Just sleep when you're tired. Though sleep schedules do become wonky. Haven't had one in a while. That's..probably not a good thing
You haven't had a sleep schedule you mean :o ? Do explain.

Hmm...how are you able to so easily modify your sleep schedule like that tho?
That I just can't answer, because I honestly don't know how I do it. I just know that I am able to. It's a possibly the fact that I enjoy sleeping. I honestly just take naps random times of the day. Once I've woken up from a nap then ate some dinner then went back to sleep. It's just something I've done for a long period of time.

EDIT: It's highly not recommended doing though. Especially at your age. I did it when I was around 16. I was usually up finishing assignments or something not assignment related only because I had no life. To make it simple. (I still have no life currently) However as I got older I do realize that during the times in College I do stay up more often due to the fact that I have to finish projects.
Mmm, but I probably will only be going to college to gain more experience and exposure to JP, and I'm pretty sure I could handle it, so

EDIT: Actually yeah, it's best for me to go to college. I haven't really been keeping up with my JP studies; I've actually been slacking off a bit on it. College should help give me a schedule to follow to study JP, so it's best to go. Although I don't really think I'll have any noteworthy projects to do for JP. If there are, then I could always complete them early in the morning. It's pretty easy to modify my sleep schedule, now that I think about it

In fact, I think I could go to sleep early so I'd wake up early and do whatever projects then  I could also start going to sleep a few weeks before I go to college so my body'll get used to it ^_^

Also, I'm gonna make myself some food, so don't expect an immediate reply.

I haven't had a good sleep schedule for the past... I don't know, 5 years or so. Even before that, I had insomnia in middle school and high school. Most of it is my own fault though, I party too much sometimes. Though, even if I go to sleep at 4, I can be ok waking up at 8am. What I don't recommend is trying to beat records in how many hours they can stay awake. I've seen too many people do it, and it always goes bad.

tl;dr, whatever I do, do the opposite. ^_^

I don't know what American Colleges are like I just know you guys have those SATs (which honestly sounds pretty terrifying to me because wow they sound hard) Especially since i know nothing of American history. :|

As in Canada, we have schools that allow you to upgrade your highschool mark and basically re-do an SAT. (we don't call them SAT here and at least where I am we call them Diploma Exams) Once we finish the diploma exam they average it with our course mark and we get our final mark. Then once we have the final mark with the courses we need to have an average of 75% plus (basically a B and up) That mark will get you basically into any college in my province and probably out of the province.

I suspect that SAT work the same way into getting into a college. I also believe that just learning Japanese Culture isn't really a core major. It's an elective. I highly recommend that you go into something like creative writing if you're planning to write a book. (or whatever it's actually called)

Personally also think that you don't need to go to college to get your Japanese learning schedule straight, you just need to go do it. It's not only up to the college to get you a schedule you have to actually do some self studying yourself.

OMM: Damn, now thinking about it I might fail 3D :|

As far as I know, most colleges don't even offer JP. It would be nice, but I think it'll get in the way of my doctor stuff. Though I'd like to touch up more on my Spanish. Greek isn't even at most colleges, and well, it's something I should have started on at age 2, but... well, we won't get into that(I don't like to talk about it).

But yeah, depending on your major, I wouldn't focus too much on electives, they'll get in the way. For example, my old college wanted me to take English, Philosophy, Religion, and Sociology for their physical therapy program, and I'm thinking, wtf does a 10 page paper have to do with helping patients with broken legs? I still think it's stupid. Thankfully this new college is getting straight to the point.

Actually, though, if you're only planning on a Creative Writing class, or anything Liberal Arts, save your cash and go to a community college :)

I was waiting for the moment where they say that a non-Korean/core asian person would do plastic surgery to make themselves look Korean.

EDIT: I am not from America so I really don't know how schooling works. No one listen to the Chinese Canadian talkin about Murrica~ :|

Hmm...I dunno now. Maybe I shouldn't go to college, like Kuran suggested. I'm learning JP through video games rn; I think that alone is really helping

Video games alone won't help. You still have to learn regional dialects, and the correct ways of speaking to different groups of people.

Whoa don't think of it as not going to college. Community College can help you alot from what I heard. Really it's something to consider. It's always good to have a back up and everything needs degree papers these days.

You're comparing me to KongMing? Wow that's very flattering considering his intellect surpasses mine (and a hella lot of others) by a long stretch.~

I'm learning that through JP media. I've actually been familiar with dialects for 3 years because it wasn't until I was 11 that I started immersing myself in JP culture

I have backups within backups ;) Let me explain:

Main Plan:

Step 1: I will go to Washington and establish a home there.

Step 2: I will look for someone who wants to publish my book.

Backup: If, after a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks, I find no one who wants to publish it, I will go to a community college. This is only if no one wants to publish it. If not, then I will proceed with the following step.

Step 3: If my book is published, then I will wait and see if it becomes popular.

Backup: If after a minimum of 2 to 4 weeks, no one seems to like it, I will work at a pet shop or any other sort of job establishment that interests me. If otherwise, I will proceed with the following step.

Step 4: If my book becomes popular, then I will wait until I farm some more cash and then move to an even bigger house and continue making books.

Step 5: I'll worry about this step later if Step 4 hasn't been completed successfully.
Oh, I see Astus Sensei is here. Are you still too busy to reply Sensei?

EDIT: Oh nvm, he's not viewing the thread anymore :|

I actually believe that a better route should be taken. I feel that that's only an idealistic point of view. Meaning it will happen in theory. There are flaws. You need to think of,

What if you don't get to Washington? or If you manage to get there, what if you are unable to establish a home? What will I do instead?

Scenario 1: If you manage to get into Washington and establish a home, what will you do in the mean time? I still highly suggest that while you're trying to look for a publisher, get a job, then into a community college and try to work through that. You still have to have that job to pay for rent and get into the community college. That way you can still look for a publisher and even if you dont' find one then you can go, "Oh well, at least I am in college and I have a job, so I still am able to have money to fund myself."

I say this because 4-6 weeks is a lot of wasted time. That's almost two months.

Scenario 2: You find a publisher. I still say the same thing. Go get the job, and continue to go to community college. Because once again, waiting is very time consuming. Especially after waiting a month. You need some money to take care of yourself in the mean time. Also the community college is a back up.

Now upon getting famous, Don't quit community college or your current job (however you are allowed to switch jobs.) Fame doesn't last as long as you think.
Even if you write another book, what if that one doesn't become famous?

Again with petshop, sure that's what you want, but that's not what you're gonna get. Your plan only works in theory. Realistically, I really think it will go south. Nothing will go as you plan. So always think about reality. It's good that you have a dream, but always remember, that the world doesn't always work around theories. Meaning the outcome is never what you want or hope it would be. This is reality and you really need to know that reality is going to be very harsh on you with that kind of plan.
