Due to past circumstances, the KOEI Warrior Forum Staff Team has decided to introduce a new concept in regards to hiring new forum staff members. A new group entitled "Junior Moderators" will be created, and all those selected from applications will be sorted into this group. The Junior Moderator, once hired, will for certain amount of time undergo training and learn the fundamentals of being a responsible and thoughtful member of the team. All accepted applicants will become members of the Junior Moderator group. The KOEI Warriors Forums staff have decided it is in the best interest of the forum as a whole to undergo this change in staff assigning. Under this training period, we can ensure that our next generation of staff will be serious, have a solid understanding of rules and procedures to ensure that they are qualified to be among KOEI Warriors Staff and be dedicated to their task. Applicants will be given a choice of moderating one of the following forums: Writing/Roleplaying Forum, Member's Lounge, General Section+Sub-Forums (excluding Debate/Discussion), Fun Area+Sub-Section, Multimedia Section+Sub-Forums, Ideas for Non KOEI Games, Ideas for KOEI Games. Becoming a Junior Moderator does not ensure a promotion. If the Junior Moderator performs adequately, they will be promoted to a full moderator rank in which they can moderate sections more to their liking. Discussion of this can take place in the Forum Discussion Thread. If you have been waiting for a chance to become a member of staff then this it. If you feel you are up to it then we would love to have you on board, all you need to do is fill out the following template. Please provide responses to all questions, the better filled out the better impression that will be left. However, the most important thing is how keen you are. Best of luck to all of you! =) Why do you wish to become a Moderator? Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? |

Well, I was recommened to try out. Won't say who, but I'll try my best if I'm chosen. 1. Why do you wish to become a moderator? The only sole reason I can think of is so that I can help other members around the site and make them feel welcome. I've seen a lot of mod posts in a lot of the threads and they really help out for advice or keeping a thread in line or not getting out of control. If anything, I'd like to try my hand at some responsiblity, especially since in real life I'll be graduating from college this month. 2. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? I guess Ideas for KOEI games. I can see why the General Koei area, DW, SW, WO, DWG and BSTHYW were not included. They are pretty much the meat of the whole forum. Giving a junior that much at the get-go would be a bad idea. That said, if I do become a full mod, I'd like to mod the WO section. Most of the time you'd catch me there, especially during the height of post-MOZ release fever with people trying to figure out how to unlock stuff. So why not mod the section where people would post their imaginations and ideas for Koei games? 3. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? Probably the best way a mod should do: Be understanding, but not too kind. Trying not to side with one or another in an argument but be the neutral mediator. It seems that a lot of boards I frequent on have the tendency to have mods that abuse their authority, making it seem a very miserable place. Here though, every mod or higher positioned member I've seen pretty much act like regular members, like old friends. As for improvement, I can't say how. 4. What is your moderating experience? A long time ago, my cousin started up a forum dedicated to A Series of Unfortuante Events called 667 Dark Avenue. At the time he asked his brother, myself and my sister to be the first 4 original members and first 4 original moderators. That was pretty much the only moderating experience I've had. I wouldn't have called myself a good moderator back then; I didn't not abuse the position, it was just that I was lazy. That was about 8 years ago though. Since then I guess I'm old and mature enough to try my hand at it again. 5. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? Skills and traits... I'm relatively a kind person, with a small touch of naiveity (sp?). So I'm not one to post in all caps, or swear, or post anything incriminating. And as a mod, one should not do those either. I can though, stray away from common sense a bit that sometimes leads me into a bit of trouble. Skills for the board, I'm not sure I can help there. I'm not a GFX artist, or someone who is good with Adobe programs, and I haven't written any fanfiction in a long while. I'm slightly aquainted with basic RoTK and Sengoku history and facts, and I'm a real lover of history in general besides Chinese and Japanese. So that's it, hope it will be considered. 1. Why do you wish to become a moderator? One reason is that I'm helpful and welcoming, and have seen the mods do a good job at keeping order. I kind of think that I'm ready for some responsibility, seeing as I've one year or so of highschool/secondary school left before college. I've been on this site for almost 3 years and I'm one of the "veterans" on the site 2. Which forum(s) do you wish to moderate? Well, I'd like to moderate one of the "General" sub-sections, preferably either Debates and Discussions or News and Current Affairs. It'd be good practice for when/if I become a mod. If I do become a full mod, I wouldn't really mind which section I mod, I'm a relativel flexible/reasonable individual 3. How do you plan to run/improve these forums? Well, I'd plan to run them efficiently and be fair yet firm in my approach to being a moderator. That and I wouldn't abuse my authority, seeing as there's no point in me doing so. As for improvement? Who knows... 4. What is your moderating experience? I had a BRIEF stint as moderator here and I was a moderator for the History Deliberation Forum. My second time moderating had given me valuable insight on what it meant to actually be a mod. I've definitely matured since I previously was a moderator here. 5. Skills and Traits? I'm a very reasonable person for the most part. Skills, I dunno, I'm interested in history and have a relatively good knowledge of books and movies Well, that's it. I hope that I'll be considered Edited by Red Knight, Apr 5 2009, 10:56 PM.

