Also most of the musics in the game are absolutely wonderful, but remake of the Lu Bu Theme was kinda... lame. I have always thought that Lu Bu's theme in DW3 is the best of the series (notice, I haven't played DW6, because I don't have the money to purchase PS3, and I don't have a HD-TV so the game would look prettymuch like the graphics in PS2-versions). I began to play Orochi Warriors few weeks ago, and I think that the soundtrack of the game is brilliant. Sometimes the Story Mode's and the scenario music is kind of annoying, a techno-like.

DW6 & DW5 had bad sound tracks ,DW3 sound tracks were very simple and undeveloped to the last gen . However , DW4 had the greatest music ever in its genre of games .Just listen to the following tracks to et what I mean : 1-Dark Angel . 2-Avenging battle . 3-StruggleforExistence. 4-Eve These are the sound tracks in all of DW series .I hope KOEI follow the same style in the coming DW games .

I personally like that track the most from DW4 including "Heavy Gauge" and "Straight Ahead".

Yeah, I love those 4 tracks too, among my personal favorites but the DW4 soundtrack offered the least amount of tracks I liked, but gave some of the best... DW3 has the whole nostalgia factor for me, DW4 really tried to put the music direction in a different way(ex: slowing down the music and adding more traditional Chinese instruments)... and DW5 tried to do a bit of both. But I thought they did one helluva job with DW6 as almost every song is really good or suited the battle/theme it was suppose to take place in. For the SW series, I thought the SW1 soundtrack in general was a whole lot better than the SW2 soundtrack. SW1 had this more serious, eerie, dark feel to it while SW2 just seemed a little too joyful and bland IMO; there were a few excellent tracks but majority of the SW2 tracks were meh... I guess it just didn't suit my taste lol. The WO series had good music, I'll give it that... Overall, my choice would be DW6... can't wait to see what Koei does with DW7/SW3!

Singing for Love and Justice Posts: 52 Group: Members Member #6,839 Joined: April 17, 2007 Gender Male	My favourite is DW4, for having a nice breakthrough from its predecessors by its progressive soundtracks The combination of old school rock and traditional chinese instruments were just awesome and beautiful.. also most tracks tend to be variative and have rather long playtime (not just trying to brainwash us with catchy riffs/chorus..) Seconded is DW6 for they have the most refined guitar distortions As for SW, SW1 got my vote since SW2 tracks were just remixes of them (the good ones) and some (not so great) new tracks

You might think me old, but I remember some of them very well still and they are pretty great (like the battle of Yi Ling on Wu, Chang Ban on Shu, Hu Lao Gate, Guan Du and Wu Zhang Plains on Shu) to me. I do like though some of DW4 and DW5's music like Eve, and that one that plays often when you have to run or you are losing a battle (I think it's called Run or something).
