never played 3 but his moveset is not good for the amount of peons on screen in 4, and his godspeed is boring
but yeah he was great in 2

Hurt n heal is so weird for me cause I don't know any of these new characters :beard:

And I'm real lazy and only post when I'm fairly confident I won't get ninja'd cause I don't feel like editing :asia:

Got Chinese food and no longer hungry for it. I hate myself even more now. Lisa is going to have to eat at least some of it otherwise its $20 down the drain.

I don't really know them either so I base my opinions, if I even have any, on their designs. I really like Aya's design and I'm not sure I really care about any of the other new characters. Koshosho looks like Sill Plain though, which is cool.

Aya, Koshosho, and Hayakawa are the best written female characters in SW(and DW) right now. But that's just my opinion.

A lot of the newer warriors ladies are written well (Hayakawa, Kai, Kosho, Aya, Tamamo, Yinping, Chunhua) but most of them don't get enough screentime for it :asia:

All three of those seem great to me, yeah, but I don't really know much about them yet. I'll have to play SW4 before forming a larger opinion. At the moment I'm pretty sure I'll like Aya a lot.

DW ladies suffer more from lack in screentime than SW. At least WO3 made them all get a decent share and fleshed out their characters.

Kai and Aya are great, especially Kai. Don't know much about Hayakawa yet and won't until October. :kosho: needs no explanation.

I hardly call Yinping and Chunhua "well-written". Well characterized and endearing yes, but they don't do much outside of their assigned personality structure. Again though, that's because they've been pushed in the background.

ehh, didnt feel like wo3 fleshed out anyone but never played ultimate so i dunno
not sure if screentime is the problem necessarily

Well I mean for me anyway a lot of them were able to be frontrunners for a lot of the stages instead of the usual 1 stage per story in DW.

I think having special bonds with characters helped, allowed them to shine more.

I wouldnt say WO3 fleshed them out, just gave them something else to do than what they usually do

in some cases.

Or in Bao Sanniang's case, the same thing but a different setting and with a ninja.
