You know, despite only wearing a thong, I have to say the over-all photography and shoot is very tasteful. She's a beautiful girl with long beautiful legs.  She's obviously comfortable with her body.

I think she got lazy and didn't feel like completing the lower half of the costume.  Ha, well what's there isn't bad. She's really nailed the hair and poses. Plus she is easy on the eyes... Edited by Manji, Mar 31 2009, 03:51 AM.

XD or ran out of time maybe? The top is very nice...but this shade of red seems very familiar, I think I HAVE seen this costume finished. I remember because the red is very not-accurate, but striking all the same. |

Actually, the red comes from a type of photo effect. Don't think that's the actual costume color since this was all done probably in one photo session. |

Some of that paleness might have been edited like the super saturated colors in her clothing. Diao Chan was pretty pale in DW6 too so they might be trying to match that. Though Zhen Ji was the palest, I'd say all the other girls had darker skin than her and Diao Chan. |

@l00mer: The final question is actually the question. With all the overly extreme done photoshopping it's impossible to say. Just like we can't know for sure if she's THAT pale in real (which I kind of doubt). But the pictures do look nice. I'm saying nice and not good, because personally I do not like all that photo-editing. It's okay for me to correct pimples and the like, but I'm not fond of doing much else, because with all that editing, how can you tell how good the cosplay is in reality. |

i think i'm blushing!!!! Dong Zhou ate her boots and bustle, that's how he got that big. but really, she's lovely, and the attitudes good, but the whole thing seems to be aiming at "shock value" rather than construction skills. a successful photo project, but not necessarily a revolution in cosplay. the Peonies and leaves look store-bought, and they'd be simple to make and look much nicer, otherwise there's not much(no pun intended) to the costume. |

The impression I had is that that girl is a model (I mean someone who is paid to wear those clothes specially for that shoot) more than a "real" cosplayer (someone who does cosplay as a hobby). This would explain the inaccuracy of that costume, their aim was to do a sexy shoot with a popular character. Cosplayers aim to make faithful costumes. |
