:kurokan: Unfortunately I still have too long of a list of things I need to do today so any "me time" will have to wait longer.

Oh yes, because moving out of a country when you can't hold a job or even have enough money to pay rent is the cheaper and easier solution. Yup. Let's just put the burden on other countries with mass immigration... perfect! ;)

@ThreeKingdomsWarrior- Actually I work at a video game testing center. Minimum wage. **** hours, too. Yeah, we get to test video games, but I have a feeling I'd get paid more on a fast food chain.

I was pissed yesterday. I applied at this subway, with a perfectly fine application. The application said if after a month, nothing came back to you, you didn't get the job. It had been a month, which I can accept, but then I saw some new workers that were complete dolts. They didn't even now to just price a chicken + turkey sandwich as a double meat sandwich, they almost tried to charge me for two sandwiches

They always, always, ALWAYS pick the bottom of the barrel at these jobs. Why?

Because they're literally too stupid to know when to ask for a raise or to realize just how **** of a job they have. Anyone smarter will likely look elsewhere. Unless they're desperate for SOME kind of means of income to pay their bills.

No ****, I was turned down from many jobs because I was "over qualified" and went to college, because they knew that I'd eventually ask for a wage or that I would have this ego. Look, I'm applying for a job at a fast food restaurant, DO I LOOK LIKE I'M PICKY?

The whole overqualified thing for jobs is just flat out bull. Theres no such thing. Going to college =/= being good at making sandwiches or flipping burgers. Anyone should be able to get a job anywhere, I would have no problem as a manager having a worker who graduated from harvard.

And really yes. I just need money right now, and I'll gladly make only a couple hundred every two weeks. I'm always stuck at my house with my parents, and have no money to go anywhere or buy anything

Edit: Well not ANYONE ANYWHERE. I understand underqualified, but overqualified is stupid.

Trust me, I wish it was bull. But I literally had someone turn me away from a hostess position at a restaurant because I went to college, and they were looking for someone who's standards weren't so high.

Yes, my standards are so high after college. That's why I'm applying for jobs either at minimum wage or a little above minimum wage (which isn't that high in Louisiana). I don't need the money to pay off years of student loans or anything. I'm doing it for ****s and giggles!!! :XD

Let me go find a job that requires a college degree. Oh, wait, I can't? BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT HIRING.

I hate when I'm applying for a job and in the description it's like:

"Experience ESSENTIAL. But full training will be given"

So... why do you even need experience? Go burn in a fire :kurokan:

That moment when you post an art piece you've done, and over half of the comments are them reiterating what is going on.

I want to post a 'YOU DON'T SAY' in response, but screw it. Comment is a comment.

I always wonder if Kazu is really american, because he really looks like someone from indonesia?? Right daikyo?
Part Chinese, part Japanese, half American. Why would I look Indonesian? :kurokan: (I'm not exactly photogenic in the first place; I look much better in candid shots)

OMM: I feel like slapping people who cat-call. It's disgusting and offensive, especially if it's geared towards my friends.

"This character is irredeemably evil!"

...

Are we watching the same show here? I've seen nothing that indicates that this character is evil, much less irredeemably so. Now, once he or she kills a bus full of children and dances around with their corpse while singing "Baby Got Back", then I'll see where you're coming from.

"But this character is redeemable, because she's a woman."

... go kill yourself. Now.

:pat:

OMM: I live in a two-story bungalow which is quite big for four people, in an area where there is absolutely no traffic at all, on a hill, where the residence is very quiet and there's the perfect balance between nature and home (I live in the outskirts of the city). My residence is directly next to a hotel and a golf course, owned by the same company, which allows us to use their pool and tennis court absolutely free of charge because we're residents. There's also a gas station a few blocks away, and the hotel has some really good restaurants.

I go to a good school, with plenty of friends, don't need to work hard at all to get good grades, had some really fun teachers, have quite a number of personal items, and on top of all that, I can eat as much as I want to without getting fat, and have a good build for someone who never exercises.

I'm so lucky sometimes I forget it. :kurokan:
