Liked the Renbu system but 6's maps didn't help it much. |

DW6 is still one of the prettiest DW games. Playing Xuchang in Empires 6, and playing it again in DW7 and WO3 is upsetting, it's the same exact design, but it couldn't look any more different |

i'd say SW4 is pretty close to DW6 graphics wise, the lighting and stage design in this game is really sweet, much better than the last few games of theirs i've played |

Wu Zhang Plains, Guandu, Xuchang, He Fei Castle, Han Zhong, Mt. Ding Jun. Some of best DW6 stages. Ew at Chibi though. |

when was the last good chi bi stage though? even thinking back to DW4 and 5 it was pretty awful. Yi Ling is also absolutely gorgeous. |

DW3 Chibi was nice. The Defeated Officer notifying lag made it fun. DW3 Zhou Tai was beastly at Chibi. Always ended up with 8 Star Morale. |

I hated most of the stages in DW6, but design wise they were the best. If we could get the technicalities of the DW6 stages mixed with the largeness and detail of DW8 stages...we'd have some amazing looking stages. |

I don't understand why since DW went PS3 they've started making Yi Ling a day battle It was always a night battle on PS2. I don't know what it was historically but the idea of it happening at night always made it epic to me haha |

i always played the same two or three stages in DW6, Wu Territory (Wu and Shu sides) and another one or two that I cant remember...but most of those stages weren't very fun, despite how amazing they looked. |

Partner thing, not sure if DW should get it. It's nice to have though. I mainly stick with one person. |

i think only stages i found very unfun in DW6 were jing province and fan castle, chi bi was al right I think setting sun Yi ling is best yi ling personally, the lighting in that stage was fantastic and dramatic, it was so cool starting that stage in a warm deep rech area and then ending it in a cooler, shaded area, it gave the stage a real natural pacing to it, was really well thought out and designed. |

would've been nice if there was an option to only take one character into battle in SW4. Maybe it'll be patched in later, or maybe in XL. Or maybe, they'll just add a third character. |

I could do without it, but at same time its good for larger casts more that i think about it, makes you use more characters. |

I liked how freely we could move around DW6's maps, especially in Empires. We could go up mountains, jump off cliffs, swim across the water, climb walls, etc. Now it seems like every stage in DW8 and SW4 is nothing but corridors. It really is DWG3's box-and-hallway design, just made prettier to try and hide it. They probably have to do that because they still can't make an engine that can handle long draw distance without lagging hard. That's why the grass disappeared in 6. But they definitely need to bring back 6's lighting and bloom, and the beautiful colors |

worst thing is when you give them a horse then they spend whole stage riding around like a retard knocking officers away from you thats when i send them to time out in the corner of the stage |

Opening up the maps more in SW4 would make the game better for me. Can still use the grid system it seems to have for partner placement. |