Well, I know i have failed so many times in the past, but it's a dream of mine, and i figure i may aswell give this another shot, now that i am alittle older, wiser and maturer. Why do you wish to become a Moderator? I'm not going to lie and say that i would only like to be a moderator because i want to help the members of the forum. Though that IS one of many reason i would like to be part of the staff team, I've been a member of this forum for quite some time now and know what its like to be new and need assistance, know what its like even now to feel like you could do with some one to help you out when other members gang up on you, Well for some one i could be that help, and the thought of that drives me to want to be a moderator even more. I would also Like to bring some shadow luvin' to KW. Yes that may sound alittle wierd, but KW has given me so much and i feel like i owe it to the forum to give something back, I have creative ideas and i feel i would be able to better share them as a moderator. It's been my dream for a long time now to call myself a KW staff member, in some way shape or form.I have grown up quite abit since i first joined here and now i think that i am ready, So more then anything, i would like to be a moderator so i can be proud of myself, for being able to do something where i can help ALOT of other people. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? If it were possible i would like to moderate the Fun area and the sub area, pure because i feel at home there among all the random games and such, well it would be where i felt most comfortable moderating. If required however i could adapt to moderating any of the other forums. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? I plan on improving the fun area by giving it a GMT moderator so that it will be careful looked after at more hours of the day. But not just that i would try to improve it by reviving old topics, and stopping people from making harmful posts/or dealing with them as quick as possible. I would also be able to bring forward my creative ideas for games which members could participate in, which i should think would surely improve the section somewhat. Also it has come to my attention that less people are posting in the sub section, so i would of course attempt to do something about that. What is your moderating experience? I am the root admin on my own forum ROG and have some knowledge of the Mod CP and the Admin CP. I know all the other basic stuff such as locking topics, bumping topics, sticking threads etc. In forums which i have run, they have worked pretty well and a few have died but purely due to inactivity which cannot be helped on a small forum. I have also run a few games/RP's/etc on other forums where i have not been a staff member, but i supose it may still count as i had the experienced of the commitment you need to have to be a staff member an a forum with high activity. On this note had i been a staff member it may have been alittle bit easier. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? Activity - I am a very active member, though i don't post everywhere, everyday, i am still online and i am not lying when i say i am rarely anywhere but on my laptop, though i am still at school i am still online between then hours of 4 - 10:30 (GMT) and on weekends/holidays more then that. Helpfulness - Though i am not THE nicest person here, i do try my hardest to be helpful to people who need assistance and i have rarely refused to lend a hand to some one in need. I have even offered/given my assistance to staff here before. And if it is not minded me saying i think i have humour, intelligence and grammar on my side too. Oh and not forgetting i have some talent in GFXing, So if required i could lend my help in that respect. Please consider me. x Edited by Shadow, Apr 5 2009, 12:32 PM.

I wouldn't mind being a junior member now that I'm back. Why do you wish to become a Moderator? I wish to become a moderator because I would like to once again contribute to KW as best as I can. I believe I know enough regarding forum moderation and I am interested in lending a hand to the rest of the staff as a junior moderator. Basically, I want to become a moderator in order to get a certain section back on its feet. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? The General section, specifically Debates and Discussions and/or News and Current Affairs. I feel that these are the only parts of the forum I should (if I become a moderator) be held responsible for, since these are the ones I believe I can be counted on in terms of activity and encouragement of discussions. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? By encouraging free thought and the prevention of any actions that violate the rules of the forum. I also plan on creating topics that I am sure would encourage debates, however, should the debates continually be handled immaturely I will be forced to give the topic a rest in order to allow some members to cool off. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) I have served as a moderator and Global Moderator in KW for two years, and have also contributed to major changes that have been carried out by the former administrators of this forum. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? When given a task or responsibility, the mere thought of failure simply annoys me. I hate to waste time, and always look for a fair and positive solutions when handling disputes. However, I understand if you guys are looking for the new members rather than the old ones. So I think it would be better if the new members are given opportunities to improve the forum, since I have already done my part. |

