hell, I didn't even know about her real first name till a few years ago.

She never had it legally changed, but...its basically her legal first name now.
Yeah that's what my Grandfather did, but not with his middle name, it was his first. His real name was whatever the Maltese variant of "Dominic" is (I think it's Domniku or something like that) but he just went by Dominic. Never had any problems.

You would probably have to be super consistent with it, though. Having three different names all over the place could present some problems in the long run for important, legal things.

Ugh, this talk reminds me of people I've unfollowed on tumblr because they say they "hate female-liking cis males". Like, I can't tell if they're joking or not, because half of the time it seems like it and the other half it seems like legitimate hate, like treating it like ALL of us are the same. I realize that it probably started as a clever device to show ignorant people in the majority what it feels like to be stereotyped, but it honestly seems like people are starting to take it to heart.

And I've done literally nothing wrong! I mean, yeah they could tell me "I don't mean you, I mean other guys, geez, stop being so offended, being offended means you know you did something wrong". But like GODDAMN, I have serious anxiety problems, I don't have time for second-guessing if I'm perpetuating privelege or whatever, I just assume people hate me because of who I am.

Ugh... ;_;

Sometimes people do get bitter. The thing is cisgenders straight white men don't face any widespread discrimination or oppression in society. I do think they can be discriminated against, don't get me wrong, but it's not widespread or institutionalised.

Sometimes people who don't fit into that group face problems day in, day out and it can leave them bitter, understandably. It's no excuse for hatred though, I do agree.

The reason for the Wei Yan thing is that I've been told genderbending/rule 63 is transphobic. This isn't me just pulling this out of thin air. Mainly because with genderbending you are assigning a new gender to someone solely based on genitalia, when that's not right.

If you are wondering if you are cisgendered. Fill out this questionaire.
- Were you assigned a gender at birth?
- Are you comfortable in the gender you were assigned?

If you answered yes to both questions, then you are cisgendered.

I fit into that bitter category sometimes. Though I won't flat out insult you if you're a white cisgendered person. I have had pretty bad experiences with the white population but that doesn't mean I hate white people. Cisgendered...same thing. Just don't be a huge jerk about it.

@crusader: Glad you're happy?

And that's understandable. You've probably struggled a lot in your life, you have reason to feel the way you do.

As far as I'm concerned you don't have to understand everything other people are doing (with transgenderism etc), or even like it. It's just having the respect not to call names across the street and make them feel **** about themselves, that's not right.

:mori: Let's see: swan, Scottie, Divine Justice, Kami, and now Kuran.
All those people you mentioned are still my faves. I like them all equally; I just tend to give my full attention to each of them and then move on to someone else every week or two or even every month in a random pattern :mori:

I like VPZ cause she gives me good dating advice.
I like Swan cause she's funny and clarifies stuff for me and is really smart
I like Scott cause he's a diamond in the rough I could never hope to find in the real world. He's funny and interesting.
I like DJ cause he's a good source of information, he has a good personality, etc.
Kamikaze-dono is cool because he's simply hilarious.

I'm sure there'll be others who I will find one of my faves on the forums, and when that day comes, I will give my attention to him and then move on to my other fave, and then my other fave, and then my other fave, and then back to him. It's more of a random pattern then a repetitive one :mori: :shan:

I have weird wants for SW...aside from Saburo and Hana (whom I know nothing at all about...)..i also kinda want Takatsugu Kyogoku...just cause I want the Azai to be fluffed out more and because he'd be a good little piece of story for Muneshige.

@Arminus: Exactly. People just don't know how to respect each other though. Too lazy for common sense or thinking sometimes.

Few people understand my perspective of the white community though. I appreciate your opinions on my thoughts.

@Crusader: I'm glad my advice helps. '3')b
