I don't tan or cook in the UK, there is some truth to when people say "it's a different sun here"

In Europe I go so brown, I love it haha

I think I don't tan in humid heat, Britain gets very humid and I didn't tan in Thailand either. I think I need dry Mediterranean or desert heat for it to work on my skin, weird.

Well, you've got the Maltese going for you, so that helps :sly:

My English-German-Danish pasty white @$$ cooks regardless of the sun :asia:

I don't really take after my Maltese side looks-wise (personality-wise, it's all there LMFAO, those mannerisms  )

I've got that more pinkish/peachish Northern European skin haha. I look so much like my Mom and her mom features and colour-wise (Mom's side are English and German)

Nick can I ask you why you spell Mum in the American way when you are, for all intents and purposes, British?

If you're not cooking, then its still in there somewhere

At the very least, its preventing you from burning even if its not helping you tan :P

Yeah I've always thought that, I rarely burn, unless it's like the first time the first time I wear shorts in strong sunlight for ages. I remember as well I shaved my hair off completely when I was 15, and my scalp burned from lack of exposure to the sunlight lmao. My head was so white before it burned

Sometimes in certain lights you can see a slight olive hue to my skin even when I haven't tanned, but then I see quite a lot of Brits with that too.

I literally have inherited nothing from my Dad looks-wise, and I was blond when I was a very small child too so we got some funny looks when we were together  Hair's dark brown now so it's less stark difference.

I was a blondie too when I was young. When I turned 10 or 11, it slowly began turning brown

It's a lotion that slowly makes you a shade or two darker, nothing harsh or orange, just enough to give some natural color to my skin

I work all night and sleep all day, so I don't have any chance to get real sun

Ohh ok, so I guess it doesn't have much effect if you're getting sunlight then?

It's very common for people's hair to get darker as they age, although obviously it's more common in white kids than in darker kids who are already born with very dark hair

Kit still looks gorgeous as Jon though so it doesn't matter, you're all pressed :P

Mine was like a dark, dusty blond, it was never bright blond. Now it's like dark brown but if a really strong light shines on it I get some red flecks which I really like