Hey, I am going to post my application, hope you enjoy it!~ wu_tiger Why do you wish to become a Moderator? I realy want to become a moderator of KOEI Warriors because i have been on this forum for almost 2 years think and through that time i have obdserved he mods and really credit them for what they do, and now that i am older and have been on this forum for quite awhile I wish to have more responsibility and to help the mos take care of the forum and its community for aslong as possible. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? I would like to mod either the General Sections + sub sections or Multimedia + sub sections, but I am not a very "picky" type of person so any section would be a great oppurtunity. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? I would like to encourage people to say what they really want to say, if you like a movie people didnt then say it etc, cos I am tired of people being "fake" and if fight occur I will be there quickly to stop them. Another thing because I am in the UK, the section(s) will have a GMT mod to see things when they are asleep or too busy to mod because of the time differences. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) I have been a mod of Gamers Heaven and Era Of Chaos both which died, but Gamers Heaven did make a comeback but died short soon after. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? I have a few skills, nto many of them can benefit but, I am very good at the performing arts, I can sing and act so if KW wants theme song they can have me and for voice acting too! I am also a fair-GFXer, I hope these skills do come in handy on these forum. I am also an active person so you can count on me to be here everyday. Since I teach, I am a very friendly and relatable person, i am very easy to get along with people who want guidance and infrmation about the forum ![]() Thankyou for the oppurtunity

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? I've been on this community for quite some time, and I enjoy seeing all the wonderful things related to KOEI. I enjoy interviewing, and I'd like to be a respectful, kind, considerate moderator to all the members here. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? If possible, I could moderate the Debate Thread, or perhaps the anime/manga section, particularly the Naruto section if possible. If one is needed for the video game section, I can mod the Action Adventure, Fighting, or RPG section, I can also mod the Health thread if needed. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? I wish to bring a creative and unique approach to moderating, and possibly try something no mod as ever done before. I also hope to help any member with any problem they are having. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) I've modded on several comic book forums, but they were usually small forums that eventually died out due to lack of membership. I modded on the Koei Conquerors as a trainee, but due to time constraints I was forced to abandon my position. However, I can assure you that this wont happen here, of that you can be sure of. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? I like to be a problem solver, and help members with any problems they are having. I also enjoy speaking to the other members and learn their interests and things that benefit them, to realize what others like so that I can understand it from their viewpoint. I am also very active in that I've done several interviews with voice actors, and am currently in the process of conducting one with Jessica Strauss, who voiced Inahime in the Warriors Orochi series dub. I admit, I can take things out of proportion alot, but I promise to be very alert in what I am doing, and make few mistakes possible. Sometimes I may screw up, and unintentially injure someone in the process, but I shall always try to make it up to them in the nicest, creative way possible. On another forum, I was labeled a "ratical feminist va," but I assure you, this wont happen here in that I wont spread my feminist views into a web of controversy as to provoke other members. All in all, I've acomplished a lot to come here, and being here these past 3 years, starting back in 2007, I feel I've grown and matured to blossom into the socially acceptable member you see today. I shall work very hard, and hope you take me into consideration ~ Mei Ling Edited by Mei Ling, Apr 5 2009, 03:06 PM.

