DW6 had some great ideas, I even think renbu could work if they actually take the time to make it really well. DW7 took everything good away from 6 but didn't solve the cloning or even bring back all of the cut characters, wtf |

renbu works in action game with small areas, not in a warriors game with big areas a loads of empy travel time |

Yeah that was it's man drawback, that it depleted so quickly. Sucked Still if you got a horse with renbu gait that wasn't an issue |

I wouldn't mind the idea of tomes, maps, and dodge rolling returning from 6. I always found it hilarious in 6E when I would sneak by a general going to a base, yet others who play with me would get caught on sight~ |

Renbu can work if the player is alowed to get to a point where they can't lose it, or at least it's very difficult. |

my favourite thing about 6E was when you would jump over a knee high gate and al the enemies thought they were ambushed and lost all morale

No no no no no, you could only upgrade how much renbu you got which gave you longer attack chains I think you could get a skill which slowed down the depletion Oh, the horses could get a skill where it wouldn't go down as long as you are riding |

not that i recall, at least not something indefinite. renbu would have been cool if instead of locking away your moveset it jsut made it less effective, so at base renbu its fairly slow and only has range of actual weapon and no crazy effects, but at full renbu its faster, has greater range, larger effect thignies, could even make it s that elements only activate when you have higher renbu and at max renbu elements activate on every wing |

Could do that in regular 6 too, just not as often. Was still funny when you would jump down near a general either way. I see it like using 8XL's ambush on a main camp or a blatantly obvious place to not put one, and it works.

7 had it too and even though 8's maps have more elevation changes they removed it, lame. |

I actually like a lot of 8's maps though. The closedness of them sucks, but the detail is beautiful |

8's maps I feel are a toss up, would be better if there was more to do depending on how you went about the battle, imo. Yi Ling they could have made better, among other stages.. <__< |

i think thing i hated about dw8 stages most was that half of them didn't even have a skybox, were just flat gray colour. not to mention atmoshperic lighting and fog was nonexistant. |
