I'm not an advocate of banning children from the Internet. I'm an advocate of parents monitoring their childrens' activities on the Internet.
I agree

It was more directed at Wild Lion, though. :hehe:

Also even if one is outside, considering in this hypothetical world no other child would be wouldn't that singular child therefore grow up socially 'retarded'?

I want to get to level 55 before tackling Victory road. So far the Biker outside of Lavender town with two Muks is the best place to level. Get roughly 3500 exp battle.

Sing is a move that Jigglypuff starts with at level 1. The wild jigglypuffs probably don't know it because they are too high leveled and, thus, they would have other moves in their 4 moveslots.

If there is a Pokemon relearner in X/Y, you could probably have Jigglypuff learn sing through that. You could also breed Jigglypuffs.

Be back later, gotta go do some reports.

He would have a family and family friends, and there are more than kids to interact with.

People who stay inside staring at computer screens every day, especially on the internet and in forums, are never able to develop the social skills to:

1) read body language and vocal tones, which are even MORE important to communication than words

2) deal with people they don't like or agree with, because internet forums are giant circlejerks. Anyone who doesn't agree with you can just be banned / set to ignore / unfriended / etc. In real life you're often forced to be around people you don't want to be, either a school peer or a coworker, and you can't just block them. I see this SO often here on these forums, kids don't have the capacity to disagree with someone without getting all emotional and personally offended because they have always avoided any dissenting opinions or information, sometimes not even intentionally.

Facebook, for example, has algorithms to only show you things it thinks you agree with in your feed, which is getting more advanced. Kids need to learn how to get along with all kinds of people, even when they don't want to.

Not to mention the health concerns of staying indoors all day, not getting any real exercise, fresh air or direct sunlight, or being exposed to different plants and germs.

Good thing I discovered internet when I was 11, 12 or 13. I could still control my urge to surf on times I am really bored. Forbidding children to use internet is bad. Teaching them how to use it properly is good. Anything to prevent them from eventually trolling people who are pacifists.

I wasn't much of a gamer when I was very young either. So yeah, I regret being unable to play Bloody Roar 3 which is best Bloody Roar according to majority of the series' fans, me included.

Exactly. I have friends without internet and they do just fine. I do fine without a cell phone.

I'm afraid nobody is going to be able to survive without these conveniences soon, and these things can't last forever. We're in a technological bubble right now that is actually very fragile, with vital resources like rubber, plastics, and precious metals running out due to ever increasing commercial demand. I think it's important for people to start understanding these things are neat conveniences, but not necessary and we lived just fine before they came along. In fact I feel we live better without them.

I love technology, but you shouldn't be a slave to it.

Yeah, Old Man. You're so right.

@Wild Lion My cousin used to own that game for his PS2, and I've no PS2 even though I originally wanted it just for BR3. My mom suggested that I should get a PSP instead for my 14th birthday. (had it since 2006) She bought me the latter two months later when she got to Hawaii.

So I have trouble with PS2 emulators and ISO files of PS2 games. Meanwhile, PSP ISOs work completely fine, but at first my PSP was unfriendly to JP versions of certain games.

Is Musou Orochi 2 Special any good? I've trouble reading a lot of Japanese too.

How old are you? You can't buy your own PS2? They're cheap as dirt now, and any game can be found on ebay and amazon (personally my favorite part of the internet is shopping)

I've only played Orochi Z and it was great