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? I have applied multiple times in the past, and my reason still remains the same. I wish to contribute to the forum as much as I can. I feel now I have much more I can contribute than I could in the past though, as I used to never visit the forums I now visit most and within them I have ideas. Really though, I just want to give something back, I spend a lot of my time on the forum, the community is great and the staff team seem to put a lot of work in to keep it going well. I want to help keep the forum as a friendly enviroment and to help out the existing staff members running the section(s) I would be modding if I am given the oppertunity. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? Within the forums covered by the Junior moderators, the only Forum that particularly interests me is the Fun Area, though I'd be more than willing to mod the Ideas for Non-Koei Games. I really believe the Fun Area needs a mod in roughly GMT timezone, as that has occasionally been a problem for members within the GMT timezone, so even should I not make it, I ask you at least consider someone of about this timezone. Should I make it to an actual moderator, then by that point I would love to mod the Other Non-Koei Games section, particularly the Strategy and Action sub-forums, these being where I seem to visit most regularly besides the Fun Area. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? Well, within the Fun Area, I have a few ideas for some new threads, nothing on the major competition level, but I still think I could be able to sticky, lock and archive threads when necisary since I am in the Fun Area almost all the time. For the Ideas for Non-Koei games, I would for one try and stop spam and flaming if any arises, but I also have ideas which could be posted there, which I have not posted as a member, as I don't really want to make new threads. (look at my thread creation and that'll back up I rarely create them ) As a mod I would be sure to post in the sections I mod though. Beyond that, as I stated above I believe we are in need of more GMT mods, at least for the Fun Area, which is likely the most active Forum, without specific things encouraging posting elsewhere. I am, of course, within the GMT timezone, so this would make me suitable for that. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) Well, I have been an admin on several forums, of them the only one left really is Realm of Gaming. I set up most of the forums, the member groups and the skin, so I have a lot of knowedge with the ACP and quite a lot with the MCP on Invisionfree forums, never done so on Zetaboards, however I have been a mod on a Zetaboard forum in the past. I have also been mods on so many forums I can't keep count, normally just doing the general mod things of locking, pinning and archiving topics, stopping spam, flaming and other such rule breaking and the like. Numerous were RP where I also had to stop them godmodding, metagaming and stuff, but that isn't really relevant for the forums I am applying to mod. Most forums I have been a mod on have ended up dying, or I lose interest in them as the admins do nothing or just try and dictate everything themselves. This forum should have no such problem, and as such I believe I can give it my full commitment. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? Well, it goes without saying I am active. I am here a lot of the time, most of which in the Fun Area, though I do browse about, and would do so a bit more probably if made a mod (I normally just Browse checking the Forum Concerning and Non-Koei Games sections, some others such as Staff Area and Support and Feedback would be there also though should I be accepted). My activity is high, though I believe about September it may drop a bit as I start Uni. Even so I still believe I'll be more than active enough. I am fairly helpful when I try to be, and mostly in a kind manner. This means I can help within the forum(s) I would mod and not do so in a way which offends people or makes them want to leave. ![]() I amn't sure how the staff team works, but assuming its like the forums I currently staff, and its discussed/debated when changes are to be made, then I believe this would count as something. I have a very strong opinion about things, if I have any view on it at all, and I often have a view on things when they influence anything. As such, even if most/all people agreed on something and I was opposed, I would still say I disagreed with it, give all the reasons why, often in a debating manner, countering all the points made for the opposing opinion if possible. I am also open to things, so should I be convinced that my opinion is wrong, normally needing something factual to back it up to do so, then I will be open to changing my mind. Also, from my experience in many situations, some being from staffing on other forums, others just being random conversations and such, I have noticed I am good at getting an understanding of things if they are just worded badly, so if someone is uncertain on what someone else has said have often been able to reword it in a different way, normally getting the point they were trying to make across better if confusion was there to begin with. This has been a common thing with me, however with the staff here, I don't see that as something that'll be needed much if at all ![]() I also generally keep my cool when in situations such as that, so won't flame to get my point acorss or anything immature like that. I have applied in the past and never gotten the chance to try and prove myself, so I hope with this I will get my chance and be considered for the Junior Mod position. |

