Comcast is one of the, if not the, largest cable provider in the country. They are far from irrelevant.

(for the record, Hulu is partly owned by Comcast alongside Fox and Disney)
especially now that they merged with NBC. I was lucky to get out of Comcast when I did

Comcast has always been full of **** in my opinion. Their just an irrelevant TV company imo. Not as big as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Instant, etc. because they haven't been arsed to expand their horizons for like, years.
Uh, quite the opposite :uh: They have a monopoly on cable/internet utilities in most major markets in the US. If you want high speed internet in the US, you pretty much have to go through them.

Doesn't change the fact that they absolutely suck though :meantongue:

Yeah. They own NBC, Universal Film Studios and Universal Parks and Resorts.

They have shitty customer service and have been the center of controversy more than once, but irrelevant? No, far from it.

Fios is much better imo. I'm sure Comcast is gr8, but I don't care enough about them to get my Internet and TV through them.

Well, I probably won't even have TV when I'm on my own since for the most part I watch anime and tokusatsu. But I see what you guys mean tho

We've had Brighthouse for over 10 years, here. And they are great, internet speed is just fine. So. i've never had to deal with Comcast (or any other cable provider, for that matter).

Haven't read Bleach in a very long time (never finished the Aizen arc), but I'm in love with Yoruichi

Comcast had horrible customer service. I would have to call them like every other week because my cable went out, and then they'd tell me that I had to wait four days for a technician to come to the house to fix it.

Even if a technician did come, the cable would go out in two days, and repeat. Finally, we moved to Verizon, but all the channels are separated into packages. That's lame, too

We used DirecTV for as long as I can remember, then around last year they upped the prices on their cable, so we made the switch to Fios.

I probably will never have to deal with cable providers, since I'm not a big fan of current American TV. I'll likely only need to get someone to install internet in my home when I'm older and then I'll be set.

You should finish the Aizen arc and the rest of the anime and then catch up on the manga. Haven't read the manga since I refuse to pay any heed to Bleach until its confirmed the anime is coming back.

Which is why I'm just amazed that so many people use their cable.

We rarely have issues with our cable anymore. But if we ever did, they would send a technician out the very next day. Four days...that's crazy.

The anime was trash anyways, awful awful animation.

And the goddamn Bount arc has to be the worst filler I've ever seen.

When I moved back East, there was pretty much only 1-2 choices for TV/internet: Comcast or DirecTV (but DirecTV had horrible speed on internet).

I used Comcast once, then dropped them like a hot plate when we bought our house. There, Verizon offered a cheaper DSL alternative to Comcast with pretty much the same speed. Went with DirecTV for TV services.

Out in SoCal, we have Cox and Time Warner :meantongue: Time Warner is Comcast Lite. They have the worst customer service next to Comcast. Cox isn't bad though. Internet is fast, still expensive tho :kurokan: Don't bother with TV anymore since we Hulu/Netflix mainly
