Hey, swan, right now my Quiladin has Take Down, Bite, Needle Arm, and Rollout. I was thinking of replacing Needle Arm. What later PP would be good with that setup?
You'll get Seed Bomb at 35 which is stronger and has the same PP but just loses the flinch chance, and then at 36 you get Chesnaught which learns super strong moves like Hammer Arm and Wood Hammer. Spiky Shield is also ~okay~, but not that special in game.
I'll probably give him one of those Hammer moves. I'm definitely keeping Bite since it's a Dark move. Rollout is second definite.

The Omanyte Partner gave me has Scald, Ice Beam, and Rock Tomb.
Once you get surf, you can replace scald unless you double battle

Once you get Ancientpower, replace rock tomb

PRAISE HELIX
 I'll make sure too.

It learns Sludge Wave via level at 56. It also learns Hex, so you could have a backup for Psychic types.

Tentacruel is a monster.

I'm a bit annoyed you can't catch more than one wild Pokémon per battle.

Aaaaaand everyone is gone. That was a fairly fun gathering of family, turned out to be a birthday party for me, my cousin, and her son, too. Which I didn't see coming.

But god damn, am I exhausted. I'm too tired to catch up on so many pages...

Leech Seed. It needs to know Leech Seed.

And there are much better moves than Rollout and Bite. It can learn Stone Edge, which is like the strongest Rock type move, via TM. Shadow Claw is a good coverage move for Psychic and Ghost. Earthquake demolishes Fire and Steel types. Do not keep Bite and Rollout. Trust me.

Sounds good, but I don't think Psyshock Alakazam agrees with the poison wall I'm thinking of building. @_@

My singles team is pitiful don't even have a stealth rock user

For new games, do old teams still work like Ninjask/marowak?

I think I bypassed giving it Leech Seed. My Quilladin is Level 30 at the moment.

Igglybuff - 14
Omanyte -27
Espurr - 14
Ivysaur - 24
Pikachu - 23

Don't give it Leech Seed unless you're playing competitively, Partner.

Move Tutor/Remember person. Get Leech Seed back.

And then decide what scares you the most about something countering Chesnaught. Just take note that Talonflame + Gale Wings + Brave Bird will likely kill it.

I can imagine my Scyther one-shotting Chesnaught if it doesn't have Spiky Shield. Disappoint.

Talonflame changed the Metagame so much. It's hilarious. There has never been a early-flying type that has had made that much of an impact as Talonflame has.

And the even crazier thing is that, it can still manage to demolish it's main counters? I think the main 3 counters for Talonflame are Tyranitar, Rotom-W, and.... Heatran... I think.

It can learn Steel Wing and U-Turn so bye Tyranitar. If you give it a Liechi Berry, and Natural Gift, it has a 100 base power grass type attack. Bye Rotom-W. And it can just beat down Heatran. Plus if you give it a Salac Berry with Natural Gift, 100 base power fighting attack.

The only Pokemon I know that can actually put up a fight with Talonflame is Mandibuzz. And Quagsire.