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? A lot of the reason is to help out the mods and make sure everything is as organized as it can be. I’d also try to help increase activity if I could think of interesting topics. Also I do have a lot of spare time and am on the forum a lot so the more I could do for the forum while I’m on it, the better. I’ve also made tons of friends here and it’d be nice to help others out and try and just give back. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? I’d like to mod either the Writing/Roleplay Forum or the Fun Area and its sub sections. But actually, out of all those listed I’d be fine with any except Multimedia since I rarely view the topics there. Mostly the Fun Area and W/R Forum since for the Fun Area, I spend so much time in there trying to think of new games and participating in others games. Then the W/R Forum I’ve been wanting to be more active for a while and have tried to think about topics to help it out and it’d be nice to do even more. If I ever got to a full moderator and the GFX Section needed more mods I’d love to mod there, but like I said, Fun Area and W/R Forum head my list. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? Fun Area: I’d try to make more games like I have been and have more topics that members would post in while trying to bump some good old topics and preserve activity in the Sub Forum. Then I’d make sure people weren’t made fun of too much if there were any serious situations. W/R: I would post a lot more so there’d be a new post as often as possible there on the main page. Hopefully that would attract the interest of members there. I’d also try and make new topics, participate in the RP forum and do whatever else I could think of. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) Honestly I have never been a mod before which is why this Junior Mod would be so much better for me. I’d be able to get the hang of things more easily so I could become a good mod. The closest thing I’ve been to modding is games in the Fun Area to be honest. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? Well I’m active enough and check almost every section in the forum even if I don’t post there or know what it is to check new replies and the like, even though I read twice as much when I know/am interested in what I’m reading about. I’m also pretty nice I think. Definitely not the nicest person in the world but I do my best. I’ve helped Days of Darkness out a bit when she first joined and I try to be nice with every member and hopefully will do more later. I probably could think of some ideas to help out the forum or solve problems to. I’m good at math so problem solving is needed there. ![]() Lastly, I’m younger so I can relate more with some of the younger members and I’ll be here for a while. ![]() Well thanks for reading this and giving the opportunity. ![]() |

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? Well, I always wanted to become a mod here. This place is easily the only forum I go on everyday ever since I joined and pretty much the only forum I'm keen on continuing with it. So I guess I should give it something back, I've seen many mods come and leave, I believe all of them took and gave to this place, and I just want to see myself there someday, would feel great I can imagine. I also hate it when some accuse me of mini-modding just when I some one breaking a rule, guess I'll have something to say back. Besides, I'm online everyday, so trying to do SOMETHING productive ain't that bad ![]() Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? I think this is where I failed at my previous applications, most of the threads here are 'favourites' threads that you can hardly post more than once. Though I do check most of the threads when I sign in, I hope that you don't take measures by only posting. Anywho, out of the sections open for Junior Moderators, I find myself more active in the Fun Area than any others. I'd happily mod the Member's Lounge or the Multimedia sections if needed. Aside those, I would gladly moderate any section I may get the chance to moderate. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? Fun Area I can continue posting there, though I've posting quite less recently I can't deny, due to school and the like but I always, somehow, find myself here. I can also run more competitions, I ran a couple in the past and I believe I can come up with more ideas. Aside competitions, I can start a couple of games here and there. I'd try to maintain the order there and help pick up the activity there. For other sections, I don't think I can stop flames as is, as that's litterly impossible. Though I'll give it my best to help the sections get as popular as other sections and quel any type of chaos if it ever starts. As Sanada said, most of the mods here are from Ausralia or the USA, so a couple more of Eurpeon/Asian mods would be good. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) Well I worked in alot of forums, I can't remember most of them. I admined Warriors Legacy which had it's prime but closed it as my intrests went low, though I think it was successful. Aside that, I'm currently a moderator in an arabic ROTK discussion/debates forum, the forum is doing brilliant currently and we are attracting members quickly. In general though, I'm well familiur with all the commands both IF and Zeta has, though my memory is a bit rusty on Zeta, I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem though. Aside that, I can handle all types of people and know how to treat them, and hopefully won't find any situation that I wouldn't know how to act, in case I do I can ask any of you guys. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? I always been active, save for the past couple of days, as I stated due to school exams. My activity will hopefully stay the same, save for next week when I have exams. Aside that I can ensure that I stay active and fulfill your expectations. And as I previously mentioned, I don't post in much threads because I already posted at them and most of them are 'favourites' threads but I'm well intrested into dicussion threads and I find myself posting there much more. Aside activity, I know most of the situations a mod may get into and I believe I have enough experience to get past them and fix them, and I admit it when I do something wrong, it's always good to learn from your mistakes. I helped a couple of people at this forum and contributed through discussion and providing stuff including competitions and games. Now for skills, I'm into GFXing though I probably won't be of use as you already have many GFXers that are ten times better, though I'll be ready when assigned to duty, if I get the position that is. Hopefully third time is the charm ![]() Thanks for giving us this opportunity and good luck to all

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? I really don't care if I become a moderator or not. But if you want to give me the position, then I don't care. I'll take responsibility for the duty and do what I'm suppose to in that position, of course, but don't think that it's anything I'm going to be begging for. In my experience, it's really not that good of a position to be in anyway. You have people yapping at you for their problems on the forum all the time and blaming you for the problems that come about in it. It's really an unforgiving and unthankful job, so it's nothing to be really prideful if you're in such a position. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? anything in the general section, anime/manga and the entirety of Non-Koei games section. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? Contributing the best I can, I guess. I mean, it's really hard to really say you're to improve on this forum other than getting people to contribute in it. What is your moderating experience? Been moderator of the now dead Xenosaga forums, moderated a few MAL groups before becoming inactive and a number of other forums out there that I've abandoned and don't immediately come to mind. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? The ability to think reasonably and see what topics should be wasted and what should remain. I'm fair to everyone, so I'm sure no one will hold any grudges against me... Well, not due to my moderating anyway. Edited by DrewTheDude-Dono, Apr 5 2009, 07:04 PM.

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? This is the only forum that's been like a home to me, and I want to do everything I can to contribute to its further success. I've been here a while, and it's rather cliche but I've always wanted to be a mod. There are also many talented mods here that could use a coffee break every now and then ![]() Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? I'm basically a veteran of the Fun Area, but anything Off Topic works well for me. But if there IS a demand for another area, I'd be glad to help there too. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? Hmm, well I do have a few ideas. In the Multimedia section, I could clean it up by stickying a Voice Acting thread (since there are a small number of fabulous vocal threads in there). There are also some games in the Fun Area which are basically dead, and if they aren't resurrected again in a certain period of time I can archive them for more space. In an areas like 'Ideas for Koei Games' I will be honest about not having a clue on what to do there, only that I'll do my best to come up with further ideas later, and try to keep everyone on topic there. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? I like being of help to people, and pointing them to the right direction. I am able to respect and treat people fairly. My schoolwork is somewhat of a top priority, but I do stop here every now and then (because this place is so addictive!) Determination and perseverance FTW. As soon as I set myself into a project, I stick to it and get it done ASAP/ Edited by Beautiful Thief, Apr 5 2009, 07:11 PM.

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? This is a great forum that I am glad to be a part of, and becoming more than just an average memeber would make me even more proud to be a part of it, (although I would need a new member title )This forum also has one of the best moderating teams our of any i've been on and I would love to be a part of it. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? Fun area, simply as it's the place i'm most active in. Other than that a general or multimedia sub-forum wouldn't be bad, though overall any would be fine with me. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? Keeping everything going smoothly and on-topic is mostly what I would try to achieve. Other than that just simply try and be a good member of staff and keep good standerds on the forum. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) I've had very little mod experience, mostly very small forums. I think my lack of experince has previously hindered my chance of becoming a moderator on several forums. But I think this would be a great chance to get used to moderating and get some sort of experience under my belt. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? Well I usally have a fairly positive attitude, and I dont really hold things against other people. I try and be active alot. Although I dont take things seriously most of the time, that doesn't mean that I dont know how to. |

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? I know this is going to sound like some BS, but to tell the truth, I want to make this forum a better place for just not current members but newcomers as well. I introduced this forum to my friend and a week later he became in active, and turned out to have just stole some music from the forums(I did remind him to never do it again). I want to stop that, and make this forum better for everyone, and improve the quality of this forum as well. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? At the moment I do not care as long as I can make this forum better, but I would appreciate if I could do the fun area or members lounge. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? I plan to commit to this forum, and whenever I see somebody disobeying a rule, remind them in a friendly matter that they can understand, not like some moderators that just tell you the rule and expect you to learn. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) I was a moderator in Wii Troopers forum, but that was when I had my Wii and played a lot of Mario Kart Wii and Call Of Duty World at War. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? I am friendly, and realize that their is an extent of boundaries that you can't cross. Not only that, but I am loyal and persistant, and won't give up easily. I noticed that a lot of other people said this as well, but I too am responsible, and not in a stuck up way, but in a charismatic way. I thank you for spending your time on reading this xD With much love, Danate |

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? Well i've been apart of KW for about 2 years now, and it's about time i gave something back (even tho i have done a bit for the site =P). With me being apart of the site for so long will give me some advantages as i know how the site works and most if not all the rules, and i'm really friendly person so i'm easy to talk to, so i can help sort problems out and help new (lost) members. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? To be honest i would be perfectly happy to help run any area that need help in, but if i had to choose i would say out of these three 1-"Ideas for KOEI Games", 2-General, or 3-Multimedia. All thoses areas I would have a nice input in, of that i'm certain. ^^ How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? Well i would look through each topic that i have been assined to to clear spam ... etc, if any arguments were to occur i would deal with it in a true and fair manner talking to both sides, i'm sure there wouldn't be an issue as like i said i'm really easy to get on with. What is your moderating experience? Well i have some minor experience from KW's little sister site KWC, I was a general mod for DWCCv3, i helped out were i could and stuck with my duties through-out the game. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? We'll i feel i would have a lot to offer to the site, some of which (if i'm picked) you will see imerge and benefit form, i'm very easy to get along with, quick learner, i'm not shy to express my ideas to help the site move forward, not shy to put my name forward to help out on extra tasks, (if it helps in the british summer my friend and I are planning to make some sort of youtube blog thing so i guess that could be counted as a skill meh), but i'm pretty sure if you were to pick me you'll see the skills/traits flow out. =) |

Well this is pretty much my old apliacation but i changed it slightly, it still sums up pretty much everything. Why do you wish do become a moderator? well... this is like others the first forum ive been on and ive gotten addicted. So i am online alot of the time so i will be around for events that take place and also to keep an eye on everyone, you know spammers and trouble makers that have flame wars! I am addicted to Koei games and am one of their loyal and biggest fans in the UK. To be a moderator on the biggest Koei site in the world i would think would be an honour! I am also well known (In the Fun Area) so i could easily interact with other members and being my age you dont want a bunch of adults running this place! I know i have not been here a great deal of time well about a year, but not longer than some but i know the present forum as well as them. Which Forum(s) do you wish to moderate? Well i would like to moderate mainly General, Multimedia and Fun Area because they are the topics i only really go on and the ones i am only interested in and also i know enough about these topics to moderate them. I have also read the rules of all of these. If anything i would love to moderate the Fun Area because i am in there like ALL of the time. How do you Plan to run/improve those particular forums? Well i go on them everyday, i take a look around anyway which is the same what i would do if i was a mod but also to improve i would add more useful topics to sort them out more like if one topic drifts off i would create a topic especially for that. But also if an argument about a game or certain weapon or something within that topic drifts off into something else (which usually happens) and/or starts flaming and ends up as a pointless argument i would sort it out by getting the topic back on track so the other posters could post more and get the others to well first find the correct answer and stop the flaming which also counts as spam! oh and as active as they are they could always be a bit more! and before i make any big descisions i.e warn i would always discuss it over with the other mods first. What is your Moderating Experience? Well... nothing really but i did start my own forum and it is still under construction and i havent worked on it at all really because i kept getting attracted towards this one again but i know what it is like to manage a forum just not the members inside the forum. hehe but i do act like a mod on this sometimes and i think i do a pretty good job! What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? Well nothing really to the staff! I mean what can i give them that they dont have already!? But the community, well i am a people person and i am good at talking interactively to people and also i have a very good imagination and come up with lots of great ideas that could really benefit the site, the forum and its members! I also could come up with some information! |

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? I have been here for a while, the forum feels like a home to me already and if wasn't for it I wouldn't ever met some of my greatest online friends. among the various experiences I had here. I feel I could repay it by helping.I can't promise I will make a significant difference on the team, but I can say i'll try my best. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? Out of all the options avaiable for JM; General Section, Fun Area and Member's Lounge are the sections that shown me the most interest. Even tough I also go to other sections, I don't post there too often. But that doesn't necessarily mean I don't show interest on them, just not the usual sections I visit. If I am to become a mod the areas that I show particulary interest to mod are: Other Non KOEI Games, General Section, Fun Area, Member's Lounge and Warriors Orochi Section. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? I believe the Members Longue is one of the most fundamental sections when we step on a forum, specially when the intention is to contribute with their ideas and looking for a place to make new friends, having someone from the staff welcoming them and make them feel them at home. In that particular section could make a difference for a member wanting to stay or leave. I'd start from there and do my best specially when its about newcomers. The whole sections in general: Helping organizing anything needed and in place and act accordingly. Try to start strong discussion points and do whatever needed. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) I modded/administrate a few small forums created either by friends or me, all IF or Zetaboards. With that I learned how to make use all of the moderators abilities. My most noted modding experience so far is on koei.co.uk which being a quite active forum gives me a bigger chance of interact and help members in anyway possible, whilst learning as well. Modding here would be a good experience to me and I believe I could learn a lot more with everyone. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? I'm always willing to help anyone without asking anything in return about. But I too make mistakes sometimes, no one is perfect. I'm quite active on the forum and when here, i could be quite dependable and willing to lend a hand on whatever needed, be it a suggestion/ friend opinion/advice or help on anything that would be needed. I'm also responsible and be sure to think and ask for advice before act. Good Luck to everyone else.

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? I've always wanted to do something to return a favor to Koei Warriors for making me a better (and probably more social) person in real life. This Junior Moderator system is my chance! Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? I would be glad to look after the Member's Lounge; giving a helping hand to new members and making sure that everyone will feel just at home on Koei Warriors. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? Recalling my first time on KW, I was really lost but the staff members really came through for me. I want to do the same for all those new members who might get a little nervous on their first time here. Leave the newbies to me! What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) Truth is, I have no experience on moderating; but this would be a great opportunity for me to learn! Train me as hard as you want! What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? I'll deal with spammers and flamers as much as I can, though I hardly find any around KW, but just in case! I'll be joining the Computer Class in my school this year, so I hope that whatever I learn will be of great help to KW. In addition, I'm willing to give my greatest support for the forums to keep it running until the end! Additionals: I may not be able to go online as frequently as last year, as I'm in senior year now; but whenever I can, KW comes first! Good Luck to anyone applying! |

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? Even though I havn´t been a member here for so long I already feel at home and everyone has been so helpful I want to do something for the site and help other members. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? If I could choose I would mod the members lounge and the fun area and the sub forums Fighting in other non-koei games and music in multimedia but anything is fine for me. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? I would try to make everyone follow the rules and delete spam, check if there´s similar topics that can be merged, see if any topics can be locked or if there´s something that should get sticked. I would also try to get everyone say why they think like they do to keep the discussion going. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential) I´ve been modding a small part of a forum, did it for about a year but wasn´t that mature in the begining. Towards the end I decided to become more serious and cleaned it from spam and tried to make everyone contribute with something that could lead to a discussion. I was modding there for a bit more then a year before I left the site. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? I don´t think I have any skills that the current staff already have. I´m a quick learner and I´m also really friendly and helpful. I have much time so I can be active here and I´m online almost everyday. I´m not afraid to step in if the people discussing gets to agressive and I always tries to see everything from both sides so I can make a fair judgement. Well that´s all I have for now, I´m not sure I´ll be picked but I have to take the chance since I don´t know when I might get it next time |

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? Well, i've here for a while, and i would like to repay the community all they have done for me, so this i believe is a way to do so. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate?Well, i would moderate whatever forum im asked to, but i would like to mod the Member's Lounge and the Fun Area. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums?Mostly preventing spam(excesive in Fun Area's case), merging and locking topics in order to avoid threads crowding, and preventing any kind of dispute that can potentially lead to flaming. What is your moderating experience? (Nonessential)Zero, but what can be better chance to learn this job than this one. What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? Well, i'm not good at GFX and all that, but im a understanding, unbiased person, so i believe i could be of great help in disputes. Phew, that was short i believe. -crosses fingers- |

Why do you wish to become a Moderator? Koei Warriors is a great forum because of its friendly staff team and members who contribute to it. I want it to stay that way so I thought maybe I can contribute some more by becoming a moderator since I am an active member and know quite well about the rule of this board. Which forum(s) do you wish to Moderate? From the choice given, I would like to moderate the Ideas for Koei games section but I don't mind modding the Member Lounge either. If I was picked and eventually became a full moderator, I would like to mod either Warriors Orochi or Dynasty Warriors forum. How do you plan to run/improve those particular forums? I guess I'll keep the place organized by archiving or merging duplicating topics as this tends to happen in Idea threads. I'll make sure people follow the rule like no flaming, spamming or posting inappropriate content etc. What is your moderating experience? Well... that's the problem I have every time I wanted to apply for a mod position. I have zero moderating experience. ![]() What other skills/traits do you possess that can benefit the staff team and community? Well... I can learn things quickly so training me isn't impossible! Also I'm a nice, helpful and reasonable person so you can approach me. (I won't bite) As for skills, I know basic computer skills, some knowledge of Photoshop and the most important of all, common sense. Thanks for reading my application and good luck everyone!
